Very nice presentation,but you made a fatal mistake in the beginning.Actually the Europeans-mainly the brits-thought that Oman and muscat were distinct geographically,but for the Omanis they were geographically One entity.(Oman).
Trucial states or emirates, not usually "Trucial Oman"
It was also called trucial Oman
