Marbury knows what he’s talking about. It will always be MJ then Kobe. These boys nowadays aren’t cut from the same cloth. All about “their brand” and are scared to fail and scared to compete. They also don’t grind the way MJ and Kobe did. Very few have the ability to close out games like them too. Another thing is that there are very few guys that dominate both sides of the ball like MJ and Kobe. It’s so clear to see that the proper order is 1. MJ and 2. Kobe

I’m tired of people putting Kobe behind Jordan. No, stop that. Yes Kobe was great but I can name five players he was never better in their prime. Magic, Penny, Duncan, Shaq, LeBron. Each one is considered the greatest in their position except Penny. Now Penny is the only one in history who’s ever gave Michael Jordon that work in his prime! Injuries the only that stopped Penny career from achieving his full potential.

Even though the majority of former players put Kobe over LeBron, we are still entertaining LeBron over Kobe. Dont get me wrong. LeBron is the GOAT of durability. We will never see a player like him again.
But, Kobe gets a lot of disrespect because he's a copy and paste of Jordan? If its so easy, why arent other players doing it? Kobe built upon Jordan's skill set. Makes no sense.

Kobe is NOT better than LeBron. Kobe is NOT better than Magic. How the fuck is he 2nd in these peoples minds!?!? I mean, it's not even close outside of rings. I'm not entertaining Kobe over Lebron. I'm saying it's not fucking close of who the better player is between the 2 and thats easily LeBron.

To be honest, I'm bored of the single GOAT conversation. There is no single GOAT. There should be a GOAT at each position. Every job has a unique role, responsibility, and impact on winning. For example, a PG and SG have a much greater impact on a team's performance than a PF or C. Mount Rushmore should have only 5 players per position: PG: Magic/Curry. SG: Jordan. SF: LeBron. PF: Tim Duncan. C: Shaquille. It's difficult to argue against any of these players on this list.

People ought to quit comparing these players to each other. There is no such thing as the greatest of all time. Why? Because time doesn't stop. We do, when we die. Nobody knows who the greatest basketball player is of all time, because that player hasn't been born yet. It's like looking at a closed circle, and trying to figure out where it ends and begins. It can't end or begin because it's a circle.

MJ KAREEM..MAGIC..KOBE. you can't with logic put no body else in front of bron but those guys.. born got a ring with 3 different teams and he got a lot of stats no body or not to many ppl can say they have. The reality is that however great people THINK Lebron is, he could have been even better if he had the mentality of Jordan/Magic/Bird/Russell etc. He had the POTENTIAL to be the greatest ever, but he simply isn't based on results, and how he chose to play the game.
