Hey Sam the only thing I noticed was a few concrete piers didn't exactly lineup with metal studs but looks beautiful and structuraly sound great job☺️👍
I'm thinking the pier needed to be moved over a little almost didn't have enough room to screw on the base but hey it's all good it worked and both you'll did a great job.
Oh so incredible that you got that built in one day and it is looking so incredible. thanks so much for another great video, and I am wishing you a great rest of your day and restful evening, sending love and hugs, bye! 😅😉🥰🤗👍💜💜
We have these type buildings here to stack hay rolls under. You can buy a large roll up canvas etc side for them. Open when you want it. Drop when some shade or wind blockage needed.
Sam, we have a carport like that and we had problems with birds making nests under the roof. You might have to put some metal netting like chicken wire on the rafters. Also, we installed plastic caps on the openings of the tubing (four bottoms) to keep critters and bugs from crawling inside and to keep rain out.
I have one same size on a 6inch slab with walls. Has a roll up shop door on one end and a metal standard door and a window. I did the slab. They came out and had mine up in 10hrs. They always bring extra material in case something messes up. I ended up with enough spare square tubing and metal to make a lean to off one side big enough to put my 20ft center console boat under. It is truly amazing how quick they can put these things up!
We had 2 0f these buildings put up. 28x40.. bought one from Florida based and one from Texas based. 2 guys showed up. One of them was the same for both buildings. He claimed that all the companies that sell these buildings are all under 1. Even though the prices were different. We were in Oregon and this guy lived in Oregon but traveled all over. It still only took 1 day for one of the buildings and on the 2nd one, he was sick so 1 guy put up the entire building in 2 days by himself while Ramondo (the boss) was in the pickup sick. Was so awesome watching them work. He literally carried 20’ pieces of roofing up by himself and walked around on the roof installing it.
It's definitely a game changer. You both were correct letting the crew build it. It's obvious they do this regularly. It looks fantastic! Now you can put your tractors 🚜 🚜, truck 🛻, and car 🚗 inside.
"Balance my jabber with you." 😅🤣🤣🤣 LOVE starting my day out with you guys!! Laughing is the world's BEST MEDICINE!! 🤣🤣 Hope everyone has an awesomely blessed week!! Great shed!(the piers are off a smudge but looks great from here!😀)
Have you thought about closing in the back and sides? Not necessary but would be cool! Looks really good with the matching roof with the shed! Great addition to the homestead! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Absolutely great crew and a wonderful addition to your homestead. I think that some of the piers being off centre from the frame anchors is not really a big problem for the build as it is not really going to matter as the weight of the building will keep it secured to the piers. The main thing I noticed was that the gable end trim was under the roofing sheets. This could be a big problem when the winds pick up as this could cause uplift on the end of the sheets and rip it off. Great partnership between you both and always a treat when a notification that Green Acre Homestead has posted pops up. Well done on the great work and wonderful vlogs.
Wow Those Guys Made it Look So Easy!! You made the Right Choice to HAVE IT DONE! Those Guys worked TOGETHER like a Well oiled Machine. I was thinking Picnices & Parties too..Can't wait to See Sam & Angela under that Disco ball dancing! God Bless...
Any plans to add sides ? More weather protection. Also company match up roof color with your other buildings very good . Look forward to seeing what you end up putting, storing , parking in there . A lot of rain and snow cover this winter
He said in the first video discussing it that they are planning on enclosing the three sides making it into an enclosed carport. As long as he doesn't close the fourth side making it a garage it'll still show as a carport on insurance.
Hey guys, sam you kinda need to wire up some lights and a few plug outlets in your new carport shed thingy love you guys always like family and may God bless you and your families always hope to hear back from you guys soon 🙏😊🎉❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🤩⭐🌟✨⛩️🐜🕸️🦉🐷🙊🙉🙈🕳️🎉😻🤎💜💙💚💛🖤💝💘
A wonderful addition to your homestead - work or play!! And aren't you glad to have it done in ONE day without lifting a finger (except the ones writing the check). The crew did a great teamwork job.
It is absolutely astonishing the work you did preparing for that barn construction as well as the men who put the building together. Unbelievable work! Goes to show you, man/woman is capable of anything, No sides to the barn? I was expecting it to be enclosed on all sides. Still a beautiful piece of construction.
Excellent and I am so happy for you and your homestead. So nice to keep things out of the weather and keep them protected. I understand your excitement~~~Well Done!!! Bravooooooooo Good call!!!
Did you use TNT Car ports out of North Carolina? They built an RV Cover for us that looks like the one you had built. Ours is on gravel, we added mobile home anchors after they were done for additional anchors.
Some of those piers were barely in the line that was needed for the mounts. As precise as you are Sam, that surprised me. Whatever ends well, is well. What a useful building!!
maybe the piers werent exact as the building frame, but they sure could of center it out, also why didnt he put the ladder in the center to pick it up lol
I’m sure there are options you could add from the company that put this up. I saw Lowe’s has some roof panels that are textured that might provide some sound deadening from rain. It will be interesting to see how you dress it up. Excellent drone footage and music selection.
Sam…Wow this is soooo cool! You guys really needed something like this! This should make your lives so much easier I would think! Enjoy you guys deserve it!
Yep! Get out the metal detector! You know there are screws in that area!!!! I'm still finding them 3-1/2 yrs later! The equipment-port look fantastic!!!! 😊
My folks also have a 20 x 40 building like this though it is only about 9- 10 feet tall. They are 91 years old and love sitting in it watching the cars on the road. I just put 1/8 aircraft cable around the sides and put tarps with zipties on the north and west sides to block the wind. It should give them another month of use here in Ohio. It is a great shelter for the family reunions as you can easilly put two long rows of tables inside. I think when they put it up about 10 years ago it cost them about $1500. You probably could not touch for twice that amount now. But they have really gotten the use out of it.
Great addition your gonna love it. We had a 20x20 built for us, we use it all the time.. I live in AZ the desert therefore have placed shade screen on both side to shield from the sun , it helps immensely. Also i built sheds for the end of my shed where the tools go. Enjoy it.
Wow. Those guys are awesome. Definitely a 3 man job. Would have been very tricky for your family to achieve that safely. Especially the climbing on the rafters to attach the cross members
That really looks good, I've told some people on youtube that they needed one of these to place the travel trailer that they are living in under. It protects them from the Sun ,Rain, Hail and snow , it also gives them some shade so the ac runs less, and when they are done building their tiny house they can use it for their equipment and cars.
What I noticed, and thought right away, oh no, they are putting the roof pieces on wrong side up! Then I thought when you showed a shot from above, I decided you had that done to match your other roof colors. My husband and I have made two smaller units similar to this, and let me tell you, those arches are heavy, and the whole thing is a lot of hard work, and there were holes where we missed screwing the roof and side on.
So happy for you being able to have them build it for you. So much better than all the sweat and tears you would have gone through. A lot bigger than I thought it would be. You two work so hard anyway this was a free pass for you. Neat and clean too.
Would you want sides put on in the future? Maybe you could have a closed pole building. Just a thought. I think it looks great and will come in very handy to keep things out of the weather.
Congratulations. Love the addition. I’m sure the workers appreciated the hard work done before they arrived makes their job easier I would think. Susan
Hey when did you do the metal roof on your workshop? Yeah I'm guessing whoever put the pillars up had some wabby sabby going on lol. It all worked out thank goodness
A nice 20x40 umbrella for your tractors and vehicles. I like the party idea You could get a lot of people under there for a BBQ. I noticed Sam made sure the front lines up symmetrically with the shed. So happy for you guys
Hey Sam the only thing I noticed was a few concrete piers didn't exactly lineup with metal studs but looks beautiful and structuraly sound great job☺️👍
My mom was of the thought that if the guys were working and doing a good job that you fed them up and they never forget a kindness ❤
Set lunch up in advance, and they will truly love it But keep it lite
I'm thinking the pier needed to be moved over a little almost didn't have enough room to screw on the base but hey it's all good it worked and both you'll did a great job.
I saw that, I was wondering why it wasn't being mounted on top.
I'm thinking the same thing.
Yep that had to be it
That team putting the shed together was amazing!
Looks like on one side the piers were too far off center. Hopefully what ever type of concrete fasteners were used are not too close to,the edge.
Como siempre los latinos trabajando duró buen trabajo
Great video Sam and Angela
Oh so incredible that you got that built in one day and it is looking so incredible. thanks so much for another great video, and I am wishing you a great rest of your day and restful evening, sending love and hugs, bye! 😅😉🥰🤗👍💜💜
We have these type buildings here to stack hay rolls under. You can buy a large roll up canvas etc side for them. Open when you want it. Drop when some shade or wind blockage needed.

Your peers weren't in line. But you did a great job.😊
Thanks for the tips and ideas! I bet the roof would be a wonderful bird habitat.
Agreed. The bird poop would drive me nuts 😮
rubber snakes hung in random spots will keep the birds out and is a cheap fix.
I have one same size on a 6inch slab with walls. Has a roll up shop door on one end and a metal standard door and a window. I did the slab. They came out and had mine up in 10hrs. I love the carport! ❤
The only thing that caught my attention was some of the base mounting screws looked a little close to the edge of some the piers
Awesome 🤩 you both are a riot
😊😊😊😊😅😅😅
I wouldn't even worry about it 💯✌🏻 just enjoy the car port I can't wait for you guys to put the tin on the sides 💯✌🏻😎💪🏻
I hope during a hard rain, your workshop doesn’t get flooded😳. Lookin good!!
Those guys are fearless. Beautiful photography. The endgame is a huge and beautiful tractorport, or something like that.
Might want to eventually add "some" skirting on the sides and maybe on the end. Rain and wind usually come together. Great video!
It's definitely a game changer. You both were correct letting the crew build it. It's obvious they do this regularly. It looks fantastic! Now you can put your tractors 🚜 🚜, truck 🛻, and car 🚗 inside.
May the lord bless and protect you and your family
That was an awesome build
"Balance my jabber with you." 😅🤣🤣🤣 LOVE starting my day out with you guys!! Laughing is the world's BEST MEDICINE!! 🤣🤣 Hope everyone has an awesomely blessed week!! Great shed!(the piers are off a smudge but looks great from here!😀)
Wow those people worked like a well oiled machine ❤
Very cool. Wish the piers lined up better? You will love this addition.
Awesome drone footage
Was the framing put on the pillars centered? From some angles it looked like it was right on the edge
The brackets were bolted down center so do it wouldnt matter if the uprights looked on tje edge
Hi Sam and Angela. That’s a really nice carport, etc..! I’m sure you will get many years of use out of it.😊
I’m thinking the piers may be off some, but hey, it worked out!! Great job!
The crew did a very good job
Well money spend. Congrat, looks awesome 🎉 Party time.
Install crew was good ! I'm guessing base not centered on concrete posts ?
Im wondering if that was because the piers where too far apart width wise to be able to center. or if they didnt center when placing....?
That’s a great addition to your space. Those guys make it look easy, awesome job!
Have you thought about closing in the back and sides? Not necessary but would be cool! Looks really good with the matching roof with the shed! Great addition to the homestead! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
He stated on another video that they are planning to add siding on the walls later on.
Awesome job they did love the drone view I was nervous when they was on the rooftop like it was nothing they diffently been doing that professional 😍😅
The truck/equipment port looks great!! Everything is looking great at the homestead!! I love your channel and your family!! God bless!
Absolutely great crew and a wonderful addition to your homestead. Wow that’s an awesome carport ❤❤❤
0:42 кошак попался на втором плане😂
Thanks so much for bringing us along on this unique build. I believe all of your family will enjoy it. See you all next time.
Very good!! Loved watching this :)
looks awesome y'all 💖
yeah that would be a great place to throw a party of some sort❣️
I hope you guys gave them a homemade meal as a tip these guys are amazing❤❤❤

It's on the list to do. :)
We’re waiting on ours to arrive. I hope they do as good a job as they did with yours. We went with the vertical roof too.
Great job Angela and Sam! At 2:00 you can probably see that more rock should have been placed on the low end/camera end.
A wonderful addition to your homestead - work or play!! And aren't you glad to have it done in ONE day without lifting a finger (except the ones writing the check). The crew did a great teamwork job.
Awesome time lapse 🙏👍🌻
It is absolutely astonishing the work you did preparing for that barn construction as well as the men who put the building together.
Unbelievable work!

No sides to the barn? I was expecting it to be enclosed on all sides.
Still a beautiful piece of construction.
Didn't need eagle eyes to see the base hanging over on one end and barely on the piers by the woods lol...anyways looks good!
Sam , you definitely chose the right music to show us the carport going up .
I'd suggest you block up the ends of the lowest beams that sit on top of the piers. Nice job. 😎 👍
The manufacturer is Steel Craft Structures from NC, but we went through a local dealer lot over here in TN.
Some of those piers were barely in the line that was needed for the mounts. As precise as you are Sam, that surprised me. Whatever ends well, is well. What a useful building!!
That was exactly what I saw, and my reaction.
I agree, looks great but was surprised that the line up wasn't exact. However it looked like a very easy and fast job!
That what I saw too. Off by a couple inches or so.
maybe the piers werent exact as the building frame, but they sure could of center it out, also why didnt he put the ladder in the center to pick it up lol
The piers are to hold it down from wind uplift only. It doesn't matter. It's a metal roofing. The piers don't need to be weight holding.
WELL DONE ENJOYED THE BUILD
I’m sure there are options you could add from the company that put this up. I saw Lowe’s has some roof panels that are textured that might provide some sound deadening from rain. It will be interesting to see how you dress it up. Excellent drone footage and music selection.
I looove the rain hitting a metal roof!!💖
Sam…Wow this is soooo cool! You guys really needed something like this! This should make your lives so much easier I would think! Enjoy you guys deserve it!
Excellent work
It looks good. And I noticed it’s not that big of a deal. God bless.
Excellent job! I can't figure out what egale eyed person can see. It's looks beautiful to me. ❤
Before you start parking anything under it..be sure to go around really good and look for dropped screws.. they do drop them. Lol
Yep! Get out the metal detector! You know there are screws in that area!!!! I'm still finding them 3-1/2 yrs later! The equipment-port look fantastic!!!! 😊
Good job and finally a day with out sweating!
Absolutely love it!!! So excited to see your homestead come together like this. GOD bless

Congratulations! Awesome to watch, we’ll planned. 🤗🤗👍👍
Our 44x55 shop is built like this on a slab. We love it. Will build another for a 2 car garage.
Love the party barn. You guys are just too cute!
2 Peanut Butter sandwiches , chips and a cold glass of milk and I could watch you guys all day🙂
Thanks for the content y’all!
The only thing I saw was a new string line. Is this for your new shop. Carport looks really good
Sharp eyes! It's not what I meant in the video, but you sure can see them! :)
Congratulations on your new addition. Looks great.
Great addition your gonna love it. We had a 20x20 built for us, we use it all the time.. I live in AZ the desert therefore have placed shade screen on both side to shield from the sun , it helps immensely. Also i built sheds for the end of my shed where the tools go. Enjoy it.
Great idea with the shade cloth and tool shed

We agree!
Enjoyed enjoyed enjoyed 👍🤗

Awsome team, awsome building
The right side on concrete pillar is really on edge. The guys made it work
Would you want sides put on in the future? Maybe you could have a closed pole building. Just a thought. I think it looks great and will come in very handy to keep things out of the weather.
We'll close in the sides in the future, yes. We wanted to keep the costs down right now and give us the option to do some add-ons ourselves later.
A wonderful , useful addition to your home stead.....hugs
Very nice addition!
Congratulations. Love the addition. I’m sure the workers appreciated the hard work done before they arrived makes their job easier I would think. Susan
This was awesome! What a crew!
Wow it looks great. So happy for you all
😊bit high for the weather but you can enclose the back...
That was amazing to watch 😮 A well experienced crew . You will have many happy gatherings there 🎉!

Very very nice!!! I really like it.
That is the best builder i cant imaging they finish it very quick👍
It would be a great place to can out of the weather too..
The bloopers at the end were the best
