Wonderful vocal quality and superb presentation Alba Esteban - Bravo!
Alba continues to impress with her vocal.That “mean” Tenor Sax player is great. I like him sharing fours with Andrea who doesn’t miss a beat!
Alba Esteban does excellent vocal. Andrea does an outstanding trumpet solo. Hard to believe that these young ladies are so talented for their ages. Way to go ladies!!! Also Joel Frahm gives another great tenor sax solo.
Yet another gassa from Sant Andreu. Words can't convey how much joy Joan and his musicians send out to us all, Andrea's solo and Alba's vocal are marvellous! And I think Joel was born to play with this band?!

Aunque el jazz practicamente murio en su pais de origen, grandes como Chamorro, Andrea y tantos otros, brillantemente lo mantienen vivo, demos las gracias por su esfuerzo y talento.

Oh Man! These little gems have come a long way. The way they have progressed and grown with the music, it's amazing. For me, the four stars in this classic are without any doubt; Alba on vocals & soprano sax, Andrea on muted trumpet and right there holding everything together; Abril Sauri on drums. And yes, my favorite: Carla on rhythm (Galbraith style).

The arrangement is great, especially the saxophone soli and shout chorus! The band is super tight, and Frahm and Motis solos are fun and swinging. Student rhythm section is really a knockout! Nice relaxed vocal, Ms. Esteban! I am addicted to these videos! Bravo, Sant Andreu JB! I want a T-shirt!!

Too much fun! Excellent on all fronts, but do note that smoothness in Alba's singing.
Yet another outstanding version of a jazz classic. Trading "fours" with the saxman and her trumpet was superb. Keep up the great work you youngsters!!!!

Creo que es una de las pocas veces que Alba Esteban me convence como cantante, entre las decenas de videos que la he visto hacerlo. Sigo pensando que no es lo suyo, nunca será una jazz-woman tan completa como Andrea Motis, Alba Armengou ó Rita Payés, fantásticas cantantes e instrumentistas, tampoco llegará a los niveles vocales de Joana Casanova o la desaparecida en combate Eva Fernández (mágníficas voces ambas), pero al menos en esta ocasión está más desenvuelta y segura de lo habitual. Y es curioso, después de repasar otra vez sus videos como vocalista, creo que de niña (11-12 años) cantaba con más desenvoltura y confianza que de adolescente y con bastante más que ahora de adulta. ¿La timidez se hace más patente con los años? A saber ... Eso sí, al saxo es fantástica, tiene muy pocos rivales a su altura, ya no solo en el plano nacional, sino hasta en el internacional.
Joel Frahm, como siempre, sobresaliente, algo muy habitual en los invitados del maestro Chamorro, que no elige uno malo, oye. De Andrea Motis a la trompeta, que decir que no se hay dicho cientos de veces, increible. Y el resto de la chavalería de la SAJB, con la plana mayor de esa década mágica y quizá irrepetible que tuvo la orquesta (del 2010 al 2019): Alba Armengou, Carla Motis, Elia Bastida, Marçal Perramón, Joan Martí, Rita Payés, Joan Mar Sauqué, Jan Doménech, Magalí Datzira, Abril Saurí, Víctor Carrascosa .... absolutamente genial, ni uno sólo baja el nivel, todos convertidos ahora en músicos profesionales y la mayoría en estrellas (la única a la que he perdido la pista es Irene Mata).
Todas las grabaciones de la SAJB en esa época son tesoros a guardar bajo siete llaves.
