I love how in older Animal Crossing games they gave so much depth to these side characters! I'd say the first game did it very well for being the intro to Animal Crossing and all. This game tried to continue that trend and that was impressive for the DS! This trading sequence not only netted you a great reward, but offered plenty of fun secrets, gave the special characters more depth in what they offered for the game, and built upon the world itself. Animal Crossing today has moved away from stuff like this and it's a genuine shame! Many secrets nowadays are gained through tedious routines and many of the side characters aren't given nearly the amount of depth that they deserve. Sorry for the tangent, but I want Animal Crossing to do cool stuff like this again and more frequently! I think special characters should offer special quests unique to them a little more frequently.
I genuinely love that you still keep this channel alive and continue with old animal crossing. It brings me such nostalgic feelings and I'm so grateful for it. I miss being young and playing this so much!
I love learning new things about animal crossing, especially in the older games. That’s why I think they’re the best imo. They don’t change through upgrades, they just have many secret features that you find out as you play 😊
Your neighbours soemtimes tell you about the things special charakters want. Besides that it would still be very hard to get through the whhole process without any guides. Maybe some got the axe without using guides but then missed some pictures of the trading quest
Already got it but still quite interesting! I love watching guides of different Animal Crossing games again and again even though I´m not currently playing them. The videos just have a realy calming vibe. Especially when they are about older games of the series
As much as I love wild world, I really dislike how you have to do all of that in order to receive the pictures/golden axe. My biggest problem with that system being that you get pretty much 0 clues as to who needs to receive what item to proceed with the quest. Still great video :)
Yeah, I can certainly understand that. Other than Redd mentioning Nook when he gives you the safe, there aren't really any hints. Practically nobody will find this out without a guide (or a video like this one). But at the same time, I like the fact that the game has some obscure things to do that most players have probably missed out on, and it can give you something new to do, perhaps years later.
I also think that if you know the characters quite well, you can give a guess as to what they'd want (Saharah walking outside all day might want a hat, etc.)
i have been resetting my clock for about a month as i just need to find pascal and i haven't come across him! any help on when he most likely would come? x
He will come on random weekdays. Keep in mind that Booker won't tell you when Pascal is in town, because Pascal comes by sea and not through the gate. So you'll need to check the shore for him each day.

I like how once you get the massage chair, you can just order it from Tom and try again from there to get the other item.

Thats so true
I saw how to get this a while back, it really made me wonder if many people got this without any guides or help from someone else.

@@spicysesam Oh, didn't realize that, I guess I must've just never ended up getting any of those bits of dialogue
I played acww back in 2007 and I used to read the guides I found on Internet. There weren't many guides, but they existed
It definitely would have been cool to see something like this in new horizons

This is defenetly my favourite game to get the golden axe in 🙂
Today I got my 2nd massage chair! Please Nintendo, let me get the axe, it has been like 14 years...
Good luck!
Thank you for making this video it's easier for me to learn through visualization than reading a guide
I really miss this kind of events in posterior games...
I’m pretty sure that I never got the golden axe legitimately back when I was a kid. Maybe this is my chance to go back and do just that!
That’s awesome! Thanks for the tip, I’m going to do that the next time I play!
Would you consider making a video about snow folk? ❄️ their dialog in the games comparisons, what furniture they give you etc!
Glad to be here as always 😊
I never knew of all this 😮 fascinating 🤨
Wendell has never showed up to my town ever since I got the red turnip.
Yeah, each step may take weeks, or longer. Just keep checking every weekday, and he'll show up eventually.
