As you guys are probably the #1,367th You Tubers eating at Katz's! OK, try Mile End Deli in Brooklyn forr their Montreal smoked meat & other savory dishes!
When there’s so many videos about Katz Deli, it becomes very boring and generic and even annoying. I don’t even watch the videos because it’s a waste of time and didn’t watch this one
It’s actually open 24 hours on the weekends! Even though we’re local we wanted to go midday to make it more realistic for tourists but it’s relatively empty until 9 am most days
@@travelfuller If the two of you ever travel to Montreal Canada there are great delis. Schwartz's is the most popular. There are also many restaurants to review.
@@BunnyWatson-k1w thanks for the tip! We’ve been a couple times, but that was before we started our channel so we will have to go back and check them out!
Love all your videos guys, just getting to your pastrami series. Super appreciate going for the Meg Ryan hair style for this video Kristin! Nice bonus! 👌 Looking forward to the Pastrami Queen episode whenever you guys get to it!
Next time, you have to get a potato knish and a Cel-Ray tonic with your pastrami on rye with mustard. It’s a classic combination. The thought of it makes me want to drive the 200 miles and get one
So many people on a couple other reviews I saw complain about the price but you're right, it's basically a sandwich for two. A great sandwich for 13/14 bucks is not really expensive anymore, especially one with their quality of meat.
The number of your subscribers is marching towards the 1000 mark! Congratulations! I just subscribed too. I have my own channel, and I know how it is to get there😢 I like your videos, the filming and editing is amazing!
If you go to Texas and get Smoked Brisket...the price is per pound its $28 to $30 dollars in all the BBQ restaurants...Katz puts a pound of meat on each sandwich.....The difference is you can get how much or little you want.....in Texas...It would be better at Katz if you could say half pound...and only pay for half a pound.
You lose the coupon, and you pay 50 dollars. That's a very good cheap deal. A pastrami sandwich, fries, drinks, latkes, soup etc, will cost more than 50usd.
Schwartz’s SUCKS!!! come on, you gotta be kidding me… There is one best pastrami sandwich in the world, he finally ate there… you get what you pay for, didn’t your dad teach you that?
For $10 USD you can get Schwartz's Deli in Montreal. Definitely worth a visit.
That sounds amazing! We’ll definitely have to check it out
You, can also go to Sarge's deli. Which is definitely better 😮
@@alexkoronec4326 Absolutely NOT better. Nope. Sorry.

@@ramencurry6672probably because there losing money. And need more tourists to spend money. I stopped going years ago. 😮
Katz's opens at 8 am. I would suggest doing lunch in reverse with breakfast. There are no long lineups if you go early in the morning.

Thank you! Haha oh my gosh that wasn’t even intentional. But shoot we need to do that. We’ve been there a bunch too!
I love Katz’s!! Pastrami Queen is amazing!! I have heard Zabar’s make a terrific pastrami on rye! Extra pickles and mustard!!
We've never tried Zabar but we'll have to add it to the list!

Exactly! Although I regret calling it a “great deal.” It’s still expensive but it really isn’t that bad for the size of it and for the city

There is none better than Katz's. None.
Completely agree!
Well, I quess your entitled to your opinion. 😂
you do the sourcream and apple sauce together
The 2nd Avenue speakeasy would have been a much cooler vid. Every foodie is going to Katz’s
Good to know! We’ll have to make one on it
A meal for two? Heck no, I would be eating the whole thing by myself 😂
The rudest staff even NYC standards
Kristin just sold a thousand sandwiches 😂😂😂
$27 but ur expected to tip the cutter too, then tax on that
Every time she says in these videos "I can't get my mouth around this" I say: "that's what she said!". Enjoy your vids.
Thanks! And yeah, can't believe you're the first person to comment this
I doubt you’ve ever heard it yourself though.
So that's about $34-$38 CAD for just the sandwich!?

It’s a ticket per person, so it would be $100.
I love pastrami on rye sandwiches and Reubens so this is one place I need to stop in 👍👍
I had a feline you would go to katz it looks deli-ightful?!
Haha it was purr-fect!

Are you Adam Sandler’s son?
Maybe, maybe not!
Who cares because you can get actual wagyu beef in Japan for that price.
Miss the old Carnegie Del!
Wish we could’ve tried it!
My favorite meal from Katz: pastrami on rye with mustard, steak fries, cel-ray soda, cheesecake.
Ehhhhhh it’ll do.
For as fit as she is, I don't see her eating all of her food.
