- Here's my first full cover using my latest purchase - the Behringer C-1U condenser microphone. I have used a backing track without guitar (you can find it on youtube) so all the guitar parts you can hear are mine, recorded in one take. That's probably why there's a funny brain-fart in the last section of the song.

Audacity, Sony Vegas

What is your use effects that like an original
It’s just the amp on the edge of breakup and a bit of the built-in spring reverb - you don’t really need anything else for this song :)

Just curious when you are playing the barre chords jimi hendrix style{i.e. using the f open chord shape} are you muting both the high e and the a strings or just one of them or are you getting all the strings? Seems to be easier to mute those two strings with the advantage that it's more like a power chord and can be used better with distortion than a full barre chord can.

About the mic - it's nice and simple to record with it - you don't need any additional hardware such as audio interface or any kind of phantom power. You just plug it in to your computer via USB and record.
As for the sound quality I think it's pretty cool for the money. These mics are pretty cheap, so don't be afraid to buy one and try it yourself. Even if you end up not liking it you will not lose much $$$.

Pamiętasz może ustawienia piecyka i gitary z tego filmiku? Świetne wykonanie i rewelacyjne brzmienie gitary :) Szkoda, że mi standardowe przetworniki wystarczają, bo kupiłbym od Ciebie ten komplecik CS 57/62, żeby choć zbliżyć się do tego brzmienia :) Pozdrawiam.

Sounds great. Do you think you could get a similar sound with the AC10?
It should, I get that vibe from the youtube clips of the ac10. Just keep in mind that the ac10 has a 10" speaker, while the ac15 has a 12" greenback - that will make the biggest difference in my opinion. I'd visit a shop that has both and compare them side by side if I were you.

I mean, it's possible by unplugging the speaker from the Vox and going to the TT, but it would defeat the entire purpose of having a combo amp. You should be looking at speaker cabs, not combos.
yeah i was thinking it through and ill just get the vox and feed some pedals through it, do you know how well the amp takes pedals?
kenwalker5280 Out of the box, it's an absolute nightmare. It takes work to get it where it will accept overdrive/distortion pedals without sounding harsh and unbearably bright. A bright cap mod (Google will tell you everything you need to know about this, but essentially you just remove capacitors C8, C67, and C4) makes a night-and-day difference in how well the amp takes pedals. The stock tubes are also garbage, and I noticed a surprising amount of positive difference in the tone just by changing these out, much more so than I noticed in other amps when tube rolling.
I'd recommend buying used since you're going to void your warranty by modding it anyway, and the price is usually a good $200 - 300 cheaper for these on the used market. Hope this helps.
