👍👍👍 .. nice 😊. The Fancy Feast works! I prefer a separate cup with my brew kit. A SS Insulated Mug with a Drinking Lid and folding Butterfly Handles (cold weather) or either an Insulated Plastic Mug (cooler temps) or Single Wall Plastic Mug (warmer temps) that I can clip onto the outside of my pack. Sometimes, instead of using a small pot or mug in which to boil my water, I use a 500ml Aluminium Trangia knock-off Kettle. 400ml is a more practical capacity and it holds easily, with accessories, a Fancy Feast / White Box Stove / Soda Can Burner and Folding Tripod. Coffee. For simplicity, two teaspoons of Instant from the Kitchen Coffee Jar plus two pinches of salt to remove the bitter, into a tiny plastic zip-bag makes for one serving. Black .. no sugar. Yep .. 'brew kits' .. as varied as one's imagination will stretch 😁. Thanks for sharing .. take care ..
Very similar to mine, it seems that we think the same about the idea of having a smaller kit for short trips where you only need to have a hot coffee with some pocket snack or sandwich. I did it with the Toaks 450ml UL that weighs 60g. I liked the idea of your insulator under the Fancy Feast, I'm going to copy it for mine until I find a very light lid that serves as a preheating container. If it helps you, I made a 10cm cord with carbon felt that is used for the wick of the Fancy Feast and I use it as a wick to safely light the fire and not waste gas in the Bic lighter. Thanks for your ideas.
200ml titanium cup with lid from boundless voyage is perfect I don't boil with it just use it as a cup although it works well with esbit titanium wing stove
If you think about it, Folger's instant coffee sachets are for 6-8 oz of water, so you could put several in there to make it more useful. I use them often and they work just fine for a quick brew. Nice little kit there. I bought a few things that I'm putting together for a full cook and brew kit that will all fit in my waist bag instead of having to drag out an entire backpack just for a lunch hike 😂 I took some inspiration from one of your kits.
