I can’t speak for the very brave man in this video, but I’m going two months after my own Jaw surgery and there’s actually no pain! Unless you count emotional and mental pain then yes. Lots of patience. But they stretch your mouth so much, hence the major swelling, that your nerves are like broken? So you’re completely numb for a few months! Just super tight and uncomfortable, but luckily close to no pain.

So I've watched this before and I read that he had a medical issue with his Jaw bone which made it difficult for him to move his jaw. He didn't necessarily do it for the looks. Also even if he did do it for the looks, I think it's okay because he is happy with it so no one should judge him.
I mean if its for the looks, exercise is cheaper than surgery

I had the same surgery and it definitely wasn't for cosmetic purposes. Having a recessed jaw leads to many problems with chewing, speaking, and can be very painful.

@@CKore_ They cut the space right next to the lower chin and insert a small tube that is used to remove small amounts of fat from that area. I'm sorry I wasn't considering people with situations like yours when I wrote my comment

I had the same surgery when I was 18. Basically, my lower jaw was sliced and moved forward, my chin bone sliced and moved up and forward, my maxilla was cut and moved upward, some septoplasty was done due to all the moving things around, and my wisdom teeth were removed at the same time. It was brutal. I was in the ICU for two days after surgery. I lost 24 lbs in one week because I couldn't eat. It was a horrendous recovery. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I got good results, but I would never try to sell anyone on it.
@H4el • 12 years ago well, I was under full anesthesia for the surgery, so it's not that it hurt, but of course afterwards there is a ton of swelling and the healing process is very long. I was on a liquid diet for 6 weeks and it was miserable. I was very sore and weak. I dropped 12 lbs first week after surgery (which is never good to lose weight rapidly). So, no not quite painful, but just very rough.

I had the same surgery bcs when both jaws are not enough foware, you can't breath, your teath can't get the proper position, your tongue don't have enough place, you will die at 40 bcs you can't sleep bcs you can't breath.

Thankfully with a great dentist ( suposably not all dentists do this kind of procedure) and braces I was able to not go through that surgerie! It's still a bit painful but surely not as much

The thing behind mewing is something evolutionary. Its true that you can change bone structure trough lifestyle but it doesnt take months. It takes either decades or generations. Everything you se ein the internet is fake like even this doctor mew showed his results but its fake he clearly did a surgery on himself. The other ones eithe rlost much fat to look like that which actually works or they got into adolescent which resulted in them getting a jawline and they might think it wa smewing but it was just zheir genetics bruv. Losing fat does work alot although if your a body builder its harder because you dont want a calorie deficit. I somehow did both and it worked out my jawline was so bad and my body skinny and all i looked almost like a snake because of my neck looked like it was directly connected to my chin but somehow trough training i lost much fat but also ganed muscle at the same time i look perfect now idk how it might be because i was one of those who got pretty late into puberty for me it started like when i was 16 while others at the age of 13 and now im 21 and dayum when i compare myself to how i was before i dont recognize it although i just started changin my lifestyle since i was 19. And if smb like me with extrem bad genetics at almost everything reached smth almost impossible i think anyone can do it. But not trough MEWING. change your lifestyle. Sleep exact 8 hours at night like 10 pm or 11 not 1 or 2 am. Dont eat sugar. The only drinks are coffee and water. No chips no sweets or anything only black bread instead of white bread. High protein high fiber and carbs meals only. Train with no excuses 3 split with one rest day in between (never forget legs -> more testosteron -> more muscle -> loose fat). What does work is training your jaw muscles this is indeed something thats for sure but be careful dont train it too hard or you will end up destroying it. Train ur jaw by jewing gum like falim but only once every second day so the jaw can relax one day. This is what i did and it worked out in a very short time (6 months of training almost every day / healthy lifestyle for 2 years)

It could be an overbite or underbite (I can’t tell honestly). Even if it isn’t, there could be more underlying problems or it’s just for cosmetic purposes, either is a good reason to get the surgery. Hell, my jaw is misaligned so being able to fix yours naturally with exercises seems like a blessing to me lol
