  • My guitar playing through out the years, yesterday and today.
In this video caption I’m performing with Bob Marley & The Wailers and The Original Wailers, my own group. I used videos and photos from my personal archive and other public resources.

    Mr Anderson,
We shook hands one day in Nighttown Rotterdam, and the day after watching you play,
I could play along with Bob, Peter, Bunny & The Wailers.
My greatest gift I still enjoy today as much as 20 years ago and I am still
proud and honored today that I shook hands with the most trustworthy Wailer
and person Bob & Peter had the honor of working with.
Keep playing and keep saving lives.
    Thanks brother Al,
    David
For anyone reading my comment and who doesn't know so much about Mr Anderson:
Mr Anderson is the leadguitar player on the famous Live! album
best know for its live version of No Woman, No Cry.
If you take a good look, he has his picture on the album.
But also the original session player on the whole Natty Dread album.
So HE made Bob Marley more famous.
His own contribution to and with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and music in general,
makes him a living Legend who we all can still enjoy in our car, our house, at parties and concerts.
This man and every other musician who had part in the band ''Bob Marley The Wailers''
deserves a place in The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and the royalties and much more the RESPECT.
I believe if you have over 2500000 people WAILING about it on
Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, it will make some people willing to listen and react.
Nowadays people seem to excuse themselves for having a history being part in the slave trading compagnies.
So if Mister Whitewell has any dignity and humanity left inside of him, after reading this,
he should be weeping and wailing, (tonight)
''Get up, stand up, dumb deaf and blind cripple'' - Peter Tosh (Captured Live & Dread August 22, 1983)
''It takes a revolution, to make a solution'' - Bob Marley & The Wailers (from the Natty Dread album: Revolution)
    Peace & justice to everyone.

This is a wonderful collection Al. I remember talking to you back in Montclair while you were home and I was home from overseas and you told me that the business was dog eat dog, but you came through it all and made beautiful music.

I've been playing blues and rock for years and never really listened to Reggae as an adult. Since my son was born, I've been exploring Reggae again (as it's what I grew up listening to) and was shocked to hear lots of lead licks and riffs I know and love. I'm having so much fun learning about Reggae and digging into the back catalogs. Thank you for blessing the guitar with these beautiful tones! ❤🇯🇲

Respect. By the way, did you know that you and I are the "historic" only two American born musicians featured in the "historic" - "Best in Classic Reggae Concerts Online Reggae Strong" NeuLion compilation in the Canadian Jump TV Reggae Strong Volume 4 ? We had the honor and distinction of being featured in the same with Black Uhuru, Bob Marley and your honorable self... the Wailers, Maxi Priest, Moja Nya, Third World, and others. Yours truly performed and arranged the keyboards you hear on Moja Nya's landmark hit single called "Rise Up". Would love to share my copy and experiences with you. Even more so, would love to fellowship and create something righteous with you. Respect always and in all ways, strength and well-being to you. Selah
