I was at an anniversary party a free nights ago and there was this device playing. Loved it. Outdoors venue. The volume was at noon and the sound was perfect.. good for conversations.
Over Bluetooth it only supports sbc a low quality mp3 codec, no matter the quality of track you're playing. None of these reviewers mention the low quality probably cause they're getting free stuff.....beware.
I did mention the codec and yes it is a lower quality codec, but I can also say that probably 90% of people won't be able to hear the difference. The sound of this speaker is still amazing over bluetooth and that is why I included a sound demo as well so you can listen.
Please help me feel better with my Wuborn III purchase. 😂😂 I am facing buyers' regret, and the biggest reason is due to the speaker's large size and TOO powerful sound compared to my small APT (city life). The seller does not accept returns. 😢
That feature is apparently coming according to marshall, we just don't know when yet, but if you have a newer android phone, it lets you connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at once, so you should be able to play 2 at the same time that way , i did it with a jbl boombox and a lg xboom
I couldn’t disagree more! This is an excellent “inexpensive” alternative for a cordless blue tooth music speaker. It’s NOT intended, in my opinion, as a television, or tv surround system. The clarity, and full sound from this $599 speaker, is by far the best I’ve ever heard.
I am really happy that you feel this way and I also feel that this is an amazing speaker hands down, but for some this is more expensive than they would ever pay for a speaker so just wanted to try and capture that as well with my conclusion. I feel as a speaker it is worth the price, but for most it might only be worth it as the combo.
It wouldn’t have an HDMI input if it wasn’t intended to support TV. It won’t rival a soundbar or a proper home theater setup for quality of experience. It is however cheaper than most better sounding proper stereo or multichannel options. I’d guess the target market is apartment dwellers and those who prioritize a certain aesthetic over sound quality. It might be interesting if you could take two of them and set the, as a stereo pair though.
The best home speaker? No, not even close. You not going to get good sound quality from Bluetooth. A good media player, a good amp, a quality set of bookshelves, and a powered sub. That's the way to go. For the price of this thing, you can get all of that except for the powered sub.

That's awesome to hear. Glad you were impressed with it
What do you think about hooking it up to a turntable?
I have the same question!!
@ I hope they will do it for us.
Im a bit late here but have you heard Woburn 2 ? Would you say this is a good upgrade in terms of audio quality?
Thanks
Hi, thanks for the review, how do I know if my Woburn 3 is genuine if the serial numbers on the box and the app don't match?
What is the music used for testing in the video?😀
how it manage stereo sounds ? and can it be a good home theater speaker for a room of size 25 feet by 22 feet and height of 11 feet ?
Im thinking about buying this Marshall Woburn III, thank you.
One more thing can you tell me the colour RAL of your bedroom wall? 😂 amazing
That's awesome and I unfortunately can't, it is like a very light brown color, but don't know the exact name.

@@Jacqiemeh, i think if people are searching out these reviews, they are capable and aware of audio quality changes lol
Woburn 3 vs boombox3 if you have experience
sbc is not equal mp3, don't fool the people
How does this compare to SoundBoks or Bose S1 Pro ?

Can we use wabourn 3 as soundbar
Yes you can
Sir does the woburn 3 give any surround effects
Yes
Is this stereo? Or mono?
Did you try spotify and other lossy music, without any external Amp/DAC how's the output quality?
I play music everyday either using RUclips music or Spotify via Bluetooth with a smartphone and it sounds great
And it has a battery 20h last longer for picnic camping it better when watching cinema film in projector portable wow.i love it
Uh, this doesn't have a battery my guy
Do you need to plug the device or is it battery powered?
You need to plug it in
Big issue. No remote and can't change volume on App ? Gotta walk to the speaker. That sucks
Dude you can change the volume with your freken phone.
Can you couple the speaker with another Marshall?

my man's so underrated fr
Thank you for the kind words
No Airplay 2 support is a deal breaker for me.

Wtf , i buy this , and where is couple mode .... i
Yo acabo de encargar la mia....pero es el modelo...marshall tufton...
Hope you enjoy it
Glad you are enjoying it
One piece of advice if I can give you, test with some more appropriate and rich music. I mean something like Sting and Dire Straits
I would love to, but those track would get me a copyright strike
It's vegan lol...Personally all the plastic is a bigger concern to me. But I don't plan to eat it so I guess it's ok.
Too bad.it doesn't work with Android 14
It works with my S24 Ultra which has Android 14
