I've come to the conclusion that it's not printing that's the ART - it's the carving! Epic!!! The patience, the accuracy... mind-blowing!
and the design phase as well. without the artwork there would be nothing to carve or print. this guy is absolutely amazing as a artist in all regards!
Ive found myself trying to do prints its everything. Even for me the inking of the block. The paper. The brayer. The ink you are using. And for me without a real press the pressure you put on it. It all changes how the final print looks. But i am in no way an artist like him. Just enjoy doing it. Love watching his videos and him work. Definitely inspiring!

Watching woodblock carvings across youtube lead me here and wow this was amazing. You sir are a master of this craft. And you take it to a whole different level when you yourself do each step. A true artist. Keep up the great work, Emils Salmins.
The patience and precision is off the chart, and the dragon is magnificently dragonly, depth of ages in dragon's eyes ... nice walkthrough of the steps and skills, beautifully harmonious work of art.

Thank you, yes dragons are one of my favorite subjects to do, but they are super tricky to do, it's like drawing a sudoku puzzle, everything has to be in the right places.
