Wow, the muddy waters bowl looks like you did a peacock technique to it. I’m convinced Kim Undseth uses magical unicorn fairy dust to get her glazes to pop like they do. 😂
Different clay bodies you get different effects. I was very surprised with the colors on the muddy waters. It took me a few minutes to start liking it. It’s so unusual, but it looks good in my kitchen!😂🙏🏻
Thanks Anna! Great combos. I love opulence seaspray! Love seeing the combos w that👍🏻. Everything g was lovely, and yes sunrise is surprising! I have some in the kiln now😊. Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your vacation💕
Ana, you are the porcelain queen! That Muddy Waters is so beautiful! I have not used Opulence yet. Love what I see! Absolutely love the Spectrum Floatings! Love Colonial White!
Thank you Audrey! That’s the best result I’ve ever had with Muddy waters. I was about to give up on that one until I saw Kim’s results. It’s so unusual but pretty at the same time. It’s growing on me. I’m in love with the Opulence matte glazes and will be buying other colors for sure. 👍🏻
Thank you so much for linking my channel, I really appreciate it. As always all of your pieces are stunning. I love watching your videos so much. I actually thought I had already commented on this one, but I can't find it so I thought I would jump on again just in case. I could watch your videos 10 times over anyway :)
Awe that’s so kind of you to say Jane, thank you! Once I discovered your channel, I was hooked. I also love your videos, your glazes and your creations. Merry Christmas and a happy new year filled with health, success and creativity friend!🙏🏻🎄
Thank you! This is the first time I am pleased with this glaze. I was disappointed with the tests I’ve done in the past. It likes to be thick and fired to cone 6.👍🏻💕
Ana I was wondering do you mix your glaze or do you buy them as a powder? I don’t do much oxidation (use my electric more for bisque) but would like to try some oxidation glazing.
@ thanks Ana! We have John Britt’s book! I loved that glaze where is was blue on outside but was what you said like a “coffee color” on inside. What glaze was that and was it on porcelain? We use a white stoneware and I wonder how it would do!
@@kathleen8203 on the outside it was 2x Amaco Oatmeal over 3x Amaco Ancient Jasper. The inside was 2x Amaco Blue Rutile over 3x Ancient Jasper. The clay was Laguna Frost porcelain. It should work better on white stoneware. Everything runs more on porcelain. I will try more tests on stoneware also.

Thank you for the mention ❤. I love the look of gloss glaze over a matte glaze. Can’t wait to see your new projects! 😊
@@wockypots2088 thank you! I have so many new glazes to try. I’m excited but nervous at the same time.😂
Thanks Ana! The muddy waters turned out phenomenal ❤
@@dianakio2831 thank you so much Diana!❤️
That bowl is a show stopper !!! ❤
@@Shawnreidpottery thank you Shawn! I ended up keeping this one for myself.😊

Thank you so much Star! I love Seaspray and now I’m in love with their matte glazes. Ugh, now I want to buy more of them!🤣
@ they do look nice and satiny
Thank you for the mention Ana! New concepts take so much time don't they? Have fun with experimenting and discovering!
Thanks Monique! Yes it can take some time, but I enjoy experimenting.🙏🏻❤️
I am still watching your video! But thank for adding me! Thank you Jane for starting it!❤
Thanks for watching Ellen!🙏🏻❤️

@anasclayhouse ❤️
Love it! Especially the muddywater! I had not such a Nice results with it! So I have to keep on trying!
Hi Ellen, I’ve been always so disappointed with muddy waters until now. I think the trick is to apply it thick and fire to cone 6 or close to it.👍🏻❤️
Beautiful bowl
Thank you Carol! I was surprised with the colors!💕
Love some of your new combos!
Thank you Liana! More to come!🥰🙏🏻

I mix some of my glazes using the recipes from John Britt’s book. The commercial glazes I buy are mostly brushing glazes.👍🏻
