Well the music doesn't scream WW2 to me, sure it's fitting and actually works really well but it seems fitting for any combat from the 20th century and beyond

we associate US naval warfare with WW2 because thats when the US navy saw the most action
its pretty much impossible to listen to a music for intense naval battle without associating it with a war if you know about war history (most of the players do)
this music doesnt fit any other war that the US is involved in (for the navy) btw
