Glad you were able to stay safe out there, Koa. The waves were insane and unpredictable. We almost lost Kai Lenny. Idc how good of a surfer you are at Pipe, all it takes is that one hard fall and it can be game over in a flash.

I was out alone on a small stormy day in the fall and backwash whipped epoxy board into side of head hard. Would have broken my teeth if it hit me in the mouth. Now I always think about everyone making it in safe. I like that you visualize safe return. Gonna do that.
