Hi Steve..picked my new Corsair up 2 weeks ago..your video is a godsend..this vehicle is soo technically advanced it's a bit intimidating..you showed how easy the technology really is to use..even for an old guy like me..thank you for the outstanding presentation..
Hey Randy! I really appreciate that feedback. Glad that you learned a thing or two from the video. The Corsair is an incredible vehicle so I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for the kind words! And you're welcome... glad the video helped! Let me know if there's anything on the car I missed that you want to see in a future video
Thanks Steve - I made an appointment with the dealer to take the car in. I'm enjoying it and still learning the many functionalities. Again, you video was a major help. I will look at it again. Thanks
Really liked the comprehensive explanation of the car, thanks Steve! I have reserved a 22 Corsair (Silver exterior, cashew interior). Expected by March. Can't wait!!
The most extensive tutorial I have ever seen...We have a 2019 MKZ and even the class we went to was not so knowable...I have learned about my 2019...I just subscribed and will share to others...continued success...
Thank you so much for this demonstration! I just purchased the same exact car, except it's the 2021 model, and will use this demonstration along with the owner's manual. Well done!
You're welcome, glad the video is helping! Here's a link to the 2021 model walkaround - ruclips.net/video/zM89Cymvhzs/видео.html Hope that you enjoy the new ride!
Thank you so much. I just bought the 2021 Corsair, I had a Lincoln MKC 2017. What a difference. It is so peppy. Thanks for your review I took notes and now going to go to my car and take some of your suggestions. Will you do a review of the 2021?
Glad you liked the video James! It's such a peppy car. Had a guy originally wanting the 2.3L until he tried the 2.0 and was blown away by the power. Will definitely be doing a review of the 2021 when we start to see them up here! Should be sometime in the next month or so
Hi Steve, this is an excellent overview of Corsair. One thing that I need clarity on is the overhead light on the driver's side. The light in my car constantly comes on and off without me doing anything. I will check the button you mentioned allowing the light to come on when entering the vehicle, but is this normal? I had planned to talk with my service department representative about it. Thanks again for an excellent presentation.
Thanks! Bit of a throwback with how old this one is haha. The light shouldn't constantly come on without a door being open or the overhead light actually turned on. There could be something up with the wiring, fuse or module if that's happening
We have been subs since 2021 when we bought our 2021 Nautilus . We did a thing last weekend and picked up a 2023 Tremor and a used 2020 Corsair. You have been an excellent resource and we value your content! Is there a way to determine if the Tremor has the onboard scale? Thanks
Thanks Bill, great to know that the videos are still helping! Exciting about the Tremor and Corsair too, how are you liking them so far? For the onboard scales, it would be in the features section of the Sync 4 screen. If that option isn't showing it's unfortunately not in the truck
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. I try to stay away from music while I’m shooting these videos but classical would sound great on this sound system
@@redpilledbachelor7776 Getting that package installed after you've purchased one without it would be a nightmare. Front sensors would have to get added in, screen would need to be updated to support the 360 camera, sensors in the wheels would need to be added... I'd have to check with the shop to see if it's possible but assuming it is I'd guess adding it after market would be somewhere in the $8k - $10k range. The biggest cost would be the man hours to install the necessary components/wiring
I know there are some Asia specific builds/options that we can't get in the North American market for the Corsair. Ford pulling out of the market was most likely tied to profitability - while Ford vehicles were well received... the market in Japan and Indonesia saw the vehicles as a bit too large and not as fuel efficient as they would have liked Ford could look at creating a lineup more in line with the tastes and wants of the market but strictly importing North American models wasn't the right strategy
Of course! It's fairly straight forward.. when you want to get a bit more of a kick from the car you can simply press the "-" (minus) shifter on the left to force the vehicle to drop down a gear. It'll rev the engine up and give you more power when you put your foot down. Think of the paddle shifters like driving a vehicle with a manual transmission!
That's a great question! As of right now Lincoln is just starting to make the move towards hybrid with the new 2020 Aviator Grand Touring. I'd say we would probably see a hybrid or full electric is the cross over SUV's within the next 2 - 4 years at this rate
Hi Lidya, congrats on your purchase! The trunk shade that you're looking for is an accessory available at time of purchase or after market. In the Corsair it's called the Rear Removable Package Tray. Any Ford or Lincoln dealer should be able to order it in and there are some 3rd parties that sell it! The part number is LJ7Z-7846668-AA
@@CarsWithSteve thank you Steve ... appreciate it .. I do have another about my trunk , could we set up the height of the trunk so when I lift it up, it will be high enough for my height ? Thank Youuuuu
A bit different between US version Corsair and China Version, I feel the colors are much better in US like blue and red but China version has a extremely large screen (12.8 inch) 🤣🤣, I ordered on Oct 30 and need one month and more to get it
Wow that is a difference! I really like the look of the larger screen in the Chinese version of the Corsair. Those color choices are really nice as well. What color Corsair did you go with? 2.0L or the 2.3L?
