Davy certainly had his own style and you played this brilliantly Josh, it's certainly not easy stuff. You will probably know but Davy's 1965 album Folk Blues and Beyond was very influential and maybe introduced his DADGAD tuning. Back in the day, Davy was the man and other guitar players watched him in awe. More Davy Graham covers please.
The only explanation I can come up with is: Josh has incarnated into this body/lifetime with multiple souls as One. NO one can be this Multi talented in so many ways & still inventing New Magic! Love you Josh; you truly are One of a kind & that's a very unique & GREAT thing~

Davy Graham ! In the sixties, every time you picked up a guitar someone would say "Can you play 'Angie' ?" Josh should do that one. He'd slay it.

Nice job, Josh!! I’ve gotta admit I’ve never heard this song before, and don’t think I ever heard of Davy Graham but I looked up his album called “The Guitar Player” from 1963 and you were absolutely note for note spot on perfect with this one!! He also did equally great instrumental versions of a couple of old classic tunes “Take Five” and the much-covered “Yellow Bird”; I will say, that my late mother had an extensive record collection and so many different artists from the 60’s like Graham and so I wouldn’t be surprised that she may have had his album and I may have heard the songs growing up 🤔

I can guess that, just curious how he got all the stops and the ending without the musical cues, I suppose just knowing the tune inside out?
@@DylanAlthousehey thanks! Yes, I did the drum first and just had to memorize the form. I was kinda humming the tune in my head, and I checked to make sure I got it right before hitting record on the guitar part.

I wonder why Josh insists on playing with that drummer, who not only doesn't like him (did you see how he carefully avoided any contact...? Man... 😱!) but, let's say the truth, is also far from being a virtuoso... and may be I'm wrong (even though I rarely am...) but he also looks frankly older: mm...at least a couple of years, I'd say... and at that age how much room for improvement has he still got...? Man...
