I believe phone companies need better methods to manage heat without throttling processors. All phones have this issue except those with fans, which are impractical.

@Dinkalinsky Oh yeah, I heard something about the aluminum body. Supposedly it helps to disperse, the heat compared to the titanium. But hopefully, they could finally implement it in the next generation when I'm planning to upgrade to the S26 ultra
@ yeah it would be really good to get an aluminum body that would be best dissipation at its best in a water resistant phone. In either iPhone or Samsung

I went to watch the videos for the iqoo 13 and the vivo x200 pro, you claim the 9400 somehow does better but it is literally running the same or worse than the iqoo 13 in some scenarios🤔 Then there’s the oppo x8 pro that performs better than the vivo x200 pro. There’s also the ROG Phone 9 that performs the best out of them all without active cooling.. Samsung has always underperformed in gaming compared to other phones with the same chipset since the s22 ultra.. Yet you insist that it’s the SoC’s fault and not the manufacturer’s tuning of the chipset? Idrc to go against or in favor of any manufacturer but you just seem very biased against Qualcomm, why?
Thank you for making this video. I thought 8 Elite for Galaxy would bring much difference, but apparently not. I don't really need a phone too right now, so I will wait for S25 Edge or S26

@@rinnychor Samsung should just give up on making their own stuff (chip related).
Samsung with exynos processor is like getting premium fuel on a lawn mover, it consume a lot and heats a lot. performance also dissapointing.
Lol no s24 plus exynos beat 8gen3 in gaming so no and in many games spcially war thunder it pushes over 100 fps lol no you crapdragon fans can cry but its great chip @@rinnychor
Close the background apps before testing
For those interested in heavy games on android, s25 ultra cost 1300e, while redmagic 10 pro cost 650e. Redmagic has best cooling system, it keeps max settings genshin 60fps on 33 celsius after 1h of gaming. For 650e get a gaming phone plus 300e daily phone for rainy days. Total cost 950e, less than s25 ultra, with better system to play games. Redmagic 10 pro has ip rating 55, if it was splashproof and more frequent software updates it would be one of the best daily use/gaming phones
Hey mate, excellent gaming review, i got subscribe for later videos.
One question have you considered to test the gaming test with a controller with a Peltier to compare temperatures (for example one video with and the other without) and also there's an app call floating monitor it's free and can display the battery and cpu temperature (to make the comparison). Have good day, we are reaching the weekend yeeey 🎉
55:48 brother you played for 2hrs and 50minutes 100% - 42 percentage 58%dropped after this test
Luv your content ❤🎉
2:56 you closed gaming hub and it went into abyss but gaming hub is right there on home screen , it should have closed onto that.
Looks like samsung has lot to work on animations
Game booster takes you to system settings not the gaming hub that's why it did that
9400 or snap elite best for gaming?
9400
I think my Z60 Ultra is still doing great, we've reached the point that the problem isn't the CPU/GPU, but the developer's optimization
Forgot this was a phone review when he started fighting the new weekly boss
35:05 This happens across all snapdragon8e platforms,including my iqoo13😂.
Gonna wait for s26 ultra next 😂. Because I'm using s23 ultra rn and i think it'll still gets updated
Can you also do a gaming test on OnePlus 13
How are the speakers?
awesome! were very good on S24U but theyve made them even better
@opsion. How did you know? Did you own one?
I have the S24 Ultra and I'm a regular CoD Mobile player. I really hoped that we could finally play Ultra fps with max graphics on the new 2025 flagships, but seems like I'll have to wait for a couple more years. 120fps with mid graphics simply won't do.
Gotta ask the game developer to enable those options
I am able to play Gennis impact on my iphone 14 pro max at 120fps, why on s25 uptra is only at 60?
120 fps is exclusive to apple.
Not ever pc have it
I have an iPad Pro M4. On max settings, it gets very hot after abt 10 mins, even though it's cold where I am. It’s definitely not running at 120 FPS, so having 120 FPS feels pointless. However and this is a big but, why is there no 120 FPS on PC? That’s really disappointing
@@yagerq M4 is bad for gaming lol slap a macbook cpu on a ipad and termals are so bad. if you somehow make it not overheat it can play the game 120 fps no problem
@@MdTarik-e4z well not to mention iphone 15 pro 16 pro has metalfx in genshin enchances graphics and pixel density and even that can run 120 fps in some cases 80-90 fps Snapdragon is so bad optimized never saw my even old iphone 13 pro dropping to 30-40 fps in zzz
Gotta also consider the fact that the S25u has a higher resolution than the 14 Pro Max. The iPhone has the benefit of games being optimized for it and a lower resolution which gives it more headroom.
can you do a battery test on the s25 standard?
Hey, can you switch off GOS and make another video?
Have to wait for lots of updates for optimization give it time and im sure it will be fine in a few months like the s23 ultra
Could you test shutter lag and whether it can take photos of fast moving subject ?
That's not shutter lag, that's the shutter speed
@NasiLemakTech sorry I meant could you test whether there is shutter lag present
its more of a processing delay.. samsung stacks multiple images to get better post processing quality thats why you're missing the perfect shot. you can change that on the camera settings but it does not entirely eliminate the delay and the image quality tanks really hard. idk why samsung is doing this over processed images.
@@heyitsmejm4792 I saw from other Reddit post Samsung intentionally lowers the shutter speed, for unknown reasons. This is why Samsung users experience this "lag" and cannot take their perfect shot
@@heyitsmejm4792i think you're talking the shutter lag.
there's a difference between shutter speed and shutter lag
THANK YOU BRO ❤ I realy whant to see the max setings that we can use on s25U ty sir 40:12
I mean, performance is generally acceptable, but WZM throttling is mind-numbing... prolly due to optimization. Also, (idk if this is true)... but didn't GPU watch cause a performance hit? Also, why did it do especially well on Geek culture's test?
Probably room temperature?
performance s not acceptable if you compare other flagships like iphone.
Nice review sir 🔥. But when redmagic 10 pro gaming review?
Not gonna get the Redmagic 10 Pro
I believe phone companies need better methods to manage heat without throttling processors. All phones have this issue except those with fans, which are impractical.
That's what I was saying. There's no way to dissipate the heat from an enclosed phone efficiently
@ I was thinking vapor chambers and an aluminum body is the peak of what you can do. But like lots of vapor chambers over key areas which Samsung currently lacks.
Passive coolers can only do so much, unfortunately.
We do have the Frore AirJet fans but they're not implemented in any devices yet.
Damn is not that much better than S24 ultra
I didn't have that issue on CODW, but, mine just got stuck on the loading screen. I have the S23U.
Considering that genshin is not well optimized for android as it is for iphone it performed really well
Please test OnePlus 13 ❤
Please try meadowfell. It's an indie game open world with good graphics. You can see the render resolution and has various graphics settings.
is up to not optimisation of games dude. optimisation means a lot.
to survive more in war thunder, angle your armor. have your turret faced the enemy but the hull is not directly looking at the enemy
also dont use HEAT, the APHE on the panzer 4 is already good enough
or i reccomend using the t34 platoons (which can be angled way better because of sloped armor]
Cualquier cosa preguntenlen a Gemini xd.
This is crazy, i think I'll keep my S24U, the thermal throttling really lower those fps.
Yeah it's not a big leap over the 8 Gen 3
I went to watch the videos for the iqoo 13 and the vivo x200 pro, you claim the 9400 somehow does better but it is literally running the same or worse than the iqoo 13 in some scenarios🤔
Then there’s the oppo x8 pro that performs better than the vivo x200 pro.
Disappointing chip after the hype tbh
S25 edge will be even worse
It is a slim phone which simply means worse battery, worse thermals, more throttling.
And samsung is no chinese company that they will use a carbon sillicon battery on a slim phone to give it a high mAh battery
@@whydoineedname4932 Yes, but I can tollerate that on slimmer phone 🤠
@@ylle45 no really just Samsung that is disappointing, I use a red magic 10 phone with the 8 elite and it can play zzz at a solid 60fps, the lowest I have seen it go is 50 at worst. The chip is AMAZING and can play every single mobile game at a solid 60fps no problem, it is just that Samsung sucks at thermals, I mean they always have, that is why they got caught using software that only lets it use its full power in benchmarks, but throttles in everything else, so much so they got banned from benchmarks.
@@nigelthornberry7513 bruh it's a phone made for gaming what do you expect
Yoo NLT can you pls do a gaming test with the iQoo neo 10 pro pls bro
i hate when they do force the max performance in these kind of gaming test and then complain on the temperature lol.
Maybe Samsung needs to optimize the games for phones.
The GPU was constantly hitting 100% during the test, meaning it was limited to a very low frequency (~400-500Mhz I would guess). Very disappointing!
why fps drop.
Thermals. Snapdragon 8 Elite is hot
So is the SD 8 Elite a disappointment then? 🤔
Elite and gen 3 is a disappointment compared to gen 2.
@@H2f1sh just wonder with the SD8E having its thermal issues, are people still going to defend it. I mean this is what people wanted SD globally
@@NasiLemakTechthats y iphone has better gaming performances
Would you consider Oppo X8 Pro better in terms of performance?
MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is better in general
@@NasiLemakTech Seems like I'm going to try it after ditching my Samsung phone just yesterday...thanks!
@@NasiLemakTech
In your tests using the mediatek dimensity 9400 you never boosted the resolution outside the game on the devices you tested like you have done here with the galaxy ultra and those options were available like on the Vivo x200pro which you didn't enable.
So did those tests on the mediatek chipset run at that same render resolution as the elite in this video seeing as though as I mentioned above you boosted the resolution outside the game to maximum for the elite chipset but didn't for the devices with the mediatek and you also never showed the render resolution for the games you tested on the mediatek?
Would be nice if you make a comparison video between the chipsets all running at the same resolution if possible for a more definitive and clear answer.
Thanks for sharing all these results with us! Subscribed!
Thank you for your hard work and honesty your gaming reviews are amazing
Samsung phone is not suitable for gaming.. You will get a green line after the warranty ends
s23 ultra in Fortnite on ultra settings temperature 45.46 and starts 40 fps maximum only on medium settings is 60 fps to 90 fps with normal use 38.40 this is the temperature of this phone and the screen brightness drops to half
performence mode lowers graphic setting u need to test it on quality mode not performence
In genshin impact the fps really drops like to 39, and 50. But in iQOO 13 with same soc it perfectly gets 60fps and 144fps constant with iQOO fg. ( Personally tested). I think samsung need to optimise this
iQOO performs better on Genshin because of that Q2 coprocessor.
Other games like ZZZ, performs the same
my F6 runs genshin and ZZZ at "1220p" and runs almost like this, I think it's the fault of the optimization of the game.
Definitely not 1220p on the F6
@NasiLemakTech Somehow the performance markers show, but something close to 1080p? games don't necessarily use the maximum resolution, maybe Samsung already changes the resolution on the screen itself
How come you never try emulators ?🤔🤔
That weekly boss in genshin is very ez to beat if u use fire main character it's because he is very buffed in this fight only inside the weekly boss domain
Mine is using the dendro set lmao
A software update should make this better , cuz there's no way the fps is that jumpy . It doesn't know if it wants to be high or low .
8 elite chipset is not new, its been out for a while i dont think it will improve.
@whatitfeels. I know but the S25 seems to perform worse than other 8 elite devices. It's always like this
give it a few weeks to optimise. It will have better performance
With moba games settings, frames are the most important, so I prefer to set it to the highest it can do. like 120 fps max. And see if the phone can do stable 120 or not😸
For gaming use iphone rog or redmagic 10.
We did.
