Happy for you both tat you got the 'stamp' on the passport so as not to disrupt your onward plan/trips. Enjoy, eat well and rest well. Life is good. Watching your vlog makes me feel like experiencing wat you both are doing ,except tat you borh are on site, while i am at the comfort of my home. Thsnk you .good job
Hello Lay and Tom welcome back to Bangkok I am very very happy Tom you could get your stamp in your passport. Please please have a fantastic time in Bangkok and please please travel safely. Have a blessed time Tom and Lay.
It was good to see you Tom get your stamp and I bet your headache will of gone in the morning, probably the pressure of needing your Irish passport to be stamped! Onwards and upwards guys and keep up the great work and can’t wait to see your next instalment before I head back to Manila from East Yorkshire 😊
I just can't wrap my mind on how he is living. Traveling ALL the time. Completely different way of life. It works for him I suppose. Then again, when I was his age. They didn't have podcasting and all that stuff.
Some recommendations... 1. The bullet train from Shanghai to Beijing is fast, modern and very affordable. 2. There's a flight from Beijing to Xi'an where you leave Beijing in the early morning, visit the Terra Cotta Soldiers and then return to Beijing the same (late) night. 3. At the Great Wall of China, go to the Mutianyu part. And there, please please check out the toboggan ride. It's definitely worth it. You'll thank me later.
China extended their 6 day free visa to 10 days. Both Ireland and UK citizens are included. There is no issue with using either passport unless you were planning on staying in China for more than 10 days. Be safe.
You need to have a forwarding ticket to another country other than where you're flying into China from for that visa. It's a "transit" visa, so you can't round trip back to destination you came from. I'm taking advantage of that visa in April for a week's stay on my way back to Cebu.
Oh no! How crazy & ironic that now it’s your passport with issues instead of Lay’s! And when I was in the Philippines last year, it was the first time I’ve actually had any of my passports stamped in over 20 years! So in Asia it’s still very much a thing with visas & stamps, but to be refused because your Irish passport has no stamps must have been a real shock! My gut feeling is that it was the one particular immigration officer who dealt with you, that did that and it’s not necessarily the rule!? I would have been really upset if that happened to me, especially as it stuffs up your travel plans! Good luck for the next step of your journey. I hope it goes according to plan.
When I first started traveling outside the US it was a few months before 9/11. Back then you had to ask to have your passport stamped. Sometimes they wouldn't even have ink and they'd just shrug. I still have that old passport. We visited something like 30 countries and I might have a handful of stamps.
Mate you can enter China for 30 days visa free with UK passport. I find Malaysia really easy now as just fill out arrivals information on line and use auto gates KL both entering and leaving.
Ahh looked here. Tom’s country status caused some problems. After all the crap he gave Lay over how hard it is to travel with a Filipina. Karma brother!
I enjoy travelling with Malaysia Airlines. This was back in 1991 in December going from Melbourne to KL n side trip to Cebu for 10 days Xmas and back to KL and onto Dubai and to Frankfurt for 3 months. When returning to KL I had a long wait( 9hrs) back to Melbourne 😂😂. Hopefully you guys will be soon be in China 🇨🇳
Indeed. MAS has had a hard time in the last few years but seems to be recovering slowly. Its international network is sparse now, especially to Europe, compared to the good times.
It’s not a good time to go to Indonesia be it’s the rainy season. Although it’s not the rainy season in Medan and there’s a non-stop flight from Bangkok
Happy Travels Guys😂❤ Waiting for some Motor Vlogs in the southern Parts from Bangkok to Phuket. Show us new Areas in Tom & Lays Beautiful Paradies.😂❤ Greetings from Koh Samui Island
❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍 7:26 I too don't understand the flight attendant's English. Eva Air ask me if I want chicken or snake? I said what! 2x snake? She said yeah so i said chicken the lady next to me had a delicious meal better than the chicken I asked what was that she was eating she said steak 😂
So soon both of u r leaving. Next time when u r back here, make an effort to visit other states of Malaysia. Anyway, safe travelling to yr next destination.🙏🙏
Why leave soon? You had 90 days free visa if you must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card an online pre arrival form filled out 3 days before your scheduled arrival ..
China doesn't recognise dual nationality, similar to Malaysia. Using an Irish passport will be visa free entry for up to 15 days. Pick one passport and use same passport consistently on arrival and departure. ✈️ Enjoy Bangkok and the delicious foods. 🍛🍻
Correct 💯. Visitors staying in China for more than 24 hours must register with the local police. Hotel guests are registered automatically at check-in. Those staying in private accommodation must register at the local police station within 24 hours of arrival.
Lay Oh Layyyyyyyyy. You can still shop you just buy a lot and have it shipped back to you so when you are done on the trip when you get home it is already there waiting for you. Just don't tell Tom I gave you that Idea.
Took the “Luxury” train to Georgetown Penang for a day and on the train now headed back to KL after an overnight there. Did you make it to Georgetown Penang? I really liked it.
It's really nice to see how kilig you two are and also Lay blossoming more and more especially with her facial expressions, nice Chess move Tom on the luggage lol
Tom, I would seriously reconsider your plans to visit China. You are putting Lay at risk of major discrimination, racism and violence. Chinese Nationalists do not hesitate to be horrendous to foreigners and in the current political situation between China and the Philippines you can expect refusal of service, harrassment and worse. Most Chinese people are wonderful but with their government pushing anti Philippines propaganda it's just not the right time for Filipinos to be visiting China .
Because you have electronic on your passport and the same with Malaysian passport have electronic on the passport so you don’t need a stamp on your passport, you can just tap and go i
@@Tom-Lay I think they will be stopping stamping soon enough. Singapore has already stopped stamping and Malaysia has also said it would stop stamping. They have already started using QR codes for Malaysian/Singapore visitors. The practice would soon be for all tourists and eventually every single country in the world would do the same. It's all in the computer system, no longer in page wasting stamps. So you got to get used to it. Singapore and Malaysia are the pioneers just like how Malaysia was the first nation in the world to use passport gantries and microchip based passports in the year 2000. The EU and the rest of the world adopted it much later. Get used to new technology man. You can't change the trend. It would be global soon.
Yeah Lao then China sounds good......but where in China........ the most visually stunning City in China is definately Shanghai and you could even take the train with no wheels the Maglev magnetic levitation train from the airport into the city at 200mph. I did it in 2006 an unforgetable amazing visual experience !
Its a little confusing about the amount of traveling you are doing. It makes for good videos but in the long run it doesn't seem very practical. I think you could be just as successful settling down and starting to be a family and buying property and even traveling within the Philippines. You are not all that far away from Baguio living in Manila and this is one city that doesn't get much attention...
Perhaps their guardian angel is telling them to just settle down and start a family. Lay is approaching 30, and people often say it's advisable to have children before reaching that age.
It doesn't seem very helpful to just be traveling and spending money that could be used for better things. She has two kids already and they are still young and really need to be with their mother

If eating was an Olympic event lay win gold everytime 🎉
I don’t get it… if you have a valid Irish passport then why won’t Malaysia accept it?
Malaysia uses an electronic system without stamping for chip based passports, similar to Singapore. You won't be getting a stamp on your passport.
No they still stamped
