No match for the US Navy really though. Japan striked with surprise at first, their aircraft carriers which were the future of naval warfare were too old for what the US were building through, same for their battleships even. Nor had they the industrial capacity of the giant they awakened.
@@josselinperouse3323 Japan’s actual navy was fine. It just couldn’t keep up with the fact the US could come back from any defeat. While the Japanese couldn’t afford to do that.

I wonder if their was a mission where a Japanese Destroyer boarded a US Battlecruiser and massacred the crew with katanas and threw their bodies to the sharks, then turned her guns onto her own fleet with a 5th of the Japanese crew onboard
Sadly, there wasn't. But, there was a mission where you, as a US submarine, had to go and destroy a Japanese base and some ships. You had the opportunity to steal a Japanese recon plane and hit the enemy using it. Until you fired at the Japanese with it, the enemy would think that you were on their side! It was pretty fun!
