Dude, really. We sit through 14 plus minutes of you building this awesome guitar and don't get to hear you play it :-). But seriously that is an awesome piece of work.
Thanks Richard! I promise you will hear it soon! It was a real struggle to get this video shortened up! I have no doubt there was 10+ hours of film to condense! 🎶🎵 soon!
Been waiting to finally see the full build video here! It really encapsulates the whole process in to a clean 14 minutes. From the looks of the video it seems like you didn't hit any real snags along the way! Everything turned out great! I really like that you built your go-bar deck with little compartments at the base to store the go-bars. I might have to steal that :)
Thanks Eric! There is plenty of mistakes that the video doesn’t recognize but in the end I have a handcrafted, great playing guitar! Your course prepared me well! I have many thoughts and suggestions for the go-bar deck we will discuss later!
Excellent job! I give you credit, there must have been a bunch of times when you wondered why you were doing this. Loved the finish and I watched every video. What can I say? Thanks for the ride, it’s been fun.
Thank you very much! This is probably my first project where such fine attention was required! Definitely first one that required magnifiers! Lol! Of course, my close up vision isn’t what it used to be!
@@lastingbuild1373 I totally get it. I've transitioned to readers because when I'm taking measurements and laying out these days I can't see the tick marks on the rulers. Some things about aging sucks. I'll take the good with the bad though lol.
@@lastingbuild1373 then I am truly impressed. I can tell that you have great wood working experience and knowledge. I have started a guitar building page if you’d be interested in some of the things I am doing, it’s on Facebook under clayton guitarworks
I think a lot of guys are disappointed that you went from shaping the neck directly to a time lapse of the finished project. I know I was looking forward to the fret install, tuner install, finishing and set up. Probably 3 more videos. I have been watching these videos with keen interest and when I saw the next video was the "all done time lapse" I was disappointed. Also you did not play it!
I hope you enjoyed the video! Here is link to the build series 👉👉🔴 ruclips.net/video/tAc-TSV4SAA/видео.html

Now we just need a jam session video to hear the sound. Great job!
You will need to tune in for the “behind the build” video when it’s released! You can hear it 🎶🎵🎶!
@@lastingbuild1373 when is that coming out?
@@juswoodshop stay tuned!
Nice job. Looks a lot better than a lot of the guitars I've seen at guitar center
Thanks buddy! I’ve got plenty of room for improvement!
Just one word --- Wow!
Thanks Mark! Your comment is very much appreciated!
Incredible job. A work of art, craftsmanship, perseverance and patience.

Man... What an amazing work! It looks fantastic! 😃
Really well done!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you! Good to hear from you!
Awesome build man. It‘s cool to see everything from the build series wrapped up into one video. The guitar looks awesome!
Thanks Chris! Looking forward to yours as well!

Thanks Gary! Lots of head scratching for sure! It was definitely worth the effort though!
Impressive! I appreciate you sharing the build with us. Looking forward to hearing how good it sounds.
Amazing! Flawless work! The shellac finish just blew me away.
Thank you! The finish is actually Tru-oil which is a gunstock finish!
Great job on the guitar. It’s exciting to see the process finished and how well it turned out.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice video mate, nice work and nice music in the background also 👌
Thanks a bunch!
Awesome Build Jim! Beautiful work. Loved watching All the footage great stuff looking forward to hearing you crank out a solo on it now!! Enjoy 😀
Thanks a bunch! Stay tuned!

You are the best...υποκλίνομαι ....and you begine summer ...finish winter !!!!
Wow!!! That is beautiful. Fantastic videography also. Very enjoyable to watch. I hope you intend to let us hear how this masterpiece sounds.
For sure! In the "behind the build" video! This one was running a little long so will play it then.
@@lastingbuild1373 Looking forward to it
Beautiful guitar, great shop!!! Anything a guitar builder could ask for !! I’d live to hear it!
Thanks Frank! I will play it soon for you!
All I can say is " Nice Work " Jim !
Thanks buddy! I haven’t heard from you lately! Y’all get any snow last week?
@@lastingbuild1373 no snow, was on the warm side of all that . Thank God !
Looks like the A bracing on a Martin.
Yes! Very similar to Martin bracing!
The table saw for fingerboard is Dewalt? And were did you find the blade for fretting?
Stewmac sells the blade and it works perfect with my saw! I use the sled to keep everything square for each cut!
I have built 5 guitars and a few more in the works, I see to many specialized tools for this to be your first foray into instrument building 🤷🏻♂️
It’s definitely my first but not my last! Working with great sponsors made this build and video a possibility!

I’m not on facebook currently but I may do that soon!
@@lastingbuild1373 I’m not either, I just let the wife handle it all! Hahahahaha

Understood! The video you refer to is close to completion!
Hopefully to include fitting and attaching the neck! 😎
