I use spray contact glue to attach my sandpaper.

Double sided tape is also an option

The only problem I saw was you sanding in a circular motion instead of with the grain. I have for the last 30 years wrapped it around the block and I never had a problem. Thanks for you time, stay well

I'd feel more comfortable with this tip if you didn't cut on the piece you're sanding, then sand perpendicular to the grain. Other than that, it might be a worthwhile idea.

Good idea and tip, and you can get a sharpie and write on the other side, what grade of sandpaper you used?
