I hate this map and will always hate this map. This map has a lot of sniping, which is play style I find very boring. It has some insane loot, but I don't really care about that too much. Fun factor is more important. Also, possibly going for kappa this wipe.

pro tip use the 12 guage sawn off. scav kills still count and you can take a normal gun for pmc's since you dont need to kill the pmc's with the shotgun
Wish I would've thought of that sooner tbh. Definitely doing that next wipe. I also just like the sawed off for the meme. Load it up with Magnum buckies and run around like a bat out of hell lmao. They need to add a Doomslayer helmet 😂
If youre not a sweat at this game the only way to complete this is like you camp the cottage area. Rogues are disgustingly weird working for me at leat i gave up going to Water treatment. The next part with svds is pretty easy
I know it to be true, but I hate camping so much. I do my best not to, I want to become pretty good at Tarkov, but I'm average at best 😅
And the rogues are super wierd. I dont mind them all too much, unless they shoot me through bushes or from super far. They can be annoying to work with because of their ai.
edit: also, I loved using the SVD.
just completed this god awful quest after killing 200 miliion player scavs and 10 pmcs unreal

wait for it the quests on lighthouse gets way worse :)

Lighthouse is the absolute cancer of maps...half of the map (the water treatment plant and the lighthouse itself) is pretty much off-limits to a casual like me anyways, and half of the time I get sniped within ten seconds of spawning anyway.
I think the map could profit from the kind of treatment Shoreline just got: roughen up the terrain a little, limit the lines of sight and give people a chance to leave their spawn without funnelling through kill zones immediately.
Couldn't have said it better myself, point well made. That would be a great idea.
do you know that you don't need to use a shotgun for MPC kills? only for 10 scavs
I knew that, but I wanted to get both done at the same time. I didn't want to focus on only one or the other, that would mean I'd have to play even more Lighthouse.
bro how d fk do u control the recoil on the shutgun this wipe as soon as i click 2 times my aim goes hunting for the aliens living on the sun
I don't really know, as I just kind of do it naturally. I used to play a lot of Rainbow Six Siege, so I kind of naturally adjust to recoil. Make sure to use the MP-153 because of it's barrel length and something like the Remington choke, which reduces spread and recoil.
I refuse to play this map anymore Im fucking done. Ive ran 7 games with 7 deaths and not even SEEN 1 scav yet
it's such an unpleasant map. you doing long road? The scavs don't seem to like being on the road, it's so damn stupid.
i mean spawns are super cancer, but the one at the hill your upset about with mines.. you can run around the moutain and avoid the mines super easy and go around the plant or in the plant depending your goals..
Every time I've tried that, I got killed by the rogues.
@@LordArtorias793 its super easy, hug right side of rocks to avoid land mines, and rush down to the heating pipes and hug the wall, you will live 99% of the time
@@Drunk0nCustard Oh, I see what you mean. I thoughts you meant run behind where you spawn into the rogue camp. Well at the time I played and recorded this video, I didn't know where exactly the landmines were. So, at the time of recording, it was just as deadly as the other options. It's still helpful though.
Nah.. This quest line a actualy great. It's challenging and brings different tactics.. For example I made in the same time like 7 quest and bring few Guns(main and shotgun) .. (night kills, grenade kills, usec kills, scavs on a road, mark objects, several lighthouse quest, some Jegers tortures...) and in the end i made them all for a few days + gained several mill of money. This game is not about being easy, it's literally about surviving in a shitty setup and conditions, spilling blood and stealing all the shit you can.. It's suppose to be Hard and it is! And thats what makes it cool, because there is almost non "f high risk, f high reward" games around. And the biggest reward you get is feelings of the win nomatter what.
I'm not complaining that the game is difficult, I'm complaining about the spawns and the way that the map is played. The questline is good except for this specific part of punisher. I just don't like Lighthouse at all.

You must've missed the part where I talked about how I started doing after a certain point. I do hate camping, but the map and quest encourages it. In the beginning clips I wasn't camping. However, after playing light house for several hours, it's what I died to. So instead of running around aimlessly and dying to a sniper, I ended up doing the only reasonable thing. Like stated in the video, it was a battle of "how bad do I want this? I decided I wanted it." I wasn't going to waste even more time on a map I already hate playing a way that puts me at a severe disadvantage. Lighthouse is full of snipers, I figured that out the hard way. I had to adjust, or I'd keep dying and never get the quest done. If you'd watch other videos, you will see that I don't prefer camping.

Lighthouse is a map where it is camp or be camped. You literally can't play the map aggressive unless you get a select few spawns. This is even more true if you picked the BEAR faction. Rushing or playing aggressive will lead to way more headaches than on any other map.
I don't get what's so difficult though. You don't have to kill PMCs with the shotgun, you're allowed to run a gun that's more fitting for Lighthouse........@@LordArtorias793
