Ya know...people say "what's happening to the world nowadays?" Well I think the world is pretty damn badass when stuff that we could only DREAM of as kids ACTUALLY exists now.
I drilled a hole all the way down for the roll bar lights that was very difficult as you need to drill around corners those two parts are solid aluminam
@15:20 You can see the movement of the tracks causes the becons to go crazy. might be a channel mix. are they running through the Beier Unit or direct from RX plug.
Hi Bob At 16:56 the strobes go crazy and the right hand one goes off leaving left hand one flashing fast ... is this a fault or a function you didn't mention. Great vid as usual.
Another amazing detailed informational video Bob 👍🏼 This series will go down in time as the go to series for DXR2 dozer info. Slight hiccup with my order at Rc4wd. ended up not having any in stock yet paid for. So I’m waiting for mine to arrive. Should be soon let’s hope.
Don't let the tensioners extend further than 15 mm the tensioner locating bolt will disengage allowing the front idler assembly to twist It starts throwing tracks when it happens
Very nice and helpfull. See my dozer sound and the beeper. I installed sounds that i took from real dozer and put it inside the card of this ucm beier sound system.
Hello doing this same thing to mine when it gets here. Did you mount the lights directly to the receiver? What channel did you mount it to on the receiver?
Can i just ask you keep saying srink wrap for the for the wiring cabels, here in the uk we call it heat shrink you shrink it with heat around the cable wiring is it the same thing ? Shrink wrap in the uk is mostly clear or sometimes black or other colours and about 1 foof to 8 inch wide and normally used to wrap stacks of boxes on a pallet
Are there Caterpillar decals available to give the unit a genuine realistic look? Would love to see what that would look like as well as a painted operator/driver in the cab. Great videos as always!
What about using a stylus pen when you program your radios we could see what your doing better and you could also use it to point out different features
Crazy sound system Bob!! Hey! Are you OK? Haven't seen or heard anything from you in a while. I've got about $1200 sitting in your Store's Shopping cart, waiting for me to pull the trigger.... But I am concerned about you. You talked about Videos coming up - then nothing. 😲😞
I personally run my Upper lights pointing backwards gives more light for the ripper action. Also I didn't have to disassemble the side plates. I just unscrewed them from the underneath with a flexible screwdriver. Makes it so you have to disassemble way less. I have a video showing the side panels off. ruclips.net/video/Md8TyAOjjCQ/видео.html Makes the wiring pretty easy. Also I have drilled the back like you were saying and run the vent out the top. I'm going to need to go farther with that cause it still pukes oil out when your going uphill. My excavator is a sealed system so I need to figure out how to run it that way. Thanks for the video.
Another trick is if removing under screws on side skirts spin your drive gear around using transmitter to remove each grub screw that allows your ring gear to slip off the hub gives you a lot more wiggle room. Started adding my lights thought they would be 5mm yet they are 3mm. Was out of 3mm so I designed 5mm buckets like the stock 3mm. When life gives you a lemon got to make lemonade. 5mm will be brighter also
@@rcscalebuilders8268 I’m hoping to have it finished up this weekend. You can also cut down your Allen wrench for little bolts that provides more room also 🤓 I’m debating to drill for vent hose no where really to go with it unless you drill somewhere and the aluminum is the easy way through. I’ve got some cool aluminum and plastic hose shut off caps. I put a nitro fuel line on the vent makes it easier to flex. I was going to have extra length tucked in the cavity of foe tank. And have the shit off cap exposed as If like another fuel cap
@@thatsmyrc Yeah that sounds like a good idea. I as well will adapt some kind of fitting to make it look factory. Eventually..... I can't stop pushing!! Lol
I just got a DXR 2 dozer and thanks for your video on mixing I have mine running like it should. Thank you very much, looking forward to the next one.
Ya know...people say "what's happening to the world nowadays?" Well I think the world is pretty damn badass when stuff that we could only DREAM of as kids ACTUALLY exists now.
I'm glad you added lights to it to make it lighter lol
I love that you can change what the rotating lights do
Beautiful video 📹 Mr Bob! Requesting the rc4wd 870k wheel loader for part 1,2 and hopefully 😁. 🙏

Fantastic new intro log, Bob!
Thanks! Did you watch the last 6 seconds?
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Honestly, I didn't. I usually exit as the videos near near the end. I just went back & watched the last few seconds. Cute lil pup!
Another great vid Bob thanks again
Thanks! Great vidio. looking forward to bier sound videos.

Hi Bob

Great vid as usual.
I was wondering about that as well
When you add multiple lights on one channel (like I did here) they can sometimes get out of sync. You just power down and power up to re-set.
Another great vid from Winston productions :)

It is worth waiting for. Wait till you see next few videos!! Hang on! Make sure you tell RC4WD you like my videos!
Such a cool dozer and love the lights. Also great new logo!
Thanks for making this video Bob. I look forward to installing this sound system in my dozer, should make my videos more realistic! cheers
have you put it in the dirt yet bob . never gets any dirt on it . looks nice tho

It starts throwing tracks when it happens
What happened to the flashing lights one of them doesn’t always flash
They get of sync sometimes when I am playing around with wiring. To re-set you just need to power down then power up again.
hi there mine has just arrived to the UK from China ... its insane .......
Will you be selling a sound and light kit for this dozer.
Very nice and helpfull. See my dozer sound and the beeper. I installed sounds that i took from real dozer and put it inside the card of this ucm beier sound system.
I need I8M speak control what one do you advise Because I want to buy a motorcycle battery on my truck so I can run some lights I lot of light
Is there a link that I can go to so I can order one and I'm sure there would be much more I'd be interested in buying as well

Aliexpress
You should paint it to match your Hemett and low boy trailer.....look like the d10's I saw in Iraq breaking the berms when the war started
Hello doing this same thing to mine when it gets here. Did you mount the lights directly to the receiver? What channel did you mount it to on the receiver?
Kool video 👌 but wen will you be getting more strobe lights back in stock
Not until the first part of April.
Hey Bob hope everything is okay been awhile since we've heard from you!
Was on vacation in Arizona for a month. Back now!

RC4WD

I probably should call it shrink tube. It comes in various sizes and color but I mostly use black.
I wish the dozer was available as a kit to assemble yourself
I saw something on AliExpress of some sort of hydraulic dozer kit form not the dxr2.

Hi. You can see in my channel. I took some decals that i found in ebay. But the black mark around the cabin i made it . Tx
Yes, I have them and will be in an upcoming video.
rc4wd sells the light kit for the dozer
only one strobe going now . u better check it again bob .
Hi Bob real nice video, How much did the dozer set you back ?
