Don't go through your partner's phone. Not only is it a huge violation of your partner's autonomy but it's also just plain pathetic. Besides what will it get you? BTW, due paucity of IPv4 addresses, many ISPs, atleast in USA, now use private class A network addresses, thereby not exposing the user to the internet at large for incoming connections. And, in turn, made the "public IP" as a separate product - after all, public IP is really needed for an ability to reach a service running there - not really needed for general internet access. The average user with limited networking skills is also better secured than before. Such ISP method is not covered in your video and some new user will see the ISPs public IP when using them for surveying website IP

You have used hashed and encrypted word vice versa. But that's wrong. At 1.25 you said hashed or in other words encrypted.. Which is 100% wrong. Hashing is not encryption. Hashing is 1 way path. Encryption is 2 way that means if you encrypt something you can decrypt it with some key which depends to be same as encryption key or not, depending on the encryption algo you used. Hashing data can not be returned to original format. By the way you may find sites that keep the hashing data in order to map the original data and hashed data, but logically hashed data can't be returned to original format. Please rectify it in further videos.

edit: i wrote it before seeing the brute attack part when he basically say what i wrote lol dictionary attack seems like the type of thing you would do when you are completely hopeless and look for even the smallest chance only to see it fail. if i got it right from what he said, it seems like you need to create a word list with some function on your own of who knows what length (a million?) and hash all of them (if you even know the type of hash they have), then go through all of them with the password you want to crack and hope that you actually created the one you need. this takes a lot of time and effort and depends on how much you want that password cracked.

You have used hashed and encrypted word vice versa. But that's wrong.
At 1.25 you said hashed or in other words encrypted.. Which is 100% wrong. Hashing is not encryption. Hashing is 1 way path. Encryption is 2 way that means if you encrypt something you can decrypt it with some key which depends to be same as encryption key or not, depending on the encryption algo you used.
Hashing data can not be returned to original format.
By the way you may find sites that keep the hashing data in order to map the original data and hashed data, but logically hashed data can't be returned to original format.
Please rectify it in further videos.

edit: i wrote it before seeing the brute attack part when he basically say what i wrote
lol dictionary attack seems like the type of thing you would do when you are completely hopeless and look for even the smallest chance only to see it fail. if i got it right from what he said, it seems like you need to create a word list with some function on your own of who knows what length (a million?) and hash all of them (if you even know the type of hash they have), then go through all of them with the password you want to crack and hope that you actually created the one you need. this takes a lot of time and effort and depends on how much you want that password cracked.
