- Опубликовано: 2 окт 2024
- This video is a kind of tutorial for deep sky astrophotography - for a complete beginner, by a complete beginner, using very low end gear, without any telescopes, trackers and specialized equipment. This is how I took on the challenge of shooting Orion Nebula, 2500 light years away, this is my experience.
The gear used:
Camera Used : Canon Eos 1300D with kit lens 55-250mm
Tripod : Amazon Basics 60 inch
(Yeah I am super broke)
Video I learned DSS from: • How to Stack Astrophot...
DSS Documentation : deepskystacker....
Software Used :
Light Pollution Map : www.lightpollu...
Stellarium : stellarium.org/
Deep Sky Stacker : deepskystacker....

this left me speechless. just wow wow and wow. your efforts and passions speaks about you a lot. i saw all of your videos and every one of them is so much expressive and mesmerizing. good luck. 🤩
Thankyou!!
Impressive! 7-8 years ago I was trying out astro-photography with almost the same gear as yours. But, I never had such a nice result ....shows your skills! Your video is a nice motivation to try to again :D
I thought that will be easy but!!
You explained very deeply
Really? If anything I thought this video barely scratches the surface!
To be fair, I did use the words "balls out terrifying" in the beginning.
Idk what it is, I love the last line about the photons!!! Great job with the video, your best so far❤️
Me neither
Very Very Impressed. It is very informative. More than that, I loved how nicely you created this entire video. Speaks about your passion in this subject and precisely why I am a Fan!
Glad you liked it!
Wow awesome but how do u move the frame bro
@@ajinvarghese8966 sorry for late response but comments in replies are difficult to see. I just move the camera, so that it aims at the subject again, so manually is the answer you are looking for.
I thought you did a great job of explaining the setup of your camera. I also have crappy equipment but that is not going to stop me. I just subscribed to your channel. Your humour works for me... thanks
That's one of the best comments I have ever received, Thanks, and all the best!
Thank you, love your video and comments!
Glad you like them!
You are brilliant your presentation your awesomeness are next level
I would love to meet you in person and we can plan something big that suits your passion and interest
I love watching your videos... These are very informative and different. The way you put everything up is different. Great work.....
Thanks!
I enjoyed watching this, clear and concise, with a dash of humour, one tip for improving your images is to simply stack more.
I think for astrophotography of deep sky it is recommended to shoot at least 300 astro photos and then around 150 calibration shots, and you will be amazed at how much detail you can get, even with old cameras it is possible to make it go much further, and there are also a few photoshop tricks to make the distant stars pop as well.
Re 1:46 - Actually you can, and you should. It is possible to capture the Andromeda Galaxy with just a DSLR and Tripod. Yes, it's a lot of work, but that's, like, 70% the fun! Who goes out at 1 am alone to sit and watch their camera's storage light blinking for an hour? You continuously track, adjust, level, measure and focus, and that's what makes it so fun. And then there's the stacking and editing - watching the details come to life, one by one, is just something indescribably unique and rewarding.
So yes, you should expect that, from that.
Great keep working hard📈📈🔥🔥

Bro upload this type of video more, it was fun watching
I just love you sense of humour 😂
Best video for karm kro.,.,chahe fal tumhe pata hi kyu na ho.,.,.,you knew it .,.,it would be like this ,.,yet all the hardwork.,.,focus ,. determination.,.,.,💥💥💥👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟❤️🔥

I really like this video ✨
hahaha! Well done man, had me giggling at a few places :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great skills. And Superb presentation. It seems the result of years of hard work and deep passion for the work. Although many of the things just went over my head. Your have a long way to go.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very underrated channel
Amazing, I love astrophotography and I also like the challenge about using a low cost equipments, e.g I like to take photos from planets using my own phone, it's amazing because it's hard, and it needs more technique than just expensive equipment, Galileo observed the moons of Jupiter with a simple 8x self-made equipment, so I can do, or at least try.
That's the spirit!
Although to be fair, moons of Jupiter are much easier to spot than photographing deep sky objects
How can we take photos from phone?
Bro i think i was looking for you. I am an astrophotography enthusiast but not started yet. You have given me motivation. I am from Dehradun. And please keep doing this. I need you. Subscribed without a second thought. Soon i will start this
Go for it!
Love your editing! Photos are great too! keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Bruh your videos man 🤣🤣🔥🔥, educative but f**** Hillarious too. Thanks pal keep them coming dropped a sub 🔥
Thank you indeed!
@@HarshitRautela bro do one for the whole Orion belt man, am in WinnWinnipeg and currently the Orion belt is well visible and I was thinking of trying to take a shot of with with my 35mm 1.8 without tracking cuz you know gear
@@ROVLOGS12345 Well if orion is visible in Winnipeg it is sure as hell not visible in India. Besides, I think the procedure is very similar, take a lot of shots, and merge them in Deep sky stacker. Also, there are much more qualified people that can help you much better than I can ever, so, well, all the best.
Wow... Great effort good result...
Amazing work !
Thanks!
Storytelling 😮
Nooo ..its awesome..its something very very creative
Thanks!
Finally! Someone I can relate to! I like your humor too!
Thanks!
Good informative . Liked your sense of humor
Very nice
Thankyou
Impressive 👍😎
Excellent, love the comedy and easy to follow. Keep going, cant wait until you do Uranus :)
Haha! I think you are joking, Uranus being an unfortunate name for the 7th planet, but, taking this more seriously, it would be next to impossible for me to locate and shoot Uranus, given the equipment.
nice video 🤣🤣😂
Awesome man! ❤
Thank you so much for this video
That lens is so dirty its triggering me!
Well the problem is that the dust is on the inner side of the lens, it once fell and tumbled off a hillside. I am grateful it still somehow works, so, a bit of unreachable dust doesn't bugs me off as much.
Wow
its sad that a youtuber like you has little subs, your very funny and u act like a popular youtuber wich makes you so great, keep going man, loved it
🍻
How to do I get photoshop with my invisible money? 😭😭
That's some commendable work🔥🔥
Thanks!
Bhula kaan rucha tum? By the way nicely presented and you do have some good sense of humor...best wishes!

Him: choose a good location (and by that i mean find a dark place away from a city)
Me waiting for a new moon and a city black out to take a pic of orion nebula with 1200 ISO, 2s shutter, smart phone and a 60 mm telescope: ah yes, i see this is an abseloute win!
Well, I've seen people taking great shots even in the fairly light polluted skies, so, what's there to lose in trying, eh?
it was beautiful picture, and very nice explanation of the process.
Hi mama good vedio road to 100 subscriber

You are actually good at this 🔥🔥
Thanks!
You can change the mode to 16 bit in Photoshop so you can work with all the tools. 👍Nice work.
Yeah, after stretching I did that, but I didn't include that part from video because I thought the video is getting too long.
Thanks for complement!
Good job , Harshit.
Thankyou!
Damn the execution 😳👌🥳
Well I am myself glad I pulled it off

Have fun!
@@HarshitRautela i. i got something but. that ain't it. F
and fun? it's tiring 💀😂
@@ishashelare In all fairness I did use the words, "balls out terrifying", so, that's that
Nice one
Thanks 🔥
Is it necessary to take pictures in RAW??
It is not necessary, but it is highly recommended. JPG images, even at the finest settings, compress the image data, leaving the file size at 20-30% of what it would have been at RAW. And, since we are going to the lengths of taking hundreds of shots to boost signal, compression is kind of not ideal.
Nice bro
Thankyou!
Amazing
Thanks!
Amazing🔥✨
Thanks man
Great videos, and the In between humour too
