i was around 9 when i got wild world, and let me tell you when goldie packed up unannounced and wouldn't let me convince her to stay i cried for three hours over it. looking back, it was heartbreaking yet fun to see what they would do from a day to day basis.
I really hope some essence of a trading quest returns in a new animal crossing game. I've only really experienced trading quests in Ocarina of Time for the Biggoron Sword, and the combination of going from villager to villager and returning an item just feels so rewarding.
I came here to watch Peanut because she's my favorite and it turns out you have Rolf too! He's my most favorite! On another note, villagers never move out unexpectedly in this game. If the town is at 8 villagers and 2 or more days have passed since the last time someone moved in or tried to move out, one of the villagers that are at home will be "in boxes", so the trick to keep your favorite villagers in place is to visit everyone if you haven't played in a while. I hope this helps!
They can move out unexpectedly. I've had it happen several times, most recently last month. I played on a Friday, and Rowan was walking around outside (not packed up). The next time I played, on Monday, I got his goodbye letter in the mail. I had no chance to stop him. The "2 or more days" things isn't always the case either, because I had Kid Cat move in on September 1st, and Rolf was in boxes to move out on September 2nd. It may be uncommon, but it can happen.
I still remember my way to get the golden axe in acww. I almost never had Wendell in my town. But it's good that your way to the golden axe goes pretty fast.

Well I did like him for a while, but he started to get on my nerves. Wild World personalities can do that sometimes, make me dislike a character I would otherwise like.
In rather miss how villagers can randomly move out or move in, it made the older games much more surprising to log into each day.
Ikr but so much more depressing knowing that your favorite character could just move out whenever,like bob...
