I need more of this. I put it on loop for 7 hours while I slept.
ugh this is exactly what i needed for my new stellar nursery + complimentary molecular cloud

Was about to say the same. You get the one IKEA had on sale?

"Mankind Was Born On Earth. It Was Never Meant To Die Here."
"Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die there."
;)
@@timokomulainen Good correction
Here´s hoping.
Well it's going to die here.
Lol, we're not going anywhere guys, this is it
I love that part from 0:00 to 1:02:45.
this gave me a good laugh. thanks :)
When my oldest son was around 18 months old, we used to play a game called Myst, a very surreal and reality based problem solving game, that had ambient music like this playing in the background. One day, we were playing while the baby slept (computer was in the nursery) and we turned around to see our oldest, then maybe a year, year and a half standing at the crib rail, looking intently at the screen as we played. His first exposure to the ambient textures of sound and he was enthralled and inquisitive. Brings back great memories...thank you.
I used to play Myst with my dad all the time
LOVED MYST - still have RIVEN (sequel to MYST)- but no operating system can run it now... :(
@@needle11 Riven is available on Steam and remastered for newer computers.
I played Myst with my dad when I was little too! Though the music creeped me out at night so I remember at least once coming downstairs from my bedroom to ask him to turn it down so I could sleep lol (I have hypersensitive hearing)
@@thembovolante3046 and then, there is something called DOSBox ;-)
This is one of my three favorites on this channel. Amongst "Songs for a Dying World" and "Songs for Dead Planets"
❤
Agreed on all 3. Beats most games background musics and all 3 in a row make for a great nap. = )
I would say planets never truly die, they just become open ground for weird dark space beings who dont understand concepts of life/death
and "Songs for Zero G", same vibes
yuuuup
Perfect for my stellaris playthroughs
I don't know how I got here, but I like what I hear.
This music makes me feel so sad...so lonely...so bad...so hopeless...but at the same time...so calm...so happy...so glad...to be.
This makes me feel that feeling. Very complex to explain with only words, perhaps no one, or not many, will be able to understand it.
Be one with the void. with all its blessing and its horrors.
My wife and I like to read together and tonight we're reading Star Wars Red Harvest. A bright idea came to mind and soon my fingers began to type "cosmic horror." This was an excellent choice and she stated it really brought out the mood, ambience as I read aloud. Thank you, Cryo Chamber.
Wow the artwork looks amazing
Music to relax to while building tall in Stellaris
It feels like being a Spacing Guild (Frank Herbert's Dune) employee travelling amongst stars under spice effect
Frank Herbert ;)
@@svalckx, thks. Gonna fix it 😅
That image does remind me of a heighliner.
Dune..... The Ultimate Science Fiction... Those last few words at the end of Chapter House Dune...... 🎵🌟🎶
Looked this up specifically for the purpose of reading dune
The adding of Unstable Orbit fits very well with the mothership
Today I am eating the galaxy as a devouring swarm in Stellaris to this music, and it's glorious.
listening to this music now at 4am makes me feel something I can't describe exactly, like an urge to be able to explore the space or to behold something very massive, I don't know the exact words to describe it, but it is a very uncanny feeling, I guess is kind of the same feeling I get from reading or watching cosmic horror, it feels like a primal fear or amazement for something not meant to be seen by a small human in the currrent age
I completely get you ! And I get the feeling ' this' isn't what we think it is. It's like a glimer of the Oneness in all things, Horrific and beautiful. This reality we share is like a carousel 🎠 which is spinning very fast, and we observe each other through a kaleidoscope whilst loosing our grip on the horses.when we die we see what's outside the 'carousel'. Peace to you on your journey ☮
@@sonoflamech777 very well said lad
At least once in your life, go to the darkest place you can reasonably go to, away from any city lights, during a New Moon, at a time of year when the Milky Way's core is visible (from around April to August), and let your eyes adjust to the darkness.
The experience cannot be properly described through words. All I can say is that there is nothing more unfathomably grand one can possibly behold.
I will forever be awestruck and continue to marvel at the beauty of our universe.
“Exit plus twelve,” Axford said. “Image corrected for both wake distortion and relativistic effects. After twelve hours, Avenger was moving at fifty per cent of the speed of light.”
Not just three branches of the Structure now, but an entire intertwined mass of them, dozens of them. There was no geometric order that Bella could discern: it looked as if they’d been tossed into space in random configurations, like a magnification of one microscopic part of a child’s demented scribble.
“Exit plus twenty-four,” Axford said, “one day out. By this point the signal was very difficult to intercept. Useful frame rate was down.”
Bella shuddered at the jump in scale. A twig had turned into an entire forest. Individual filaments of the Structure were less obvious now than the gross organisation of those filaments on a much larger scale. It had looked random at twelve hours, but now she could see that the filaments were indeed ordered, bunched and braided into macroscopic, ropelike groupings that must have been entire light-hours across, wider than the orbits of some planets.
“Exit plus thirty-nine hours, the last useful image. Avenger was at ninety per cent of the speed of light and holding, prior to final acceleration boost.”
The window filled with something twinkling and vast, something engineered - so it seemed to Bella - for the sole purpose of crushing the human spirit. She wanted Axford to hold her, so that she did not fall into that paralysing, deadening immensity. The Structure was far, far larger than she had ever imagined: as complex in its knotted, neural topology as a mind, as wide across as an entire planetary system. It was a torus of light, tilted at an angle of forty-five degrees so that its shape was suddenly revealed. It was only at thirty-nine hours that Avenger had managed to grab an image that encompassed most of the Structure.
“Look at the middle,” Axford said.
Bella complied. Many spokes of light -each of which was a thick braid formed from hundreds of individual strands - pushed inward from the inner face of the torus, as if they were meant to connect with each other, or form a bridge to some other knot of strands in the middle of the torus.
But there was nothing there. The braids splayed apart, ragged as the branches of a lightning-struck tree.
“Something’s missing,” Bella said. “It looks as if it isn’t finished.”
“Or it was finished but something was destroyed. Perhaps that’s the answer to the question, Bella.”
“The question?”
“About where the Spicans went. Perhaps the animals revolted, and stormed the zoo.”

Thank you for this. Gonna check it out.
Spica is seen in February
WOW!!!!🌟
I can’t think of anything better than Cryochamber for my D&D games. The moods are perfect, and sometimes even dictates the flow of the game. Sincerest thanks to all involved.
other great rpgs also benefit too
I refer to this video daily. I often have to play this video for my galactic expanses to rest easily. However, my molecular clouds seem to have grown tired of this loop of music, so I think my stellar nurseries would appreciate it if you released another one of these tracks into the vast, soundless space.
what
@@ssushii7711 You heard the guy, his molecular clouds need more of this music
This music kept my whole stellar nursery awake all night! I only played it because I thought it would calm them down. Now I'm totally exhausted and have a million stars that STILL won't go to sleep!
A very athmospheric compilation. Sounds like something familiar, but forgotten.
Ty for work
First thing that came to mind is Peter Anderson's Raison d'Etre...a couple of sound items reminded me of In Slaughter Natives. Oh man, when all the dark ambient music started coming out from Staalplaat, 1990 onwards, it was a game changer for me. Not goth music, not black metal...it was dark ambient that I resonated with...
Yes! I was trying to find the right words. "Something familiar but forgotten."
1 time in my life years ago when i was younger , i remember lay in bed just before sleep and i had this what i would refer to as a natural trip or out of body experience , it was surreal. I felt weightless and numb, and my mind was totally blank and at ease and felt as if i was floating as some form of matter in this formless shapeless senseless timeless infinite space .will never forget it , was amazing.
Music such as these songs make me feel small and insignificant, yet in harmony and peace with the universe...
I used to come for the music, but honestly now I come for the art. Wow, that is beautiful. The details! O_o
Yeah, they're definitely impressive.
reminds me of Magnetic Rose. watch it.
i like this art, it fill my inner imaginary universe. Music also make me imagine a story within it always help me to remember stuff in form of a story in my own head :)
needs to be rotating cause my eyes are tryin to see it in motion
Didn't sat down 14 hours straight working on lighting and details for nothing..
The Spice must flow...
Shai-Hulud creating Melange.......🎶🌟🎵
Perfect for EVE Online or Stellaris !
yep , ... This gets me where i need to be. " Happy programming !!!" - for those of you trying to get in the zone.
Just started reading the fourth book of The Expanse, perfect timing! :D
I love space travel. Just looking at it makes me feel good.
Tineidae - Starmist is an amazing track. Spell binding.
Thank you for having this available. I had a particularly terrible last two hours, and this has helped significantly in not ruining the rest of my day.
Hope all is well now
Just what I need to reduce stress load and rethink my existence
Highlighting both graphical artists and music artists at the same time. Needs to become the norm! Great stuff.
agree!
No music better than this for writing atmosphere! ♥️♥️♥️
This legit inspired me to start writing a sci fi novel rn
@@shanesmith734 Yes! You go for it! Writing is my favorite hobby in life. I look forward to doing it every day while drinking a cup of chai tea. Create your own world and live in it through your imagination!
You've got that write! I'm writing a 9 part series, built up of 3 trilogies right now with a few tv scripts and two stand alone movie scripts in development. Not to mention 3 video games, a comic book and I'm working slowly towards opening my own production company after getting a few unrelated films made!!

Sabled Sun Signals V/VI are the most masterful, intense space-themed ambient tracks I've ever found.
A perfect backdrop for my new stellarnurserypunk novel which is actually just a nebula
this is perfect for reading some good thriller books
Absolutely amazing mix 👍❤️❤️❤️ And the artwork ist great. Perfect for a shirt 👌🖤
Hey cryo? Thanks for existing! Your uploads mean alot ❤️

With Moonfall coming out in a few months this is just what I needed to get into the right ambience. Cryo Chamber accompagns us through our journey in life.
Fast forward: how disappointing was MOONFALL...?!?!
@@2DOLLARRIP i could have told you it was going to suck. all of those movies suck. never executed right.
This is great. Has the same energy as the early 1970s Tangerine Dream albums.
saw this background on the blender subreddit, a pleasure as always
Only up for 3 days, and it already has 43k views. The Cryo Chamber (Dark Ambient) has become one of my favorite RUclips channels.
All the hallmarks of the movies like Event Horizon, Pandorum, Prometheus, Oblivion, Elysium, Europa Report, and Netflix episode "Beyond the Aquila Rift" [ Love, Death, Robots series] ( one of my favorites!!!) ALSO: Dune (1984), and Blade Runner (1982).
I would watch an entire show dedicated to Sonny's edge, Beyond the Aquila's rift, Fox Hunt and the one from the second season where no one gets old and having kids is forbidden.
This takes me back to the endless nights listening to Spacemusic with T.C. A Netherlands based podcast.
You had me at "Stellar Nurseries".
I've redecorated the nursery recently, this will go stellar as a soft background music.
Oof, that album art again
Cryo Chamber remains my favourite RUclips account that I'm subscribed to.
Damn 1 more hour for my sleep time
5:00 my God, it’s so good! I am enjoying every second of this video… music and art. Amazing!

Finally, some music for my fellow Molecular Clouds out there
This is absolutely beautiful and haunting. So glad YT recommended this.
As a molecular cloud from a stellar nursery, this is indeed what I listen to
great music, amazing artwork too. wish that were animated
Pretty good music to drown out the inner-chatter as I make mesh. Thanks!
Let’s all maintain a positive outlook in regards to a current situation or issue, Blessings to all . I m loving this
You really hit with this one
Tomorrow is a hope, a brighter future awaits us.
Do not despair, for you shall be a child of the stars and when you are you can explore the endless possibilities of space, time, and the fabric of space.
You need only to believe. Believe in yourself, believe in others, believe in a brighter tomorrow.
The Vast Expanse can wait for us, it has since they day we were born. Dont rush to see tomorrow, tomorrow will come regardless.
An empty planet where it’s patterns and characteristics tune on for the rest of eternity never to be witnessed...✨

perfect to put a baby star to sleep
The whole mix is just great, but Star Mist (44:35) is really outstanding. Incredible piece of music
Great dark ambient compilation!!
Keep going 👍
Absolutely brilliant. Perfect to listen to while reading or just chillin in your room
Good job, my friend. Excellent video and music, I really like space ambient music.

What a time to be a molecular cloud. gotta love it
Music for the Dark Gods. Perfect.
Absolutely incredible. I use your projects to write and I love every one of them. The ambiance continuously allows me to climb into the necessary headspace to get my work done. Thank you
That thumbnail impresses and scares me.
I’m glad I tried to play this before I actually laid down to go to sleep because having a commercial suddenly play at full volume means this video an absolute nope
nursing my ears too and my brain is in the clouds spaced out thnx
