This guide is still relevant in 2022. I'm a newer player and I've watched so many guides, but couldn't get past 375 kills even with strong ops like E1 Mountain and Siege. The explanations on levels and the timing finally made it possible for me. Thank you so much!
What I love about this guide the most is the briefing about each character and their propose As a new player who hasn't necessarily invested in lower rarity units, it helped me make educated substitutes using ops I _have_ levelled
Tips for myself: -Redeploying/Retreating Rope at the correct time is really important. -Bottom healer skill and level is also key + Tank level and skill at the right time -Ranged dps needs to be leveled; maybe use Meteorite (if you have her) instead of Kroos or Shirayuki. -Upgrade skill of main vanguard and maybe use Siege or Zima instead -Around 380-390 retreat Shaw or Kroos and use Liskarm in replace of Amiya/dps to do double tank.
Putting Meteorite in place of Kroos probably triples-quadruples the damage dealt, since she hits up to 10-12 units at once with S1 proc. It helps greatly at 350 kills vs red casters, since she will be hitting most of them at once.

Very helpful guide! First try with this I changed things around with some 6-5 stars in certain areas (like vanguard and one of the snipers) I got to 396 kills while the operaters were lacking 10 or so levels, now the bonus money and EXP items have helped get me up to the right level. Just need to watch my defender as not activating her skill near the end doomed her against one of the Red Katana guys near the end.
The first video that actually helped! I barely finished that. Amiya just about managed to pop the white tubbies before they got to my base and I was deploying Shaw, Turtlegirl and Siege like exusiai popping enemies at e2 (give me her when Yostar)

yes rng, lvl and rarity do matter a bit, on mine i do use the same type of operator set up althoug the lvl and rarity are a bit different. only 2 operator lvl 55 (skyfire and melantha) the rest are lvl 40 except rope (e1 lvl 1) and shawn (e1 lvl 36). i replace jessica with blue poison, gitato with skyfire, courier with siege, myrrh with ansel and shirayuki with catapult
@@the_bat_turtle You should probably re-run and get a new auto lineup. No way there should be RNG especially after your operators are E2. I used a bunch of higher rarity operators, unlike most guides, and could clear it with low levelled E1s.
Platinum on that bottom Sniper position is...unbelievable. Like, already at like E1 40-ish with S2 she can kill that first Red Katana BEFORE HE EVEN TAKES A STEP. Like, that's one super tough section dealt with before it even starts.
I know this is a bit old now but thought I’d offer some info nonetheless. The way the enemies target operators in this game is based on a who was placed last system. So because of this if you simply put down shaw before your healer/caster/sniper then she will only take 1 at most 2 hits from the sniper that comes on 200kills as he will focus on whichever was placed most recently in that segment of the map once he walks a few steps to the left
you dont need to, just put a few levels into shaw and she will not die to the crossbow guy. Since you need Shaw at at leat level 30 to tank the casters later on it really doesn't matter if you put shaw last or not at the start.
If you have time and effort, it's easy to pour it just to figure out the best way possible, just like other basic TD game when you just play and figuring out things by yourself

if u have rosa replace krose with her. things get much easier if you know when to start the skills, she can kill the first wave of hateful avengers for you. its just too good btw this is my setup for lungmen 400 Warfarin Ceylon Saria Blaze Shaw Siege Liskarm Specter Rosa Platinum All operators are at around E1 Lv50
... just changed courier on Lappland when red katana and that will be more easy to deal with Also this level can be beated with E0 Shirayki and only you need maxed E1 tank and meteor - no Kokodayo Gitana best aoe caster to this level but can be changed on Gray with S2 And if you use Flamebringer than melantha he will be more strong and durability even with S2 ( so flamebringer E2 with module lvl 2 and S1M3 is best option for guard on this annihilation after 6* guards)

@@KabouKasko That's not what the video said. He said to use Ash for defending the bottom lane where myrhh and stuff are. To stop the elite casters. Rope is a 4* so she's really not that rare. And even if you somehow don't have Rope Cliffheart is also a free unit. So not having them isn't a problem for 95% of people watching this

BlazingThief sometimes because of rng or higher lvl-ed operators the timing can be a bit off. So you retreat rope a bit later to make sure if the enemy waves come later than expected she can still handle them. Sry for my bad grammar, hope you understand it^^
Yes, it's Cuora's second skill due to the much higher DEF and the small regen it gives you. It's the ultimate tank move which helps a LOT against the red samurai guys

Platinum is the best sniper in this stage with her s2 for me. She gets permanent longer range so she is the best for me and she also kills the first red katana before it gets to your defenses
Is hibis better than myrrh? I have warfarin should i place her at the top or bottom lane? Also for the guard, since i don't use melantha, should i use doberman, frostleaf or matoimaru. For the tank i can use hoshiguma, right?
I had Hoshiguma at E1L40 with 2nd skill and is a better replacement for Cuora, or if you have any other 6 star op. Cuora's block isn't that useful in this level unlike Chernobog
Nice one, almost made it, 8 mobs survived. Apparently E1 lv 50 cuora is useless without at least E1 lvl 30 healer to boot, mine was only lv 20 so she died.
Can Metorite / Blue Poison replace some snipers here? Or can non-aoe only replace non-aoe snipers? Any advice on which healer's better between Myrrh and Gavial?
Decided to try this strat with a few modifications: Replaced Courier with Siege, Kroos with Meteorite, Shirayuki with Kroos, Hibiscus with Shining, Myyrh with Silence, Gitamo with Lava, and Rope with Cliffheart. Strat worked perfectly.

for tip 4 I found a good alternative to the Vanguard can also be Myrtle if you have a strong Guard

4:46 Notice on the top right, there's an undetectable enemy that is constantly pickering with Shaw, to be safe level up shaw to the maximum before E1.
i lvled up Shaw to 30, and brought a perfumer with me, the global hp regen from perfumer was more than enough

Finally beat the whole 400 kills. The final red swordsman was the key, didn't noticed until multiple tries.
That rope trick with shaw to get rid of the one dude saved me lol. Didn't know that timing worked.

There's a degree of RNG for sure. My squad still manages to let enemies through on Chernobog, even with E2 operators

Are your skills leveled up? That can make a huge difference.
Some unites use a bit of luck, like meteorite has a chance to crit drom her talants, gitano having a roulet of random buff upon deployment.

Sometimes you just need a general outline of who needs killed when, then trial and error til you get it.
@@pyromasteralex True but this really sucks in annihilation mod because you waste 10min fighting easy mobs so trial and error can be pretty long.

They protect the right conner if you don't have rope
