Rio Rita is a really nice song; i have a version on victor. This is very good, and i love Scrappy's vocal. Singing In The Rain is always a winner and a fine version by Reser; so good to hear that banjo. You have been busy with these recent posts. Thanks for the great music. It will warm up this chilly morning.
I really like Gene Kelly's version of Singing in the Rain but I so love that 1920s happy bounce. I wish I had those recordings to play on my newly aquired Orthophonic Credenza. Gary
I would imagine that you would think the same about Fred Astair who could dance better than he could sing. I certainly hope you are not prejudiced against watching musicals with Fred Astair such as "Flying Down to Rio" or musicals with Gene Kelly such as "An American in Paris". If you are, you are depriving yourself of some fabulous entertainment.
I love that tune "Rio Rita". I have both the 1929 movie and the 1942 movie and fully enjoy the music in both. Gary
thanks for more great music.
always liked rita and this is a great version
thanks for posting

One of the best recording of this I've heard, thank you.

@brenter55 Agree, this may be one of the best versions of this tune.
@HarborGuy My thoughts as well.
@VIVICANAL4 The old dime store labels had some great music on them. The sound quality was always lacking but still can't pass on the music.
when i was a teen i use to date Rita she was hot
