Someone mentioned that Spleeter will not work with Intel chips. It used to work with my I7 for years and just this week, the program opens, but the display will now say "Error".

Just a few words to thank you for sharing Spleeter app. I was actually looking for an application allowing me to split tracks which I could later use both with BOSS RC-505MikII and DAW and stumbled on your video.
I first went into some ffmpeg configuration issues during installation telling me binary wasn't found, though I managed to solve the issue following your instruction. So I installed ffmpeg manually and just needed to add new System Environment path variable. I then reran the "spleeter separate..." code line with 4 stems params using Visual Studio Code (which I'm using for most Python codes) and everything worked really well. I used an mp3 version of Paul Shaffer Late Night w David Letterman theme sample, which is mainly instrumental, so I didn't need a vocal track which turned out to be empty. Both Hammond B3 organ and guitar parts ended up on same track. I was wondering if there was a way to re-split the generates .wav files or specify I don't need any vocal track. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. 😉👍

Can it separate two or more voices to different audio tracks?
Lets say an interview has been recorded on a single track but each speaker's voice levels are different. Can this tool understand each persons voice and extract it to its own?

I have a video file with voice and background music that I have added in Shotcut to create one file. I need to separate this background music while conserving the main file with video and voice. How can I do that in Spleeter? What is the filter file?

@@poweredbyowc I downloaded the DMG file MySpleeter20200904.dmg from github and installed the app in the usual way, and allowed in "security and privacy". Did this on mac pro 2010 and mac mini 2011 both running 10.13.6 (formatted in mac OS extended) On both, the app opened and crashed as soon as double-clicked. A large report "automatically sent to apple" was generated, but too techie for me to understand. I also installed on mac pro 2010 running 10.14.6 (formatted in APFS), and this time it did open. However, when I input the music file and the output folder, then pressed SEPARATE, it crashed too. Maybe the computers are too old and miss some feature needed. This sounds like a very useful app.

does anybody know of an open source project that can take audio and rescale the time without changing the pitch? every non-ML solution I've seen introduces a ton of distortion, seems like an ML-based approach could be a very good solution
