I never comment on RUclips videos, but you guys are excellent! Beautiful family, scenery, editing, attitude, and demeanor. Watching your videos makes me happy! I lived in Maine for 18 years and Alaska for 3 years. In Georgia now. These videos make me want to get back into it. Thanks guys!
Our local boaters association along with BC Forestry made that shelter happen where you guys stayed on the muskwa river. It was built just before you got there. Great video. Love to see you enjoyed my back yard!!!
you're travelling through the beautiful Peace Country. I have a brother that lives in Farmington (close to Kiskatinaw), you drove over the old Alaska Highway and wood bridge. I recognized the Taylor steel bridge and I have family that live in Fort St. John. We just moved to southern B.C. I love hearing what others think of our beautiful Province. I hope you enjoy Liard Hot springs. Safe travels!
Great video, I loved your daughter's excitement at the werewolf tracks and the squirrel, very cute. It's great seeing people's excitement when they recognize you. I was stationed in Alaska in the 90's and drove up the ALCAN myself. Those young men will have plenty of camping opportunities while they're up there. I'm looking forward to what comes next for you guys.
Great footage! Our kind of travel. 45 days till we head up the Alcan ourselves for our 2 months of summer 2022 fun! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Great job with these vids Kevin ! And your content is so fun and it's just got the right touch of adventure, riding, drone footage...talking, family, etc...and the way you mix it with such great "feel-good" music. Yeah AY !!! Keep it up
I was fortunate to do the ALCAN in 2000, and this video brought back so many memories. Such an awesome adventure you're having together with your family, thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Thank you! Great Alaska series. It's late but I'm still going to keep watching. So many questions to ask you. Really hope to bump into you and your family one day. Keep exploring and stay healthy.
So well done, the scenery, the music, the family relationship. I grew up in an outdoors, camping family, seems as more affluent it turned to resorts, fancy hotels, lost the finer aspect of life, always in a hurry.
You couldn't have a cuter daughter. She's adorable. I hope my 7 year old little lady sees the outdoors with at least a little of the same enthusiasm as she does. Keep up the good work.
Oh my. really enjoying the trip. Just need to say I can't tell you how many times my wife and I have had the "cinnamon bun" conversation when traveling.
Here is a tip for you, when on the dirt road sections, if you see a truck coming from the other direction, bring your vehicle to a complete stop until he passes. If you do not do this, the gravel that is kicked up will chip or crack your windshield. Been there done that.
Solid trip guys! Has to be one of the most scenic drives on the planet. If you pass by Vancouver on the way home and need a place for laundry, showers and a meal feel free to hit me up!
I quite enjoyed this episode. I’ve watched about seven or eight of them and if there’s anything that I could complain about is that if you quickly showed us where you are in the map instead of stopping the video and searching on Apple Maps or Google maps or a paper map- it be a benefit. Thanks. The smiles on the soldiers and your faces after meeting was wonderful to watch. (And you too!) And Caroline handing out those patches was so cool. She’s part of the team 👍👍👍
I love your videos . It's super amazing see the beauty, the adventure in it and the stunning sceneries. Thanks for sharing and keep it coming. I have been traveling through these amazing places through your videos. Thank you so much. !!!!!!And stay safe.
This video was my favorite so far! Really nice balance of scenic shots and narrative, plus Caroline was super cute haha Really enjoy these keep up the great work!
All right, so I found your channel like 2 or 3 days ago. You might say I'm hooked. Finally, I'm caught up w/ your travels & want MORE!!! I dreamed of Overlanding to Alaska w/ my ex-wife & our kids. We went camping a few times but she was less than outdoorsy ;-) so that dream never manifested. You guys truly are an inspiration in more than just your travels! Keep it up! A humble request (weird as it may sound), show us what the clean up after breakfast (dishes & cooking area) is like.
Beautiful just beautiful video great country brought back a lot of good memories I took that trip back in 09 from lake Louise to Dawson City with my son I'm really glad you're enjoying the trip and I got a big laugh when your daughter said it's not a dog it's a werewolf track made me laugh can't wait for the next one. 👍👍😁🇨🇦
5:40 I think you’re WAY underestimating the werewolf threat in Canada 😂 I made that drive in 2017 and loved it, wish I did more side trips off the main road like you did.
Our brand new 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium is on its way to us. The next thing is the Turtleback. :-) You guys motivate more people than you would think! :-)
Pure awesomeness!!! There is a truck stop north of Denver CO on I25 that has cinnamon buns that are larger, one person can't or shouldn't eat bye themselves. You made me drool with that one tho.....
Your pronunciation of Kiskatinaw was pretty accurate. You camped by the famous curved bridge just north of Dawson Creek. The scenery up that way is awesome.
I know I am late commenting here, but I love to see comments about the amount of drive time that you have GPS coordinates in case we want to hit those locations, and other information about each little stop that you make. My family is enjoying your family's Journey. We hope to get out there soon.
That shelter with fire pit was pretty cool. Everything was so clean. I like that you're teaching Caroline that the simple things in life are important and taking time to slow down and not to be so quick to jump to the next thing, next To Do on the list. Great job guys!
My favorite part was: Caroline: what are we doing here? what are we doing here? what are we doing here? Sarah: Oh, mommy kinda has a wild hair. So funny. Keep up the excellent vid work. Epic journey.
Excellent! It seems that everyone that goes to Alaska MUST stop for cinnamon buns along the way. ;-) So glad to see how well you treated the military guys. That was very cool for all of you involved. I think you have set a new bar on video editing. Great job on this one. Caroline did a fantastic job handing out the patches. I love to watch how she runs around when playing and to keep asking about the cinnamon bun stop was very funny. Looking forward to the next installment.

I love your videos but this one was off the charts good!! Stunning photography and great music! Thanks for your comment to me about Gaia and Android a few weeks ago. I found a few work arounds for Gaia on Android since. I am using a iPhone 7, two Android tablets and Android head unit. Leighton, thanks so much for the feedback! Sounds like you've got an incredible adventure ahead of you. You can always reach out to us directly with any questions you might have. We're here to help! I'll leave you with one tip for tonight; be prepared for the internet struggles of the north country. Very few places have it, and when they do the upload speeds are non-existent. Once I spent about 14 hours uploading an episode. Keep us updated!
Lifestyle Overland Thank you for your offer to reach out to you directly! I may take you up on that. I hear you about Internet challenges. When I use to cover sailboat racing in various parts of the world I had to deal with some upload challenges once and a while. I remember one time it took my 8 hours to upload a ten minute video. Luckily on this trip I will be in a major city from Thursday to Monday every week. Except for the trip to Anchorage and back. Those weeks will be a little different. I should be able to use the WiFi at the churches I will be hosted by every week. Thanks again!!
I love this channel and your videos! you guys do a great job capturing the scenery, wildlife and your daily routine to make it seem like we're right there with you. One of my favorite channels to watch on RUclips! The music selection throughout your videos has been great and definitely adds a lot. I've learned of a bunch of new artists and songs because of your music taste. Could you help me out and tell me the artist and song that starts at 14:50? It's played a few times in this video, but I can't figure out who it is. Thanks for the entertainment and keep up the good work!

Safe travels!
Nice the expedition truck you saw on the highway is from my state in germany!
Hey there! Thanks so much for the support! It's "Run by Tyler Williams". I also just added all the song info to the description (forgot this time!).
