Thank you so much for doing this video. I was looking for a new shade in the Water Tint and was told by a Chanel US customer service rep that it had been discontinued. I've been frantically shopping foundations to try to find one as lightweight and sheer and have been losing my mind. If this product comes back, I will be buying backups. 💚

I haven’t been able to try the water fresh complexion touch, but out of all my Chanel foundations, I love the water fresh tint and the Ultra Le Teint foundation the most! N 1 de Chanel is really nice, but it is more of a fall/winter foundation to someone who has oily skin like myself. Les beiges was oxidizing and turning orangey on me that I ended up throwing it away 😣 It had too much perfume (for me) as well. But I love the No.1 , stays true to colour on me and is my perfect match, not too fragrant. Thank you for this in-depth review Angela, I have the water fresh tint and I love it. After watching this, I don’t think I need the new one 🌺😘

I've not tried the Complexion Touch, but based on this, I think I will stick with the Water Fresh Tint (and of course my beloved Vitalumiere Aqua)

Such a fantastic and thorough review! Loved it. I prefer to use the Water Fresh Tint all over my face and spot cover with the Complexion Touch. I wear the Chanel No 1 in the Winter. It is actually very complementary to my very dry, mature skin.

I have all the bases you show and my favourite is the water tint as it's so flattering leaving a wash of 'wellness' I also over the sheer healthy glow especially this time of the year as it plays so nicely over SPF again offering a very healthy look to my skin.

I’m very happy that Chanel made the Complexion Touch without added fragrance. However, I’m not as thrilled with the product as I expected. I think it’s gimmicky to have to break up the pigment etc. I am BR22 in other Chanel foundations. The B20 is ok but I think it’s warmer than I would like. The Les Beiges is better overall for me. Have not tried the #1 yet. Haven’t tried the Tint because of the fragrance. Thanks for the comparisons.
Great review! I love Chanel foundations. The undertones just work for me. I wear the Le Sublimage liquid one on date nights, and the water tint on casual days. I have very dry skin, both work on me very well. I was curious about new tint, but it sounds like it’s not for dry skin? Tried the Les Beiges healthy glow foundation, and it aggravated my skin! Made it burn. Glad it was a sample.
I use the complexion touch as its intended purpose (for concealer) and I love it. Since, I have dry mature under eyes this works very well as a base for hydration before my concealer. However, if i just want a light coverage I use it on its own. I love the fresh tint for beautiful natural skin! Thank you for the comparisons💜

The Les Beiges spf 30 was so oily on my dry skin that I actually threw it out. I love the Vitalumiere and the Healthy Fnd in the bottle. Great review, thanks!

I prefer Complexion Touch simply because it lacks the fragrance and bitter orange extract in the Water Fresh Tint. I much prefer fragrance free products for my sensitive skin. The fragrance in most Chanel foundations flares my rosacea. I hope this is the start of something new with them!
Sadly this does not work for me because I also have rosacea but when I tried it has a burning sensation and found out it has alcohol in it rosacea does not do well with alcohol which is sad because I loved how it looks on me
@@Dashomin Sorry Complexion Touch doesn’t work for you but there isn’t any alcohol in it. Your rosacea may not like the propanediol or jasmine extract in it. I can only use it occasionally because my rosacea doesn’t like propanediol. As it turns out I actually do better with the original Water Fresh Tint. Have you tried that one? I still don’t use that one routinely because of the fragrance though, just on occasion, and can get away with it once in awhile.

I saw Chanel classifies the water fresh complexion under foundation and under concealer as well. It would be interesting to see, if you try it, how it will look as concealer and then use for the rest of the face the water fresh tint. I wonder how the color match will work out as the light water fresh tint I think I lighter than the B10 water fresh complexion. If you try it I would love to see the results. I haven’t bought the water fresh complexion yet I only tried it out at the Chanel boutique the other day.

They colour all look visibly different! I am quite surprised! I took a sample of B10 in No. 1 and I was really surprised by how light it was. Thank you Angela for this lovely comparison video. Chanel hasn't got a bad foundation in their range imo - all beautiful formulas and textures. For people who can get a good colour match (I do think Chanel's colour range is limited in most foundations) you cannot beat Chanel for foundation.

Exactly the information i needed. Ive always loved Chanel foundations and think now i will try the water tint. So far the only one that disappointed me was the °1. While it was gorgeous when i first applied it, by the time id get where i was going it would be completely worn off😢. I surely could have tried a different primer for longevity, i didn't want to have to do that every time I wore it.
I love them both but did not know that the complexion touch was for concealing. I actually use it all over my face. I love the freshwater tint! Are there concealers as good as the water fresh tint for around the eye? Is there a concealer that is as natural and beautiful and light, and will not cause puffiness by Chanel?
Could you do a video where you show the new foundations to remplace old ones that aren't produced anymore? I like the complexion touch but the water fresh tint I like more. I also like the #1, the vitalumiere and the les beiges moisture tint / I hope they don’t discontinue that! The only thing I worry about with the water teint is that it is so watery that when I put it over my sunscreen, it must make it ineffective because of all the water. So then I try to mix it in my hand with another foundation and a little bit of sunscreen, but it doesn’t look quite the same so… I haven’t come up with the best solution yet
J’ai le water fresh, touche teinte , et teint belle mine, pour moi qui n’adore pas vraiment le maquillage j’aime beaucoup le l’eau de teint! Il est vraiment léger, transparent, lisse, légèrement glowy, unifié vraiment le teint. Pour l’instant il est en rupture de stock en Belgique. Je me suis procuré le touche de teint , il est déjà plus couvrant et moins facile à appliquer je trouve! Le teint belle mine est plus un fond de teint pour l’hiver, par contre le no 1 je me le suis pas encore procuré.
I love the Water Tint, I won’t be trying the Touch because the 10 shade is too deep. They keep messing with 10, it’s deeper and more yellow-orange than it used to be.

I find that I want to make sure the water-based tint doesn’t dilute my sunscreen, so I blend it very well on my hand first to take out most of the water, but then it ends up being pretty dry so I mix it into a foundation, and I still find that it looks beautiful. Does anyone else have a concern about affecting the sunscreen protection?
Hello, yes I do too :) I tried the Water Fresh tint over a water-resistant lotion sunscreen that my skin totally absorbed leaving a semi-matte finish but that affected the glow from the water fresh tint. So now I use my regular La Mer moisturising sunscreen which leaves my skin very glowy already then lightly sweep the water tint over my face making sure not to use too much pressure.

Finally tried the complexion touch, feel a little bit disappointed, I agree with those who said that it kills the magic of eau de teint, and the lightest shade (b10) imo is not a perfect match for those you used to wear eau de teint in light 🙈
I only ever tried the Les Beiges healthy glow foundation and it slided all over on my combo oily skin, it was too shiny and greasy on me and fragrance was very strong too so I had to give it away as we cannot return it in Europe.. I wish they stopped putting fragrance in makeup!
Hi Katarina :) The water fresh tint in Light will be the right shade for you. Medium light is too dark. There is a huge difference between light and medium light. So for you light will be the right shade. It's closer to Guerlain's 00N. xoxo
I like the complexion touch better. I use b12 and love it. I find tint to be too subtle .. and I like subtle. The tint caught on dry patches too. Sad if they discontinued tinted moisturizer! I have very dry skin and use it year round
Hi Dina :) All of these foundations have light to light medium coverage. For dark marks I would recommend using a concealer where needed. Or if you want a more high coverage foundation from Chanel you can try ULTRA LE TEINT Ultrawear All-Day foundation. This one had a solid medium coverage. xoxo

In the u.k. chanel dont do any foundations pale enough for me. I'm using a La Mer sheer tint 30spf.

So now I use my regular La Mer moisturising sunscreen which leaves my skin very glowy already then lightly sweep the water tint over my face making sure not to use too much pressure.

Girl I can’t seem to find my foundation $70. Might just make my own foundation.
Finally tried the complexion touch, feel a little bit disappointed, I agree with those who said that it kills the magic of eau de teint, and the lightest shade (b10) imo is not a perfect match for those you used to wear eau de teint in light 🙈
I only ever tried the Les Beiges healthy glow foundation and it slided all over on my combo oily skin, it was too shiny and greasy on me and fragrance was very strong too so I had to give it away as we cannot return it in Europe..
I wish they stopped putting fragrance in makeup!

Hi Katarina :) The water fresh tint in Light will be the right shade for you. Medium light is too dark. There is a huge difference between light and medium light. So for you light will be the right shade. It's closer to Guerlain's 00N. xoxo

I like the complexion touch better. I use b12 and love it. I find tint to be too subtle .. and I like subtle. The tint caught on dry patches too. Sad if they discontinued tinted moisturizer! I have very dry skin and use it year round

Hi Dina :) All of these foundations have light to light medium coverage. For dark marks I would recommend using a concealer where needed. Or if you want a more high coverage foundation from Chanel you can try ULTRA LE TEINT Ultrawear All-Day foundation. This one had a solid medium coverage. xoxo
