Marv Albert called many historic sports games for the city of Houston. He called both Rockets' Championship games in 1994 and 1995 and he called the game when the Texans clinched the playoffs for the very first time in 2011 against the Bengals.
You got that right man I collect Oilers gear its the ultimate throwback.I have a full size Oilers helmet & that thing really pops.I also have a 1967-70 rare silver version helmet
Lol the NFL was much more fun back in these days and the announcers also were hilarious. NBC's especially. Paul Maguire was always funny. "that was stupid!". The way they brought you the games and pregames was good too. Now you have ESPN NFL Countdown with 30 people in the studio and the annoying little worms like Adam Schefter. It was better.
Oilers were lucky to get out with a win. I was a Huge Oiler fan, but they seemed to play down to there opponents level. Even though the Jets were a worthy opponent.
Erik mcmillan knew how to get the ball in his hands

He was actually a NY Knicks commentator.
I miss looking up at the ceiling of that historic building. I also miss the days when a Houston NFL team had a Defense that awesome!
For sure, because the Texans defense is garbage!
I wish the Texans could change to the Oilers I miss them, but the Tennessee Titans own their rights & records
Plus the unis for the Oilers are top tier.

IDN why Houston choose the texans????? But when they did I left with Tennessee. texans = cowgirls. A wannabe be cowgirls 😝👎
Why not the Houston Ranchers
I'm a Jets fan and they blew this game. Ken O'Brien threw 2 interceptions in the end zone.
Jets defense was awesome!

Agree and Maguire was right as well about that play being stupid! Yeah, football was just better back then
All these twerps like sheffter and mcvay who get paid to constantly be wrong about players! They are annoying
EXACTLY
Al Toon vs the Houston Oilers basically!
playoff game that jets had a very good chance of winning, but did not!
this was a great game

I'm right there with you brother. The next week they let Denver stick around too long and got burned. I was crushed. The next two years... same story.
Teams do get better in the playoffs
Wtf 2:04😅
Toon dropped that td.
