Ichiro has a “legendary” arm that’s why there’s the faster throws in. Same as Roy Halladay having a 2 seam that’s legendary and does the yellow beam animation
You have to tap A or X when running to first base for more speed USE YOUR TURBO MORE!! To earn turbo throw it in their hotspots!! When the ring to catch the ball is green press A or X to make a legendary catch and fill your meter USE THE DAMN STICKS TO AIM
Players with automatic no doubters are the best players in the game. I can’t remember all of them but I know Dereck Lee, pat burrell, and Bobby abreu all have it. You aim the left stick UP! And you use circle and it will work
I don't know if you have played it yet, but you should definitely try Triple Play Baseball 2001! It doesnt look great, but it has a legendary Home Run Derby mode and there is a really fun cheat code team to mess around it! Plus I remember the soundtrack being pretty good!
The aim your swing works like mvp 05 where the left stick aims where the ball goes if you time your swing correctly. It's not like the pci in the show. Mix that in with contact and power swing depending on ur players stats and ull hit a lot better (and can avoid legendary fielders)

kevin fyi, the legend stat is what allows guys to throw the ball really hard n get that yellow thing u was asking about, u need to have the throwing star at legend.

Aim your hits and try to use turbo boost in their hitzone to make it smaller by the end of the game
