Nice video. I got into this stuff 25 years ago (I'm 50 now). It was a different world then, mostly people thought I had problems, and I had to deal with a lot of judgement (and self-judgement). These days...all the cool people are into it haha. It's good to see.

I live in a concrete jungle and I find little ways the world shows me I am riding the right wave.. if that's a light that turns green the second I get to the intersection.. or a door that's closing and I am able to just squeeze right through.. If you’re looking for a certain wave, you know exactly what spot you need to sit on to find it. At least I do. But you can’t look for every wave from one spot. You’re looking for The Wave, the one you see clearly in your mind. The same is true of all thing in life. You need to know exactly the wave you want and see it clearly to get the universe to bring it to you. But you also have to know you’re in the right spot for that envision wave. Knowing is doing the homework. Sitting there, in the right spot, is the action the homework begets. The doubt is gone when you know because you studied.

Coming up in Nor Cal in the 70's , I can honestly say #Koa is the closest modern version of that 70's vybe -- It's what made cold water manageable in those pre-tech days of surfing when all you had for suits were 2/3m,m beavertails!. Bless-up Breddah! Nuff respect

My best mindset is when I'm not thinking about anything, good or bad. I don't let myself overanalyze or under analyze but have the confidence in myself that my brain will come up with the answer and I just need to convey it. I'm an engineer so this is more a method for answering questions on specific, technical things about my projects.

How are you able to have these tracks in the vid without dmca?
I'm a supply vessel captain at 59yo in the Gulf of Mexico. I have to do 3 hours, 2 mimimum, alone in my stateroom before going up to the wheelhouse. I haven't riden a board in 5 years(MISS IT!) but, I'm surfing 500ton vessels around all the time 😁 I MUST visualize waves a bit more, it seems.

I find your meditation exercises a good way of taking care of yourself and a good way to search for a spiritual way of living...you have a true heart and a noble purpose of maintaining yourself out of this dramatic and anxious world... but I hope you encounter the ultimate way of peace... the encounter with Jesus!
This is not the peace that we can give us by our means...his peace comes with the relation with him. He gives us peace, the truth about ourselfs because we can´t!! When you experience it, is amazing and lifechanging... its not a method its what we were created for!
I think this might be a case of too much free time leading to overthinking. Nothing like a job on a construction site to pull your wandering mind back into the present moment. The manual tasks will help you cultivate a sense of presence.
