Everything on my Retroid Pocket is an accumulation of things I've researched and discovered and presented here on my channel. If you're curious about something, odds are that I did a video on it (even if it is the Odin, it's still Android so it's the same platform) and if those videos are too long then the info in those video descriptions should direct you to what you need. I pretty much took everything I did on my Odin over to my RP3+ and continued on. And as always thank you so much for watching me ramble as I play and show these things, it really was just a hobby and something I enjoyed doing and the channel has over 3k subscribers now! I hope I continue to enjoy doing this and find ways to expand and make this channel more interesting, but for now I'll just continue to basically do these one take videos where you see it as it is and try to get these best out of these devices.
There’s been loads of really useful info in your videos and I’ve found some great games I’ve moved tried before so thanks! I do love the look of some of the Pegasus themes but it seems such a massive pain to setup conspired to the other front ends and then I’ve no idea how I update it when adding another rom. Any chance you could make a guide video to get my Retroid like yours?
I am soo confused, when you buy this does it come with all the games and emulations on it already or is it up to you to install them? If they come with it how do I find a list of all the games/emulations that come with the purchase
@@tonyhilderbrand When you first run the retroid pocket it will have a launcher wizard and ask you if you wanna download certain emulators. I have owned both, and it really just depends up to what system you want to play, and if you care for upscaling or not. The RG353m can play up to PS1 at 1x, but can't go to 2x for that system without having a few stutters and slowdowns. Dreamcast and Saturn performance requires frameskip at 1x for smooth gameplay. On the RP3+ however, none of that is an issue in the slightest. It can play up to 3x for most PS1 games, and 2x for pretty much all of them with no stutters or slowdowns. It can also play most Saturn and Dreamcast games at 2x resolution without issue. It really is the best retro handheld I've ever owned. If you don't care for Dreamcast or Saturn games, and don't care for upscaling, definitely get the RG353m, if only because the buttons and Dpad are slightly better in my opinion, and the size is more pocketable than the RP3+.
