Hey Moglets, today in Arknights we're going over my F2P account I started about a week ago and seeing how it has progressed versus my main account.

Two things to point out:
1. People generally recommend 2 trading posts and 4 factories. Mostly because it's more sanity efficient to produce XP cards than it is to produce cash, but on the other hand you can only farm LMD every other day. That ends up being the recommended build for a balanced production.
2. Staff your command center! Each person you place there, on top of the bonus they grant, also gives a global 5% morale cost reduction. With 5 operators in there, you have a 25% cost reduction! With the 10% cost reduction from staffing three people in a factory, that means a full morale bar will last you nearly 37 hours instead of 24 hours.
E1 lappland is so much better than e1 silverash. Elite 1 her moga!
E1 silverash is a frontliner which is really good

I mean, E1 makes SilverAsh very tanky + self-sustain.... Infinite duration and only 5 second cooldown to toggle it...

if you want to use SilverAsh effectively, make good use of his range, hide him behind a Defender and he will help a great deal with reducing pressure on your tank. Even then, I have used him to block off lanes that would normaly require a Defender all by himself and a healer, so even tho he truly shines at E2, he is still really good at E1

using primes for sanity as a f2p is a bad advice, unless they dont care about costumes, and tbh even if they dont id still prefer it for gacha currencies.
@@mendics it seems everyones divided between gacha currency and sanity for OP. some recommend refill to farm mats, some recommend buying the advanced lvl up packs for orundum. and each seem to be advising against the other, so its subjective at this point.
@@JohnSmith-hv6ks well, in my opinion since this game only have PvE.. its fine wheter they spend for gacha or sanity.. coz we arent race against other player here, so its fine..
yeah raising lower rarity early helps alot for smooth progression
You should buy the enhancement packs, because the materials in it are usually worth almost the same sanity-wise as farming with refreshes and you get Orundum equivalent to converting Originite Prime.

You gotta raise lappland, she is honestly such a great unit, I have her as my only rare guard (I used to use melantha a lot) and she’s great when e1 and placed behind a defender.
i spent my primes as well but it was not a beginner mistake i was just fed up with getting only dupes of my 5 stars and in anger dumped all my originites and got myself a dupe hoshi :')
I do have an alt with Exusiai and SiverAsh, and in my experience, SilverAsh is just ok at E1. He's a range guard/tank at E1 but that's about it.
Needless to say, of course your alt is progressing better than your main, you've got a lot more experience playing the game on your alt than your main after all.

Same thing happened to me. 8 days in, my "alt account" which already had Siege and Ifrit, became my main...when I pulled Saria AND Exusiai from the banner 10-pull. At that point, my main account had pretty much every great 5, but only Shining and Skadi (both of whom are barely even an upgrade from more common options). I will gladly take Siege, Ifrit, Saria, and Exusiai - ALL of whom are the absolute undisputed best in their category - and build whatever comes from that. I have no interest in my original account anymore, despite the tiny bit of money I spent on it.
Its also worth mentioning that I believe 100% everyone should take Silence as the "free 5". Liskarm is a great toon, but Cuora is more than able to do any job needed of a defender, and every job Red can do, can be done by one of several 4s (I prefer Vigna, because it is a net DP gain). Silence is the only offered "free 5" that is in the top of her category, and for good reason. She makes so many boards that would require two healers possible with only one.
I got the opposite. I thought that I would progress faster since I made many mistakes (like focusing on upgrading one unit, upgrading to max lvl then switching to a 3 star to E1) on my main, but I'm actually progressing slower on my alt where I'm leveling only 12 units. I haven't even used my 5 star ticket on my main and have not used my 6 star angelina meanwhile my sub has both eyjafjalla and shining but got stuck very early on. lol

I don't see why anyone would regret spending OP if they got saria and siege (shining is a nice bonus, but frankly I would outright choose Silence if I had to pick one). I saw a guy complaining that he had no originum left, after doing 80 pulls...but he got four 6s and NINE 5s from those 80 pulls. All I could think is; what would you have wanted to save your currency for exactly?? The point of the game is getting toons, not banking currency.
As I see it, the math is simple - you are one week in as F2P, and you have two of the 4-5 most OP toons available in the game. And Ejufalla and Silver are only broken at E2, so really to start the game the two best toons you could possibly have for E1 are Saria and Siege. Those two toons alone will make all current content completely done.
I made newbie mistakes too, like leveling every single unit I have to max lvl and a lots to E1. My base however is build the rights way cause I read the guide but when it comes to LMD and other resources....I've wastes so much I could probably have 2 E2's by now lmao. Not that it matter tho since E2 right now is more about making the current content basically brain-dead easy.
Always e2 your waifus first for the e2 art. No need to meta game since you won't need e2 for anything. However, please change your base to 2 trading posts 4 factories and 3 power plants. (243) 3 trading posts is overkill and you will run out of gold meta game your base please
I started the game as f2p when the game launched 2 weeks ago, cleared all content already now just waiting for new event wich will be very nice for getting mats
For your base, you really only need 1 factory and 1 trading post lvl 3, the others get access to the lvl 3 stuff
What would you say: I was wondering. How is the system behind it recognizing your account. As one per chosen registration like Facebook and one on Twitter or the IP you share at home or device plus IP. Because I was wondering if I use my first account and rolled on a banner and got for example Hoshiguma there, do I still have the same chance of getting her an my second account or is it now reduced because I already got her on account A. This is something I really would like to know because I don't want to jinx my real main account I already invested money into. The device makes the roll, this means the app does the rng calc and then pings the servers within the next step is the system matching this roll exclusively to this very account lets call it A or to both A & B because of the same device or IP?
If you r a whale then refreshing sanity is cool, but too heavy on the wallet. If you r f2p then with new events you will get originite from maps, might not be a lot, but you can still get some.
Moga, I think as long as you end up using the mats from the level-up primes packs you'll save stamina in the long run since you wont have to waist stamina farming story stages and some of them give decent lmd which is worth a decent bit of stamina.
I'm still very new...only Lv19 and f2p. Fun game so far! Do the increased DP costs from upgrading units to E1 affect you and/or your auto runs in any way? I know it's only beneficial, I just want to make sure I E1 my units in an optimal order.

My alt is also destroying my main, did some refills to stave off my need to summon and my guaranteed 6* 10 pull gave me shining, exu, Texas, and Skyfire. do pretty dang good so far.
so.. i am new. played for 10 days now, and i am lv 34 currently. so, this is 2 years late, but you were lv 44 in a week. am i doing it wrong?

I've only been playing for 8 days and have already hit those benchmarks as well. Ptobably could have been 6 or 7 days but I made a few common noob mistakes and leveled the wrong characters as well as wasted a bunch of sanity on failed missions.
Todd Boward you only lose one sanity if you fail the mission.
I'd advice you to not E2 Saria yet. Focus on E2ing Dps and leave tanks and healers for later. Using originite to refresh is not ideal for a F2P account. There is no rush so don't waste premium currency

@@Mogawty Doesn't really matter tbh. I always e2 my favourite char first. I'm a complete f2p players and is still doing fine with e2ing deepcolor first because I like her e2 art lol. Cleared all stages except chapter 4 challenge mode . And i only have 1 6* which is exu, i love her thogh
How is it not ideal? Originite is best use for refresh. Makes your unit stronger so you can farm the harder contents better. Skins are just cometics and won't make you stronger.

How do you even progressed that fast? Even tho you didnt spend any primes for Sanity, you didnt event buy Premium Enhancement Pack.
I played since Day 3, and only still Lv.38.
You're on the same level as me but I started at Day 1. It took a while for me to finally drain my Stamina for it to regen while I'm not playing since I keep leveling up. I guess that's how other players progressed much faster. Should've played a lot more in the beginning
I am a low spender (bought monthly pack), level 56 atm, got 7 6stars, 4 of them is e2.

wait until they release the new event and chapter 5 you will be forced to buy the premium currency to farm faster unless you like waiting months to clear one stage

I mean this comment is probably really late already but I've been progressing 2 accounts too and my sub account does catch up or even surpasses my main account on some content, I guess it's more like knowing what to do already to be efficient compared to just starting from the beginning without any knowledge of the game

how are you lvl 44 when u didnt even start on release. Ive started on release with a couple of buddies and we range from 40-42 o_o .
Having also done this. It seems I had wasted a bunch of Originite on summons. This time they've all gone to refills. 1 refill + Level up is usually enough to reach next level. Eventually it'll be 2 refills. Either way. Can easily gain 5-10 levels a day with a ton of farming

It's funny if i had not stopped progress at chapter 2 and gotten knoledge about the game i also would have blowed through all my prime.
Turn 1 tarading post to factory better，cause 1 factoey+1Trading post=LMD while 1 factory= （nearly the same sanity cost）EXP.
The more you farm，the least trading post you should have in theory.Just leave one to consume the gold，or two if you dont have enough factory stuff

i was playing 2 accounts from the get go. A side acc where i only grabbed the weekly orondum and quests + spend daily energy only on money + exp stages. Close to no story, didnt even finish ep 1.
Now i made that my main cus i got top operator tag on it and with close to no spending anything 3 6stars and way better luck in general. Kinda sad so i know ur problem.

idk how you advanced this fast, i'm only level 36 and i started like 2+ weeks ago lol i never have enough drill records to boost my characters :[ i've been trying to upgrade my base so i can speed up production but it's slow going on F2P, not enough sanity to farm building materials. not to mention i don't have enough units that specialize in factories to fill them out.
Having your base optimized is pretty important to getting things done fast
as someone who only play 1 account..im really slow...lol 1 week passed im still at chap2
My silverash is benched too, sure he's good at e1 but there are just better operators for what he does... Excited for his e2 though

I use him on my main team and I cannot find a guard to replace him. His range is too good to pass up for me since I occasionally have a sneaky drone pass my kokoyo and jessica. Plus his damage is insane. One of my best damage dealers as well with lev 5 skill.

I've tried to make a second account rerolling till I get Siege, but every time I get her the account just feels so lackluster so I've admittedly kinda given up on that. On the other hand every time I got the 6* healer (I keep wanting to say Silence but I know it's not her) I get an account that I love, but it doesn't have Siege so I keep rerolling.
Wanted Siege too but an account with SilverAsh + Hoshiguma is just too good to pass up

You didn't refill sanity, did you? I started on day 3 or so, and I'm 30+. That's normal if you play without using the premium currency.
The thing I just don't understand between f2p and whale is the rare units Cost More DP!!!? What?!! That makes no sense! And because of that cost There are many many situations early on in a level where they cannot be used because I need every DP point I can get just to get blockers up. This is also true for E1 and E2?!!! WTF???? I guess I will be permanently using starter units to, you know, START levels where DP is tight. So bizarre, units get worse if you E1 them.
that is actually a great system all what u need to do is start with vanguard and then transition to higher dp cost units it will be dump if you can just summon all the op units from the get go
@@idonargesy8197 I think you misunderstood. Even though I have some overpowered units, I can't ever use them in stages were DP is very tight. Also a lot of the time I never use Silence because I can deploy a 3 star healer a little faster. Even though Silence is much better, she is too late and my units die. It's a situation where the OP units show up only after everyone is dead. It's stupid.
i dont think you are using the right vanguards, just scavenger/texas and vigna/plume will give you enough dp
I love it when newbies complain that they cant use their all 5* team. Get gud
Bro I understand your pain but you need to be flexible. I have silver and Texas, two aoes and all of my ops are E1. In other words very DP demanding yet I rarely change anything around. Gotta got your vanguards in there as soon as possible to get DP boost. Leveling up units helps a lot in terms of survivability.

Stupid question but beyond the mail in cookies, and the energy potions, are there other sanity refreshes that come for free for a F2P player?

As far as I remember only 100 sanity refresh from dailies (ok weeklies, you got the idea)

Thanks guys, at 3:00 minutes into the video he mentions has 7 full days of 10 energy refreshes, and that's what triggered the question, I wondered if there were energy refreshes I'm missing, or if he's referring to spending the currency to get those energy refreshes

also might be a bad time to mention it with how much time you spent moving it all around, but from my understanding a 333 base, 3 trading posts, factories and power plants, is considered a meme set up because its extremely inefficient. the general setup from what I've seen is 2 trading posts, 4 factories, and 3 power plants, or even 2 5 2 but that one isn't sustainable, its more for pushing out materials as fast as possible before transitioning into the 243

@@cell2711 It would've been a waste of resources, ultimately he would've needed to get rid of it for something else. But downgrading the dorm means basically nothing
@@Nezxmi since he wanted to reorganize his base to look better, getting that 4th power plant built FIRST, THEN removing the middle power plant, would've saved him from downgrading the dorm

And seige is really good vanguard on e1
Not saying the characters are shit, but they are all mid-late game characters that shine at e2, especially angelina
@@phtop1 ye seige is nice on e1 with her skill but she costs too much without her e2 talent that offsets the 14dp needed to deploy her compared to all other vanguards that generally cost abt 10dp
I wanted to like this game but the gameplay is bland, sanity is f***ing annoying and honestly there is no real tangible meaning to the rewards I receive as time passes just more resources to trade in. But here to drop my like despite how bad this game is in my opinion.

Ok so technically FTP just means u don't spend money. But then people expect you to be guarded with the One premium currency you can't get more of. Do you use it for summons... A finite resource. Or costumes which are limited. No. You use it for stamina refills. An unlimited albeit timekept resource. Its the worst thing to spend primes on cos you only have 80 or so in the entire game. That's why it's poor FTP behaviour. I don't understand why you don't understand that.
Ftp means not spending money dumbfuck. Whatever else he does is his choice
now that i think about it how will i farm prime when i complete everything
