- A flotilla of Russian warships passed within hailing distance of Florida’s eastern coastline Tuesday, with the US Navy and Coast Guard following close behind, according to open-source maritime and air tracking information. NY Post reporter Caitlin Doornbos shares this story.
The Coast Guard Cutter Stone, Navy guided-missile destroyers USS Truxtun and USS Donald Cook, and the Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Ville de Quebec sailed after four Russian vessels reportedly headed to Cuba, according to online maritime trackers including VesselFinder.

@@aaronwright7950bro. In the Cold War the Soviets exchanged being able to dock there and conduct military operations with Cuba for the people to sell sugar cane and trade for food. After the Soviets collapsed there whole economy kinda got bad bc that’s there major money booster but I’d say it would be likely
