Freddie love your stuff - my wife loves you!! Not sure when you were in Scotland but I did the NC 500 for 10 days starting 4th June to And from the Cotswolds wait for it…..on a 35 year old YB100cc that has done 32000 miles on the original engine. Oh and I’m a 23 stone 70 year old!! I’m currently editing videos the first one comes out tomorrow. Weather for me was fantastic!
I love your channel cause it’s not all about the machines, it’s about a lifestyle, it’s about the people we meet and the places those machines, take us on this journey we call life.
Hi Freddie good evening. This is Sunil from New Delhi India. Love watching your videos. Wanted to buy Boneyville T100 in 2017 but due to unforeseen financial losses suffered in business, had to shelve the plans. Have booked RE Super Mateor in Feb and awaiting it's delivery. Happy Riding Himalayan
Great video. I was sitting on my arse watching, I hit the pause button, grabbed the triumphs keys and went for my own ride. So dare I say inspirational too! I’m now back to hit the play button. Thanks Mr Dobbs.
After my brother 'gave' me his almost new KZ900, he bought this. Back then, it seemed soooo smooth to ride. And, sooo futuristic. Yeah, I would believe, if asked back then, if it'd do 100k miles, absolutely. Thank you Freddie! Oh, my brother let me take this out one late night (as an older brother would, he threatened my life if anything happened while I was riding this! Lol, well, something did but I didn't tell him until years later, 😮). Like I said, late evening, wee small hours of the morning, I was the only one on a very wide and long and dark freeway, when I decided to test this thing, see what it felt like to go over 100 miles an hour on a bike. I was watching the Speedo climb over 100 and something, when I noticed I wasn't the only one on the freeway. What caught my attention, was red and blue flashing lights all around me, or so it seemed, I looked over my shoulder, about knocked me off the bike from the scare, was a motorcycle Highway Patrol. He was right on my shoulder! Man, I haven't thought about that for I don't know how long, sorry for all the comments Freddie.
Freddie, you should be with a major TV company! Your way of mixing riding and scenery in your editing is quite simply superb. I added a sub and am now working my way through your entire back catalogue of videos, they're all fantastic. Your ease of presentation is brilliant, AND you speak as a fellow biker, with very interesting tips and ideas. Thank you so much for all your content, keep up the great work. Ride safe mate
I thought I recognised Craig. (Scrambler AMS) My wife and I spent a week riding with him on Gran Canaria back in 2016. He's a really nice guy and a really good rider. Looks great accommodation and an interesting trip. 👍
Good start weatherwise. Great panniers on your RE. 95,000 miles on that Kawasaki. He obviouslyt cleans it. Only six hours of daylight sounds grim. 1990
The modified interceptor looks incredible. I’m new to Royal Enfield and recently moved away from sportsbikes to a ‘22 Continental GT 650, partly down to your review of the dux deluxe model 😊 loving it so far 👍🏼
Saltire is where I picked up my classic 350 a year ago, great place and a great bunch of guys. Always seem interested to show you around and the cafe is great for a biker lunch (or a good cup of tea).
Great one again Freddie. You made my day, sunshine, coffee by the backyard and on top your beautiful images with amazing sound track. Cheers from France
Your channel is blowing up! I always knew this would eventually happen as soon as I stumbled upon one of your videos nearly 3 months ago. Congrats on 100k (almost)

Saltire Motorcycles are great guys, my go to dealer in Edinburgh. Then it was like watching my sunday ride 😅you stopped at Powmill Milk Bar (a great biker stop) and back roads up to Perthshire. Glad you got the weather, great content Freddie, loving it 👌
Wow ! what a place to camp for your first night, it has inspired me to tour Scotland on my RE 500 Classic Trials machine next year, looking forward to seeing the rest of the tour....🙂
Great video of a great trip. I cant wait to see Scotland again, I love it up there. I'm off for my first ride with thd Widows sons on Sunday. Can't wait!
Beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset. Sound slike your loving the Himalayan in the absence of the Bonny, it's definitely right for the job up there in Scotland. Looking forward to see how much you fall in love with it and forget the Bonny, poor old thing 😀
@@FreddieDobbs I do find it disconcerting that you are still waiting for parts. Is this a British bike or shipped in and unpacked here? Something for a Tuesday discussion maybe 😄
Personally I'd rather hear the bikes than the music, particularly when it's piped at a somewhat higher level than the speech - makes me jump out of my seat when it starts 😎
What a fantastic overnight stop (helped by the beautiful weather of course 😎) and I’m very much looking forward to the rest of this trip and seeing how you feel about the Himalayan. I keep getting tempted to add one to my stable as a lightweight fun green lanes bike 👍
Those custom Royal Enfield Interceptor scramblers are amazing! I've been planning to get an interceptor to customize similar to that, looks like great fun
Great video Freddie! That has to be the best bike dealer I have ever seen. I really like Edinburg and I had the same impression regarding the Scottish architecture when I was over there. Enjoy the adventure 👍🏻👍🏻
Re touring Hi Freddie I’ve just got back in the saddle after a big smash 10 years ago. Bought a Street Twin 900 to get me back into riding. I live in U.K. but have a house in central Portugal ( oh those roads ) . I’m very tempted to buy the new Triumph 400 Scrambler as I would like to hit the roads in Africa via Morocco . I’m thinking smaller would be better on questionable roads/tracks . I’m no Itchy Boots but will give it a go. Thanks for your podcast and the way you present despite the seagulls 😂😂😂😂😂
Saltire Motorcycles looks like an awesome shop. I'd just like to point out the spectacular Chevy step side truck they had there in the showroom. We don't see too many of those anymore.
Wouldn't have ever bought bikes without your Recommendations buddy. I own 3 now, Z650RS, SUPERMETEOR 650 AND a YEZDI ROADSTER. Next is a Triumph Street Twin 900.
Absolutely amazing ,so glad the weather is being kind. I ordered a Classic 350 from Saltire and collect in a couple of weeks. Your video helped my decision. Saltire Motorcycles looks amazing. Can't wait to follow the rest of your Scottish adventure.
Picking up a Classic 350 from Saltire will be a superb experience- I could spend hours wondering around there👌🏻🙂 Have a brilliant pick up day- I can imagine you’re counting down the hours!
I'll be visiting the UK in 2025 and Scotland is high on the agenda along with IOM TT .. I always enjoy your videos Freddie, you have great skills with the camera and a good attitude to life. Enjoy your weekend!
Freddie, you missed the Celeste Triumph Herald convertible in the car park! The trip looks like a splendid way to spend a few days, hope the weather keeps up
What an awesome video. What an amazing place and journey. I am jealous. Though I must admire that beautiful Kawasaki. I can’t believe, with your love for old cars, that you didn’t make any mention of that fabulous old Triumph Herald parked behind the Kwacker.
What beautiful country in the sunshine. So glad you got the bike sorted out. The Himalaya is much more accommodating than your Pops bicycle😁. Looking at those hard panniers it is set up perfectly for this type of adventure.
After seeing this, I think you should ride the tunnels between the Faroe Islands! Or a Scottish island tour. It would be amazing to watch and I think you’d enjoy it!
