This is one of my favorite guitars. Not for its flash, not for its swagger, but for how it plays, feels, and sounds. I also own several original 540 Radius guitars. The Radius has a different neck, but it's a really good neck. A little flatter radius compared to the JS series. A little chunkier too. I sand the finish off of the back of my Radius guitars to make them ultra smooth and to lightly alter the profile. Perfection. The JS feels very much like a early vintage Fender Strat, but only those magical early 70's examples that were few and far between. I love the JS and Radius equally.
Great showcase of different songs/styles. I was hoping for something from Clapton, SRV, or Gilmour to see how the JS series sounds like when playing a tune associated with Strat, but I’m still really happy overall. Great job!
