The biggest project of lino print made so far by Aga Kubish (63x35.4 inches).
'Panorama of Kew Gardens' like the previous lino print of 'Palm House' has been inspired by the amazing botanical garden Kew Gardens in London.
Victorian architecture is connected with huge and marvelous plants giving us an incredible combination of textures and shades.
This time Aga chose the biggest available size of lino block. Rough lino printing technique is changing in subtle engraved fine lines to provide you 3D dimensions and feeling of the depth.

    AGA KUBISH ARE
Aga Kubish ARE is an award-winning artist printmaker specialising in very detailed, large linocuts.
Aga is looking for additional forms of expression in the raw lino printing technique.
Kubish works without a press, making huge linocuts by hand, searching for a range of shades between black and lights. For her, linocut is an optimal combination of graphics and sculpture, and she draws inspiration from nature, sketching based on her own photos. In her free time, she draws with pencils and paints oil paintings.
Kubish was born in Poland in 1979, currently lives and works in Somerset, a self-taught printmaker, a member of the RE and has exhibited in art galleries around the UK. Her works can be found in numerous private collections around the world.
