I feel like if a Dick Tracy cartoon nowdays would look like, It’d be rated TV-MA because Dick Tracy in the comics were brutal during the first few decades

The 1960s cartoon was just this one weird-ass one-off adaptation. One time I found a blog post written by someone who said he met the people who were involved in its production, and all of them admitted that not even they knew what they were thinking when they made it.

Basically everything associated with the character, except for maybe the first two decades of the actual comic, is completely terrible.
