I don't know if you knew this, but K.K Song is actually based on Totaka's Song. Kazumi Totaka is a game developer at Nintendo, who likes to put this exact melody in the games he works on, as an easter egg. You can actually find videos where people show, how you can hear Totaka's Song in each of his games

When I was a kid my parents would get annoyed by sounds and if my little sister heard me play video games she'd just turn her music loud enough to cover everything else ^^"
Since then I've just kept on playing without or with very little sound on. Just enough to listen to the dialogues ^^"
I am sort of the same for different reasons, I can get overstimulated with background music and need to turn it off 😅 in acnh I wish so much there was an option in the game where we could turn off the music playing and just have the ambiance instead..
