I just received my Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint foundation yesterday and couldn't wait to try it. I love it! It has enough coverage and looks so beautiful on the skin. I have old acne scars and large pores and texture and this looked so good like perfect skin!
The whole series is something I definitely don't need but desperately want :) I'm currently feeling all sorts of products with the "pearls in gel" formula. It looks amazing on you and your blouse is beautiful as well!
Thanks for mentioning the Zoeva 104. Currently loving the Chantecaille Future Skin Cushion but the expensive Japanese fude brush I thought would be perfect to apply it, was too darned small. I ordered this brush from Amazon and the next day and each day since, I've been enjoying it.
i have oily skin and wear the water tint and its actually fine. i just skip moisturiser, use a mattifying primer and set with the nikkia joy setting powder and it wears really well. im def glowier than other foundations but its not awful
@@PamperedWolf yep! You have to really set it and just dont expect it to be long wearing. It looks lovely and im glad i had it but i wouldnt repurchase tbh. Laura mercier tinted oil free moisturiser is much better for my skin ...and prob your mums :)

I don't even know if this is available already in Spain, but I'm a big fan of the Water tint and I'm glad you told us that you think this wouldn't sit well on a combination skin, because if not, I would probably be tempted to try it. What surprises me is the prize. I mean, the original Water tint here could be as much as 61€ in some shops like Chanel's website or El Corte Inglés (the most quality, luxurious and expensive mall in Spain), but you can find it at 49€ in big chains of parfums, makeup or cosmetics shops, like Arenal or Druni (our equivalents to Boots), and even still get some valid coupons for them. Last one I bought was 46€ (40£ or a little more than that). Even in Sephora you can sometimes use discounts for Chanel and get it at a fairly good prize, considering that almost any high-end foundation is over 40€ the bottle, the prize is similar to cheaper high-end foundation.

Definitely both a miss for me. At 74 the foundation situation is difficult and although heavy coverage doesn’t work, neither does barely there dewy ones, and the price!!!!!!! As for the blush, why such a huge bottle? Wouldn’t a smaller bottle with a smaller price make sense? We use so little blush that that oversized bottle seems to me counter intuitive
I had the same exact experience with the blush in the store, it looks so punchy but at home I didn’t feel the same. I got the light pink and am still figuring out how to beat appt it but am truly loving it! I have the water fresh and am so enjoying that as well! Great products!! Haven’t decided on the touch yet but after your review I just might have to.

These look & sound like very good products Gemma! You look as lovely as you always do here. I hadnt been on your channel for a bit while being ill as I'd sleep loads & hadn't even been on fb. My mom had to post for me I was still here for me. I've been quite ill w/my autoimmune diseases for 3 months straight! However, I'm finally getting stable again after 2 hospital stays, some med changes, loads of rest as I was told to be as calm as I could or another surgery was closing in on me otherwise. Been having physical therapy & MANY injections in my back to block some nerves from MS issues, steroids for Crohn's. Only good thing to come of it is a loss of 23lbs & down from a US 12 to a US 6 now. I need new clothes that fit me big time! I had switched out all my brushes as I do every 12mos & sponges & some cosmetics that were dated as well. These Chanel pieces look lovely & a simple way to get a healthy glow. It's been great to be able to still use my Current Body face & neck combo as well as my NuFace Mini & the FIX device for closer treatments for my eyes/smile lines/more lip definition. Couldn't in the hospital but I had packed my cleanser/serums & moisturizers as the hospital products are harsh. My nurses both stays were very interested in what I had & do w/it. Told them about you too & they all said they'd check your channel out. No one believed I am 49yrs! Had to remind them to check my ID bracelet. Lol So I still have many of my make-up varieties & always skincare (especially Tretinoin). Always makes me smile when they realized I really knew what I'm talking about & the research I do. I'd say if I'm to be ill out of my control then I can control how I self care. I think I deserve a splurge on some new makeup! My best always to you & the entire Wolfpack here. As someone with oily skin a huge pet peeve of mine is people who dont have oily skin who arent makeup artists who do makeup on other people for a living telling people with oily skin what we will/wont like. I find the more hydrating a base product is the more my skin likes it. Aside from the stinging sensation caused by the fragrance in the water fresh tint, that product worked amazingly well for me. I didn't keep it because of the stinging and I probably wont like this because of the coverage but I'm certain my skin would get along with the formula despite the entire world of people who dont have oily skin being convinced oily skin doesnt like hydration. I think you do a huge disservice to people with oily skin when you perpetuate the myth that hydrating products dont work for people with oily skin or that people with oily skin dont like them. I assure you, they do and we do.
That's not what I'm saying here Brian. Oily skin doesn't have an abundance of hydration, they have an abundance of oil. I can guarantee that 90% of the people I saw in clinic who said they had an oily skin, also had a dehydrated skin and therefore would benefit from products that would increase the hydration in their skin. My Mum has oily skin, and due to the tackiness that this product creates on the surface of the skin, mixed with her oils throughout the day, I don't think it would work for her. I don't state that this wouldn't work for ANYONE with oily skin...but it's my opinion that if you have oily skin you may have issues. x
Brian i totally agree. I have mature and very oily skin. For years even decades I shyed away from anything remotely moisturing on my skin but in my 50's I've recently discovered that the more I moisturise, the less natural oil develops. I dont even use powder now to fight the oil. I'm oily and I'm gonna try this for a natural light glow. 👍🤗

How does it compare with the no1 foundation? I have been loving that this winter and was planning on switching to water fresh tint for the summer but if this new one have more coverage, is it not the same as no1?
I have no 1 too and it's not the same at all..formula has that unique water droplets..feels lighter than no1.less coverage but enuf coverage..more undetectable on the skin..hth
This doesn't have a foundation consistency or weight. It melts into the skin completely. I love both the No1 and this one, but there's definitely a difference x

What dupes for this do you recommend? Btw the rose INC and Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals have PUFA oils in their formulation, which make the skin photosensitive. Chanel properly avoided that in this formulation 👏🏼👏🏼 I just bought this ✨ still curious what you think are similar foundations 🤓

I like the water fresh tint but in real, I would have like it if it give more coverage. So THIS seems perfect for my taste. Seems that is does cover 3 times more than the water fresh tint. I did not liked the Rose Inc. product as I find that it does noting. WIth this type of product I have tendency to put the product on my fingers and put it directly on ma face so I do loose less product as possible.

Hi Marianna and welcome. If you usually like the way a semi dewy foundation looks on your skin, I see no reason why you wouldn’t like this one. A bit of powder in the t-zone will help airbrush your pores a little. Do you use niacinamide?

Sounds super interesting! Did you wear sunscreen under it? How did it apply with sunscreen? The original one pills up when I wear my Elta MD sunscreen so they don't play well together 😐
I haven't but the Rose Inc tint says it only has sheer coverage, I'm guessing a little like the Original Chanel Water-Fresh Tint. The new Chanel has more coverage x
What kind of sunscreen did you wear underneath? For the blush, i tried blending it on the back of my hand first, but then before i can apply it on both cheeks, it's already dried and soaked into the skin on my hand 😓
My Daniel Sandler blushes are still going strong YEARS later. Superb product and probably half the price of Chanel. I have Cherub (my fave), Flush, and Chic. Which colors do you like?

Highly recommend to everyone the Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals foundation. It also has beads, but the ingredients are far superior to the Chanel one. It's skincare with pigment. I don't know why everyone went berserk over the Chanel beads, when the JI one has been around for years.
I've checked out the JI products on their website, but the finish looks a tad dry on the skin, perhaps I am wrong but am super conscious about the finish cuz i do have dry mature skin with pigmentation spots that j would love to slightly cover.
You said you could get a similar finish from other products instead of the skin tint. What are your suggestions for the similar products? Costs are high now, save us some money please.

Nope not just you I have returned too many Chanel foundations. I’m not buying anymore. No 1 was last straw. I don’t think my skin could have looked worse, bare faced was many times better.

Back to L'Oreal Tinted Serum for me 🤭 I work in a funeral home and need long lasting makeup that I can maybe touch up after lunch, but am curious about a non-cakey powder for midday t-zone shine, and under eyes too. I am almost 57 and powder is vicious under overhead lighting. Plus it's so awfully drying. I have used Laura Mercier translucent before but am curious about a few mentioned here. On Gemma's recommendations I managed to get my hands on nikkia joy cosmetics powder its so finely milled but I was lucky enough that I had family coming from Australia last week so I didn't have to do any shopping and then they gave it to me as a gift ❤️ its a lovely power. Oh by the way Gemma I did give you a shout out on Nikkia Joy's channel ❤️ 🤣 also pat mcgrath sublime under eye perfector is next on the list to try for under eye setting. I think the extra steps are key aren't they. My Mum didn't get on with it as it just slid off her oily skin x

That's not what I'm saying here Brian. Oily skin doesn't have an abundance of hydration, they have an abundance of oil. I can guarantee that 90% of the people I saw in clinic who said they had an oily skin, also had a dehydrated skin and therefore would benefit from products that would increase the hydration in their skin. My Mum has oily skin, and due to the tackiness that this product creates on the surface of the skin, mixed with her oils throughout the day, I don't think it would work for her. I don't state that this wouldn't work for ANYONE with oily skin...but it's my opinion that if you have oily skin you may have issues. x
Brian i totally agree. I have mature and very oily skin. For years even decades I shyed away from anything remotely moisturing on my skin but in my 50's I've recently discovered that the more I moisturise, the less natural oil develops. I dont even use powder now to fight the oil. I'm oily and I'm gonna try this for a natural light glow. 👍🤗

How does it compare with the no1 foundation? I have been loving that this winter and was planning on switching to water fresh tint for the summer but if this new one have more coverage, is it not the same as no1?

I have no 1 too and it's not the same at all..formula has that unique water droplets..feels lighter than no1.less coverage but enuf coverage..more undetectable on the skin..hth
This doesn't have a foundation consistency or weight. It melts into the skin completely. I love both the No1 and this one, but there's definitely a difference x

Btw the rose INC and Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals have PUFA oils in their formulation, which make the skin photosensitive.
Chanel properly avoided that in this formulation 👏🏼👏🏼

Enjoyed watching as normal. Watched another video about this and they said complexion touch is a concealer on the Chanel website its with the concealers. Not sure how well it would work with under eyes.

The blush looks lovely but I would love some closer swatch images of the blush 😍. Would like to see the colour and texture. Was there any radiance to the finish? Shimmer? I’m a mature ish lady and have a very dry skin.. my perfect blush would be a creamy dewy looking rose wood kind of shade.

I like the water fresh tint but in real, I would have like it if it give more coverage. So THIS seems perfect for my taste. Seems that is does cover 3 times more than the water fresh tint. I did not liked the Rose Inc. product as I find that it does noting. WIth this type of product I have tendency to put the product on my fingers and put it directly on ma face so I do loose less product as possible.

Hi Marianna and welcome. If you usually like the way a semi dewy foundation looks on your skin, I see no reason why you wouldn’t like this one. A bit of powder in the t-zone will help airbrush your pores a little. Do you use niacinamide?

I haven't but the Rose Inc tint says it only has sheer coverage, I'm guessing a little like the Original Chanel Water-Fresh Tint. The new Chanel has more coverage x

Highly recommend to everyone the Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals foundation. It also has beads, but the ingredients are far superior to the Chanel one. It's skincare with pigment. I don't know why everyone went berserk over the Chanel beads, when the JI one has been around for years.
I've checked out the JI products on their website, but the finish looks a tad dry on the skin, perhaps I am wrong but am super conscious about the finish cuz i do have dry mature skin with pigmentation spots that j would love to slightly cover.

Not off the shelf, but if you add a few drops of moisturiser into your regular foundation I’m sure you could achieve something that looks similar xxx

You do your normal skincare first, including spf, then apply like a foundation. X

Nope not just you I have returned too many Chanel foundations. I’m not buying anymore. No 1 was last straw. I don’t think my skin could have looked worse, bare faced was many times better.

I work in a funeral home and need long lasting makeup that I can maybe touch up after lunch, but am curious about a non-cakey powder for midday t-zone shine, and under eyes too. I am almost 57 and powder is vicious under overhead lighting. Plus it's so awfully drying.
I have used Laura Mercier translucent before but am curious about a few mentioned here.

On Gemma's recommendations I managed to get my hands on nikkia joy cosmetics powder its so finely milled but I was lucky enough that I had family coming from Australia last week so I didn't have to do any shopping and then they gave it to me as a gift ❤️ its a lovely power. Oh by the way Gemma I did give you a shout out on Nikkia Joy's channel ❤️ 🤣 also pat mcgrath sublime under eye perfector is next on the list to try for under eye setting.
