Thanks for watching!!!
It's that damn parking module. Apperiently there is a problem with them straight from the factory. Alot pf folks have had issue with. Some almost brand new. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Definitely should be addressed!
Nice video. You sound just like Tom Hanks.
Haha! Thanks for watching!!
I have a 2022 42 in. With a Kohler 22 HP. Iron forged deck.. for my property..I service my unit on my single post inground lift ..I pull off the sleeves on the lift and drive over it to take off the blades for maintenance ..etc. I can get her up over my head to clean the deck , I have 54 hour in my toro. I bought it with the hour meter..I love toro.. products..great video..great advise. IL run 10- 30 .I'm down in Florida. It's hot down here and lots of sand..in the lawns..no dirt..
Awesome!! Thanks for watching!
Any info on what plugs, belts , blades to stick to get going? I’m doing a mobile blade sharpening and get a lot of requests for tune up which I can do ( doing at my house for drop offs and neighbors) but don’t carry any stock. Not all homeowners know how to find motor number or model type. Excellent video. Thank you.
We work closely with distributors so you can drive the price down. Medart, Power Distributors and Oscar Wilson will cover 99% of what you need to order. They have minimum orders for free shipping but almost always next day delivery depending on when you order. We only stock stuff we sell a lot of, mostly MTD stuff and blades for almost everything
Awesome video! I have a time cutter an it’s running rough, I’ve changed plugs an it ran better but then fowled out again I think it’s running rich what could be the problem?
Stuck float in the carburetor is a likely cause. Bad fuel or moisture in the fuel will cause it to smell rich sometimes also
@@IndRepair thank you! I will check that out
That tool you used on the filter was not a vice grip but it was a channel lock.
Vice Grip manufacturer
The tire pressure that you're reading on the sidewalls is the max tire pressure. Toro recommended pressure is much lower. Your tires are over inflated!
Softer ride with less pressure, otherwise not a problem in any other way
I liked this video. I have had this timecutter for 2 years and wondered if I need to service the drive hydraulics and adjust the forward/reverse handles as one is slightly ahead of the other? Thanks
You can definitely adjust the travel of the handles to fix this unless one of them is slipping. Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thank you!
Why do you say in the description you can use champion RC12YC but in the video you say it's not the right plug that's in it? I have the same engine and use the RC12YC without any problems but if I need to change to NGK I'll do it. Thanks good video as always.
I was thinking it was the larger plug BPR6ES and it is not. The plug you are using is just perfect. If you want to switch to an NGK BKR6ES would work perfectly. Thanks for watching!
@@IndRepair Thank you! I use 5W30 full synthetic oil because here in Quebec Canada it can get very cold. I fear this engine might be underpowered for a 42inch deck more so if you add a bagger or mulching kit. What is your opinion on its size? Have a good day
I would agree a bagger kit with this engine would be underpowered
Mulching engine should keep up well but Canada is a whole another worth away from Central Illinois. The winters have to be hard on them
What brand is your oil remover and size ???
Thanks ☺️
It is an OEM tools 1.5 gallon (6L) have like it s lot better than any of the other brands I have used. I have been through a lot of them over the years, the OEM tools one is 1 piece construction so it won't leak out of the bottom if you happen to get something that is not good for orings in it
Orgen has good parts and I’ve never had a problem with them
I need a pump unit, hand pump type
Yeah most are pretty solid! It's like everything else, check it out before you install it and decide if you are happy with the quality and fit before you put your name on the repair
What brand of fuel hose do you use???
Hard to find good stuff online
We get ours from Kimball Midwest not really sure what brand they are
I just got one but it has a briggs and stratton 500cc 15.5 motor now
Great info!
I put my waste oil on top of my cross tie fence post and spray the side
There 55 years old and still good
Haha, nice!
Where can I get a electric schematic for the Toro time cutter???
Usually on the Toro website for the model but does not include engine electrical. Do you have a model number handy that you are looking for in specific?
What you know about the hydrostatic service on a 2017 time cutter MX 5000
Difficult. Most do not have a drain port and no access to refill if they do. Pull the hydros to do the oil change. There is a service manual at www.hydro-gear.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/BLN-52622_2100_2200_P13.pdf
Thank you very much I've been searching for awhile now for information i figure it was going to be tough when the matainance book had nothing
@@williamharkenrider3842 Yeah they sure don't make it easy on this!
How do I level de deck? The left side it's an inch lower than the right side.
Go to www.toro.com/en/parts/partdetails?id=53158&iid=462404&pid=511604 and you can see the diagram for the deck lift. If you look at part number 6 it is a bracket with different holes in it. To raise the side that is low install that side in a hole that holed the deck up higher than it currently is. Thanks for watching!
I have a 42" timecutter but the adjustments on the handles do nothing for the speed. Going forward it steers left and going back it's much worse going right. 2 weeks old.
Wow, seems like they definitely didn't get something put together right
@azimmey you need to slow down the right hydro by taking a wrench and tightening the nut a couple of turns. Run it on level smooth surface like a garage floor. You may have to adjust it and try it a few times until you get it tracking straight. The nut I’m talking about is right behind and above the rear tires.
Thanks!
Glad to help!
I have a slow leak on my left hydro. I wanted to add some fluid. Should I fill atw to the top??
The service manual says "Fill the ZT-2100 and ZT-2200 (EZT ®) so the oil level is .75”-1.50” (19-38 mm) below the oil fill port" That is hard to do if you cannot see the top of the fill port but if you can get it in there this was get it done otherwise the hydro will have to be pulled to fix the leak and refill
@@IndRepair thanks
You should have looked up the spark plug part number before you guessed that it was a BPR6ES. Not only could you have damaged the threads, you could have mislead someone who took your initial guess and ran with it because they didn't have the patience to watch the rest of the video. 😂
Definitely. Threads are the same, would have seen they were different before screwing in and ruining the threads if they werent. I should have edited it out and done lots different with this video, I agree. All you can do it get better. Thanks for the constructive criticism
Amsoil always
Nice!
I am an Amsoil fan also but when they want $26.99 a quart it is time to change brands.
Definitely seems excessive!
It is pricey but $26.99 a quart? I pay $11.98
Now that's reasonable enough
This is crazy. I’ve watched 20 plus toro videos to find a drain on 75740 and the only one (this one) has the guy using a specialty tool to remove the damn oil. Absolutely infuriating trying to just drain this damn thing.
Definitely so, it seems like they do not want you to change the oil!
@@IndRepair so is the suction pump the only option for the 75740?
@@MrMpm3001 some engines have a drain valve installed. You can find it on page 26 of your manual at www.toro.com/getpub/70680
@@IndRepair 🫡
@@IndRepair wanted to say thanks again brother. I found the drain valve and successfully drained the oil. Subbed 🫡
Why don't you get a parts manual an get the right plug an stop guessing?
Same plug specs and length just a different size head on it. They make different version boots of this same engine, which I was unaware of. No need to guess, it's not rocket science.
Want fire.
Nice
Ngk....Period.
We use NGK in almost everything, only other plugs we use for Briggs is the 796112 and 491055T
