I wish youtubers like you had a bigger audience... how can people doing pranks and stuff can get more money and fame than people trying to help and improve life? Glad you are here♡
Many good things but for that last one about a relationship: always Ask yourself If You did something to change the situation. Just waiting around for someone to change without the person knowing There is something you’d like them to change is a worthless idea. As well as if you yourself are making any changes to make things better. There are ofc times where all the talking and trying in the world can’t change the fact that a relationship must come to a end. But I also think far too often a person want to break up after expecting change out of the blue and just having lived out of their own perpesctive and feelings without telling the one person who Actually might have been able to make the situation better. The old saying You can’t make someone change is BS, If a person Want to change They can change. But not if they are left in the dark. Just food for thought.
Thank you for the book recommendation! I'm working to distance myself from an unhealthy relationship this week and your concise tips really helped remind me that it is the best decision for me right now.
I am literally going through this trying to decide who I am going to hire. The first person ticks all the boxes and did well interacting with the students, but missing energy in his personality. The second person has so much to give with amazing creativity, doesn't tick all the boxes which means more work for me and overprepared and lost it with nerves. Something I totally would see myself doing when something is so important. But my heart says I can see this creative person staying with us longer....
Update: The second person turned down the offer before even getting an answer, so I decided turn the other person too. And voila what Muchelle said go with third option and look for someone who lives already in France. I mean this whole pandemic makes everyone question what they are doing. May be it is really time to take step back and see what other options there are. Less is more. Gooosh I feel so much better it got resolved. I just need to take time to rethink things.
I think this is one of the best videos you’ve done. Which is saying a lot when the calibre of your videos is so high. Maybe I’m biased because I struggle a lot with indecision haha but this is SO helpful!
You know when you can feel that lightbulb moment... something clicks and everything makes sense. Thats the feeling I got from this. Let me grab my notebook to write these down!
Sometimes for me, my instinctive "no" (for example) can be a huge fear no, rather than a gut feel "no". It takes a little digging to get to my real gut feel!
Woah! I seriously needed this. And for the first time, I made very detailed notes on your steps, so hoping it willhelp. Usually I am too lazy and simply save your videos for later action. But no more! Also much love for always bringing such dynamic content, things that not many influencers talk about!
Love your videos !! Would love to see a video on how you read and digest books so that you can implement the lessons you’ve learnt in your real life. Whilst it seems quite a silly question, I find that after reading a self help book I don’t retain a lot of the information. Would appreciate your thoughts xx
Michelle has a video on this :) here's the link: ruclips.net/video/0z2XdA9aBao/видео.html (I loved it so much and implemented her tips into my own reading habits)
I actually had the opposite line of reasoning to your 10/10/10 rule! (This was about getting an iPad Air 3 or the iPad Pro) 10 years down the line, I would be glad to have paid a few hundred extra (which divided over the course of 10 years is only $30 more each year) for the higher end, fancier option if it means much easier, efficient, and comfortable use over those 10 years. Granted, a luxury car is thousands of dollars more each year, so ymmv
Oh wow, I am just about to make a very important decision. Haven't watched it yet but I'm basically having to chose between being happy now or in a few years
Love your content, but there’s really so much publicity for skillshare. Feels like it’s in every video now. A bit repetitive? We get it. It’s amazing 😉
Thank you so much for this video. I'm watching it at the perfect moment in my life, where I have a big decision to make, and your video was incredibly helpful.
Very informative video! The one thing that I feel the most is an outsider perspective. Sometimes I know in the back of my head that I wouldn't recommend doing something to a friend but I do it anyway. I should start using that technique :).
Ooh they did do a collab a few years ago on New Years resolutions (but they each made a video, rather than being together in the same video...other sides of the world I guess!)
I believe it’s always your gut feeling, but if that feels like fear then we need to elevate our energy so we can hear what our intuition is really telling us ☺️❤️🌟❤️🌟
I really enjoyed this video. I’m currently reading “Upstream” by Dan Heath and I’m enjoying the content and writing style very much. I’ll be adding this book to my list. 😀
I loved it! Had it for a couple of months for multiple classes of one person. I did almost all of them now so I stopped my premium account for now but I might be coming back in the future! For someone who likes following steps along more than finding random videos, It was amazing haha
Personally, I don't feel like I or most people I know have the kind of options you mention in the beginning of the video. Like I never would have been able to take a gap year and travel before college, and my options now are more like, "do I want a low paying retail job or a low paying human services job." I don't mean this to be an attack, I just wish this point of view was represented more.
Georgie Rider Hi - I am glad I read your comment as it caused me to think about where you are coming from and the broader issue you are experiencing. Her example didn’t resonate with you but decision making is something we all have to do no matter how rich or poor, young or old, we are. She has given us a valuable tool to help us work through that process. Frankly, I think schools should be teaching this in grade school! You are trying to decide between your two *current* options so try her process to get your best choice. If you want “better” options for your future that will be a whole bunch of decisions about your next steps to move to where you want to be. What do you want to be doing say 2-3 years from now? Create a road map for your life with monthly goals on how to achieve whatever it is you want. Realize doing nothing is also a choice we sometimes make. Best wishes to you!
I love you and your content but i feel like these videos are kinda repetitive now. I support you no matter what but i don’t really see a different kind of content for the last couple of months.
Oh this makes me sad! I've felt SO aligned with my content lately - I feel so good about what I'm putting up and so into the topics I'm talking to and the way I'm talking to them. My content tends to circle around what I'm interested in or practicing in the moment so sometimes comes in cycles ❤️watch what feels interesting and new to you! I'll try to keep things fresh but will also do what feels the most aligned with me ❤️Sending love
I cannot articulate how relevant this video is to the day I've just had, and I instantly feel so seen. I'm sure you don't know when making these videos how they will impact strangers around the world but they are soooo valuable. So grateful for you and your content!
having options and not wanting to make the wrong decision is extremely common with millennials! i just read an article about this from a therapist who has primarily millennial clients
Ahhhhh sooo excited !!! As always your videos keep me entertained in quarantine !!! Yayyayy !! Ps. I make RUclips videos and my dream is to reach 1k this summer's end and I hope it becomes reality!!
Great videos that I would definitely need to revisit every time I try to make a decision ^^ It has nothing to do but I've just binge watched channel notes and how you talked about how you showed your personality using sunrise because you liked it, and know I see them everywhere hahaha
The colours in this video are beautiful! I love how many facts/statistics were included in this video and how informative it was. I am the most indecisive person so this advice is going to help me so much. Definitely need to get my hands on the book too :)
i am slowly getting tired of skillshare ads :( really no hate though I understand you need to make money and I'm here to support you because i like you and your content
Subscribing to this channel was the best choice I’ve ever made ✨ I appreciate you Michelle 💗

Love these techniques! Especially the bit about confirmation bias, that is something I struggle with often.

i feel like our gut is ALWAYS right and usually steering us in the direction we should go. our tuition is always there for us 💙
Sometimes for me, my instinctive "no" (for example) can be a huge fear no, rather than a gut feel "no". It takes a little digging to get to my real gut feel!
importance of following your gut/heart!
I tend to be hasty sometimes so how would you give advice to someone to take their time to think but also involve their gut
@QW AB I did I was just wondering if they had any adittional advice
@@darrellsimon4462 Weigh your options, but put a time frame around it- don't take to long with your decision. journaling also helps :)
Since this video is based on a book, it would be good to give the info for the book in the description.

Incredible, Michelle! I really resonate with this one.
Finally got to watch this! Thank you. I always love your videos.
I can't agree more with these points. You are inspiring me to go read the book "Decisive". You have mentioned it a lot in your videos.

READ THE BOOK - it will be so helpful for you ❤️ I've summarised it well but the deep dive is invaluable.
Super interesting. Def saving this to come back to later
OMG I LOVE THE BACKGROUND CHANGE
Love your content, but there’s really so much publicity for skillshare. Feels like it’s in every video now.

I agree.... I used to watch all the vids religiously but now I put it off because I can’t be bothered waiting through the Skillshare promo 😢
Great video! Thank u😍

Such a valuable video this is ❤️
I needed this video, I’ve been making more impulsive choices lately ❤️
Yaas, I'm glad I could help!

Wow I didn't know that dichotomous decisions are not very good, the studies you've mentioned are pretty interesting!
I really enjoyed this video. I’m currently reading “Upstream” by Dan Heath and I’m enjoying the content and writing style very much. I’ll be adding this book to my list. 😀
Upstream is AMAZING. I actually love all of Chip and Dan Heaths work.
Do y'all know if there's a way to see her old newsletters? I think she linked her trigger list in one of them and I want to go back to it.
