My daughter got her puppy Alfie in 2011..a time when she was very poorly ,and if not for him,I doubt she would be here now.Alfie was the most wonderful dog,he won so many rosettes for his tricks and what Hannah put into him,she got out of him.He was a beautiful,incredible soul.It's 2 years today since he was taken from us,and we took him in the car on a final journey to his favourite places in Scarborough where we live.We were all in shock,in silence,driving along.Someone said to put the radio on,so I did,and it was this song that was just starting up on radio 2.For a dog that had been the saver of my daughter,and her best friend ever,you couldn't have even chosen a better song even if you had thought about it.So this is 'Alf's song'.
