Days hit diff for me, I was 12 when I first played it, and had never played a KH game before, so I really felt the confusion and frustration Roxas was going through, "who the hell is this goofy ah clown shoed Sora guy, and why is he tearing me and my work buddies apart?" Yeah, this game's story is very character driven and it makes one very invested in the Seasalt Trio and their tragedy. It was also this game that solidified Roxas as my favourite KH character. So I can definetly understand being lowkey mad at the supposed good guys for the grief they give the trio, Sora included. Thankfully, I've managed to get over my issues with most of them fairly quickly. Key word being "MOST". F*ck. Riku. No seriously, just f*ck that guy. NEVER FORGIVE B*TCH!
Also, Sora's fight against Roxas in 2 had so much emotional weight after playing days, you suddenly get hit with Roxas's theme and the feels train HITS

I do believe KH2 is the best in the series, buuuuuut.... KH1 I think for what it was and as a start to the series was pretty incredible. It was new and innovative. Also, to this day and I'm a 27 year old Male, I still listen to the Traverse Town theme almost daily. The nostalgia and emotions that go through me hearing it is indescribable. I put that song up top with Highwind takes to the skies (FF7), Over the hill (ff9), and Kakariko village theme (LoZ :OoT) as my favourite songs in video games of all time! (Yes I know the last 3 are overworld themes although the highwind theme is once you have the highwind and Traverse town Is a world theme but who cares, that's my preference lol)

KH3 is my favorite game in the series. I do think its story is weaker than KH1 and KH2, but at the same time the KH story is way bigger and more complicated than when 2 came out. I simply look at 3 as a piece of a much larger narrative. Apart from that the positives of this game far outweigh the negatives in my opinion. Combat is amazing, graphics are beautiful, worlds feel more like actual words than ever before in the series, and the Re Mind DLC's story is better than the base game's campaign. Re Mind and the Critical Mode update also give us the challenge that was missing from the game at launch. Fantastic game, The Caribbean is the greatest Kingdom Hearts world of all time, and I hope that KH4 takes a more open world approach. Also I wasn't that perturbed that there were no FF characters. I'm not the biggest FF fan, but I do love FFXIV and I would absolutely shit my pants if we get a minigame where Sora cooks with Ignis, but since Yozora is practically Noctis I think that's unlikely.

man the re chain of memories part was so true. Once you get sonic blade, lethal frame, and ragnarok (easily the most busted) the game is basically on auto pilot. However rikus story made up alot for the gameplay since it plays more like a traditional kh game.
0:49 Trump isn't wrong though, since most players prioritize in building broken sleight based decks. Hell, Lethal Frame is broken against bosses and with 6 combos, you win regardless.

The world design were fully flushed out and events in the game are connected to the main story which made for a fully wholesome world introduction and building game. KH2 has some good combats and good story but unlike KH1, the Disney Worlds felt like fillers and had nothing to really do with the main story which made them a pain to go through. Not to mention that a lot of the locations were shrunk as well so you couldn't access locations that you would normally be able to in KH1. KH3 had the best combat in my opinion but at this point, the Disney Worlds were basically there to fill in for the Disney element and really had nothing to do with the main story at all which made them even more of a pain to go through. As for the KH side games, I've played all of them but their gaming quality was so bad that I felt like I was rushing through them for the sake of getting the story and not to play them. The sucky part is that you have to buy and play those low quality games to understand the story or you won't understand anything when the main game comes out. Had Square Enix flush out Kingdom Hearts and made quality games instead of trying to make low budget side story for cash, Kingdom Hearts would have been up there with games like Elden Ring and God of War. But because they decide to go cheap, they turned Kingdom Hearts into a second rate video game where half the people who played it don't know what the hell is going on because they refuse to play the crappy side games.

Also you guys were tripping about the Ursula fight, it’s not hard. KH:COM - B, I loved the GBA version, it was fun playing it on an emulator seeing my friends just laugh at how stupid but fun the game was in a way. But I can’t say the same about RE:COM. RE:COM’s a strong D. KH2: S, this is the first KH game I ever played and I ALWAYS come back to this game. I will never forget the day when I finally won against Lingering Will on Critical. KH 358/2 Days - B, The gameplay was boring but Biden in this video was right. It was meant to simulate how Roxas felt when he was working for Xemnas. I will say the story carried this game. Also Xion best girl. KH BBS - B, this game was fun. The story was also really sad but I didn’t really get affected much cause it happened so frequently that you got used to the sadness. At least in the other games it was balanced out. Gameplay definitely carried this, except the boss fights. Yeah that’s right, I’m looking at you Eraqus. KH Re:Coded - B, gameplay carried. Otherwise this was just filler in my opinion. The story was stupid but as a standalone story, it did kinda make me cry. I was 9 don’t make fun of me. KH DDD - B, flow motion was fun, too bad it got in the way most of the time. But I do NOT like the dream eater system. KH Mobile Games: D, I never played any of them. Except Union X but I didn’t find it interesting during my first impression. The only thing holding this back from dropping down to F was the story. KH BBS 0.2 - D, I had fun but it was way too short. Also it’s a game you would probably play once and NEVER again. KH3 - Base Game is an A, but the DLC made it S tier for me. What held the base game back from receiving S tier as well was Frozen and 100 Acre Woods. You guys can’t ruin my favorite “filler” world like that man. I’ll let Frozen slide cause Disney shenanigans but NO. NOT 100 ACRE WOODS. IT WAS WAY TOO SHORT. Oh yeah umm the food mechanic. It was good but I dreaded hearing them say “OH SORA LOOK INGREDIENTS” everytime I’m near some AND I CAN’T SEE IT. The DLC was ALSO really good. The Limit Cut part at least, ReMind was okay. Yeah, I like Kingdom hearts for world building and the story. The mixture of final fantasy, kingdom, hearts and Disney was just golden combat is just icing on the cake
Ok no but Re:Coded’s gameplay absolutely is slept on so hard. Easily the best gameplay in the series after two. Yeah mid world design, yeah minigames are varied in quality, the combat is smooth as butter and it’s the only game with deck commands that is properly balanced with them, executed them well, and is fun while doing so. Highly recommend giving it a shot on emulator
BBS honestly wasn’t that bad. The voice acting was mid but the characters and the plot weren’t bad. Combat wasn’t very balanced but the super bosses other than MF were pretty fun.

Ok no but Re:Coded’s gameplay absolutely is slept on so hard. Easily the best gameplay in the series after two. Yeah mid world design, yeah minigames are varied in quality, the combat is smooth as butter and it’s the only game with deck commands that is properly balanced with them, executed them well, and is fun while doing so. Highly recommend giving it a shot on emulator
BBS honestly wasn’t that bad. The voice acting was mid but the characters and the plot weren’t bad. Combat wasn’t very balanced but the super bosses other than MF were pretty fun.

@@IToastMySocks Terra’s dodge was awful compared to aqua and ven. The other two had no problem dodging the superbosses but Terra’s dodge had horrible end lag so you had to cheese everything with thunder surge.

Days and BBS had multiplayer giving those games replayability no games in the series could replicate.
It was cool teaming up with your friends and playing as Organization 13 members. BBS's Arena and online mode were convenient and just focus on combat.
