the fact that he's a little bit timid and shy in person just shows how much of a good actor he is. When acting he's always the most confident man in the room

I love that Craig just rips his script cards and chooses to have an actual conversation because he senses Cillian is intelligent and they'll have a good time; plus, Craig is an actual fan of the show, has lived in the UK, and they both have a general knowledge of the areas in question (or at least can BS their way through it). This was a gem to find!
I love that this clip was from ages ago and Craig brings up the atom bomb only to find cillian playing Oppenheimer years later. Funny world

As an introvert I can tell instantly Cillian is one as well, and his social battery was out, however, because Craig is such a goddamn genius he helped Cillian hide it and rolled everything along effortlessly. Brilliant interview.
I really like this interview. Cillian is very quiet and tends to give short answers in most interviews but he is so engaged in this one. It’s very nice to see, and I feel like it’s bc Craig Ferguson puts so much enthusiasm into it. Great job to Craig for getting Cillian out of his comfort zone 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Does anyone else kind of think the Cillian Murphy is just a normal cool guy, that happens to be an amazing actor?
The fact that Cilian was so open and relaxed in this interview, even though he is really shy, shows how great Craig was and how much he is missed. Also, don't know if people noticed, but he intentionally didn't do the psychoanalysis and awkward pause things as he knew Cilian was a bit shy and would have felt awkward. That's also what made Craig amazing as he knew how to adapt and improvise according to the guest
I love how they just have a small conversation and Cillian is just treated like a normal person the entire time.
